Affordable Cabins And Sheds

I moved to Alabama in December 2024 and started looking for an affordable shed. I looked for weeks and couldn't decide on the price or size and started dealing with Jewelia at Affordable Cabins and Sheds. I kept aggravating her with different ideas and she would immediately send me a new quote with the changes. I finally decided on this building. Two guys came out and built this in one day on my property. They were such hard workers. I didn't have to deal with taking down a fence and having one hauled in, which would have been smaller than this one, for the same price. I couldn't believe how much larger the loft is than the ones on the lots. My grandson built the floor in the loft area but it would have been just as cheap if we had it built on site also. The lumber cost as much, as it would have for these 2 guys to build it for us. This is the most reasonable place that I could find and they had to travel over 2 hours to get here. Good price. Quality construction. Haden and his crew were on time and did a professional build and cleaned everything up. Neighbors have come by asking for the company’s info.

I got an 8 X 10 shed with a shelf, workbench, ramp, and metal roof at the start of this year. The staff were friendly and the whole process was simple. The inside is over 7 ft tall, most other shed builders/pre-built sheds do not offer this or want you to pay a lot more money. I highly recommend Affordable Cabins and Sheds if you are looking to get a shed built.

They called in advance and arrived right on time and finished building the 12x24’ shed with a 4’ porch in 2 days with excellent craftsmanship. We highly recommend this business! Here is a photo after we painted it and one after we had the foundation bricked.

I cannot recommend Affordable Cabins and Sheds highly enough! Our construction team, Mike and Joe, were expert, polite, and thorough! Our shed is amazing! I researched our shed options and what I loved about Affordable Cabins and Sheds was that they built on site and used quality materials. We upgraded our roof to metal as well. A 12 x 16 foot shed, built start to finish, in one day! This is a company with a system that works! Wow!

This team was perfect from start to finish. I needed a shop for my business and reached out to Jewelia at Affordable Sheds. From start to finish the help she provided was flawless.
On build day, Hayden and crew showed up on time and worked non-stop. Each day he ensured the build site was cleaned up and would touch base with me prior to leaving. On the final day the build site was spotless, Hayden performed a walk through with me and explained the warranty.
Great experience with this team from start to finish. I would certainly use them again!

We shopped most of the local shed dealers and was not satisfied with the quality nor pricing. The interior height was less that 8’ and we needed the additional clearance for equipment. Found Affordable Sheds on a Google Search and have been greatly pleased! Jewelia worked with us with pricing, details and final contract and was very patient and accommodating. We decided on a 12x32 single garage with 8 feet barn doors and 2 windows. Their pricing was almost $2k less than local shed dealers and was actually built on our site! The materials were high quality to include Advantech flooring and provided a small roof overhang to deal with heavy rainfall. They buried the 4 corner posts in concrete. This building is solid and will last a very long time. Built on 24” center with every other stud doubled. Mike was on time and completed this large building in two days. They worked hard, cleaned up and did an outstanding job. We could not be more pleased with our choice to work with Affordable Sheds and our single garage! Why buy a short shed when you can have a full-size sturdy garage for lower price built onsite!

Best experience with a crew that I’ve ever had. Three guys, 8 hours, start to finish. 14x16 barn. Unbelievable quality in materials and abilities. They showed up as promised and worked all day. Finished so fast, but I watched it go up. 2x6 floor joists, double studs, tongue-groove flooring. Just lucked out and found them on google. What a blessing. Jewelia was a pleasure to deal with as well. She organized and walked me thru their process. All by e-mail and phone. I was set to buy an 8x20 prefab shed because that’s all I was told I could get thru my gate. Never once thought I’d find a group that will build onsite. Fantastic experience. Highly recommend.

This was probably the easiest thing I've done. Called with what I was looking for and Jewelia took it from there. Got everything lined up and sent contract over once all of my questions were asked and answered.
They come and build on your property. Mike & Kurt were great - so friendly and easy to joke around with. They did a great job of building my 12x16 shed. Another great thing is - you pay when they are DONE!!! Nothing up front.

Once Randall & crew arrived today, they were business at hand. I'm pleased with the on-site construction & appearance of my shed. It appears firm, tight & level. I do not see all those gaps that I saw in units I visited wherein the vendors have the sheds built and then delivered. For warranty purposes, I will send photos once I have my storage shed caucked, primed & painted. Randall was very communicative throughout the build. He & his crew were happy to answer the few questions I did had and promptly addressed any concerns, which were minimal. Again, thank you for a pleasant, professional customer service & customer care experience, from sale, to scheduling to execution. I have already shared your information with others.

There is no prefabrication - a trailer full of lumber pulls up and some sawing and hammering later a custom built solid building is standing.

Marty kicks off the process, does this ~400 times a year I think, and walks you through your design, then documents it and sends you an email. He’s also available via phone and text.

The build team of Mike and Steven were top notch - I’ve never seen anyone work as hard and non stop as Mike and Steven. They are a well oiled shed building machine. And all the while they are neat as a pin. Nothing was left behind but a grand shed. And Mike kept me informed the whole time. No surprises!!! Love these guys!!

I'm about to order my third shed from Marty. The quality is terrific and the crews are real pros. He can't control the price of materials, which has skyrocketed in the last year and continues to climb. Any price increase after his quote are solely due to increase in the price of lumber. If you want an honest, no-nonsense company for your project, this is it.

If you need a great shed, Affordable Cabins & Sheds is the way to go! I highly recommend you request Mike to build it on site for you. He is professional and transparent. We are very pleased with their work.

My fiance and I obtained a quote and spoke with Marty. Initially, on the phone with me Marty was very pleasant and helpful. After the quote was delivered, specifications for the loft size had been changed without explanation. I emailed back bc mistakes happen and gave him my fiance number to call bc I was going to be working and unavailable. Found out later that when my fiance asked about the size difference in the loft that Marty claimed he had explained it and it had to be that way etc. Again, never did. Also, when asking about financing (I had asked in original submission for quote AND in a following email with no answer) he immediately wrote us off and got rude. My fiance asked for any opinions on who would be willing to finance a project like this which he said he doesn't get involved and doesn't know, which is fine. But what was said after was rude and unwarranted. "You can either afford to buy one or not". Which is also fine if that's how you run your company. But to go as far as to act like we have wasted your time with getting a quote when I asked in the original submission is ridiculous. The rudeness and delivery of how you talked to my fiance made us realize that even if we could afford your 'affordasheds' we wouldn't continue with the project and risk dealing with that type of personality. Maybe the money pays for a better customer service as well as higher lumber prices? But that's not how we like to treat people in our own businesses.

Great people to work with. Lumber prices are causing them to be expensive right now, but usually a good price for a well built product. Much better quality than a "mobile" built shed.

Marty and his crew are awesome. They gave me a great price on a storage shed and were able to deliver install in a short time after the contract was signed. Marty is excellent at staying in communication and guiding you through the options to make sure that the install goes very smooth. The entire crew were extremely polite, professional and hard working. We live 2-3 hours from their office but based on reviews and Marty's quick response and professional manner we chose them over many other companies in the Atlanta metro area. I received a call the afternoon prior with a timeframe for their arrival, and they showed up right on time, and 6 hours later had the project complete. I cannot recommend them highly enough if you are looking for a quality product at a fair price and superior customer service.

I picked out a building design , we set a date for install, marty called and said they could start sooner . long story short they built a 12x28 building in 1 day . could not be happier . very professional. I would recommend to anyone.

Amazing quality and prices. Even in the time of a pandemic, Marty still worked with us to get the perfect shed in the price range we had. He is a great Christian man who cares about his customers!

Great service and Marty was great to work with and answered all our questions. She’s was what we wanted and the guys that came out were friends and did a great job.

We had a signed contract with this company. After waiting for at least 6 weeks, Marty called to up the price of our storage building. Told me if I didn’t like the increase in price that I was free to cancel the contract. The increase was close to $500. There was nothing stated in the contract that said the price could change. I went with a DIFFERENT COMPANY, we have our building and are very happy. I was extremely disappointed, shocked and furious with Marty and the way he conducted business. A contract is a contract! I will never recommend this company!

I am extremely impressed with Marty an his team of guys, I called told him what I wanted an Marty made it happen, his team of men were courteous an extremely nice, I would recommend this company to anyone who is wanting a built on site storage building.

On time,built my building fast,great quality and very polite and easy to work with. They even worked around my schedule even though they were coming from Tennessee to mount olive al which is 3 1/2 hours away . I highly recommend this company!

Folks, let me start by saying that we LOVE OUR BUILDING!

My wife and I have been wanting a shed for a couple of years now - so, this year we decided to go ahead and get it. We researched and put out feelers about where we wanted to buy one from and got nothing but confused in the process!

Everywhere we looked, it was the same story - a lot of companies offered what THEY wanted to sell you.....a pre fab unit, very few choices, and on their terms!

So, we turned to prayer and sure enough, a co-worker heard we were looking for a shed and HIGHLY recommended Affordable Cabins and Sheds!

Upon making the first call, Marty was very professional and put me at ease about this venture. He was polite and was not afraid to reference the bible, God, or Christianity!
