Advanced Home Inspections (AHI) - Jay Hooper

Used Jay at Advanced Home Inspections. Did a very thorough job and called to go over the inspection right after. Very knowledgeable and friendly, would highly recommend.

Had Jay do a home inspection of a home built in 1920s & as a first time home buyer, was rather intimidated by the whole process. Jay was efficient, caring and a great communicator throughout the process! He looked at everything and found quite a bit of stuff that we needed to fix in order for the home to be safe for me & my little girl. He is truly a Rockstar of inspectors & anyone would be so lucky to get him to inspect their home. While his report was long, it was easy to read because everything had pictures and descriptions. A+++++ job, thanks so much!!

Called Jay to do an inspection on a house we already bought. The first inspector missed a major issue, so we wanted to double check any issues with the house. This is the second time I've used AHI. I find the team to be extremely thorough and detailed in their inspection. Things that I did not notice, and I'm pretty observant, were brought to my attention and explained as either something I should have addressed or something that is "normal" for a situation.
Since I'm older, hopefully I won't move again, but if I do, I'll ask my realtor to engage AHI.

Todd got back to us with some of our questions rather quickly. Though many of the things noted are "visible" the understanding of codes (underbelly, water tank, roof and such) was valuable.

Todd was extremely thorough and knowledgeable. On time and allowed us to ask as many questions after he walked us through his findings. We received the results via email immediately and had no problem booking in a timely manner. Would highly recommend.

We used AHI for our recent home inspection on a property we are buying. Todd did a great job and was very thorough. We had another company do the previous home we bought and they did a good job, but they weren’t nearly as thorough. The report given by AHI was extremely detailed. I had some questions and concerns and he went out of his way to explain and point out any issues. He also detailed a lot of thing to look out for steps needed to correct any concerns. I would definitely use them again and I highly recommend them.
