They came out when they said they would and couldn't be any nicer. Also, it didn't cost what we were quoted, it was hundreds of dollars cheaper! Awesome company!

Finally got my tub leak fixed after 2 years and three maintenance men later talked my landlord into calling a professional. So glad to not have a leak after every shower. It's been a few months and still not leaking. Thanks affordable construction

I sent plans for an estimate back on January 14th I called in today February 4th for status on the estimate and was told they don’t have the resources for my project, and apologized that I didn’t get a call. Horrible customer service. Don’t advertise general contracting if you don’t have the resources to perform such work!

Jason is a hands-on owner. Jobs come with pride, communication, honesty, and quality. Over 11 years he laid flooring, remodeled bathroom, remodeled kitchen, siding, windows, excavation, and even a roof.
Ask him about the award winning kitchen remodel.

I'm having several projects done by Affordable Construction. Everyone I've met and spoken with from the business has been great. They've just completed the first project and I couldn't be happier. They put runners on the floor, cleaned up the sawdust, and even brought their own garbage can for the debris.

The job (installing a range hood/vent, which involved drilling through my cabinet above the stove and venting it through the attic) was done professionally and with precision. I was particularly impressed by their willingness to keep me in the loop and explain every step of the procedure--even consulting me about what type of insulation I wanted aroud the duct! (I had no opinion one way or the other, of course, but was pleased that they would ask for the customer's input like that.)

The next project is installing a new water heater. I suspect that that, too, will go well.

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?
+-

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
