Ace Hardware Southern Home and Garden

Staff was very friendly when I was there for the first time to pickup a Weber grill. They loaded it to my truck in the loading dock. Nice experience!

It's a cute little spot to get work done on equipment check out some antique items and definitely check out the garden center the koi pond alone is beautiful but the way they have it set up is beautiful in itself the yard fountains that you can get are beautiful and very well priced they have a staff that is very sweet

I feel the employees are like good neighbors. Every time I or my husband visit, we are warmly welcomed. The help is very knowledgeable, and I have felt I always got the answers I needed for a project I'm either working on or thinking of starting. Thanks, team Temple!

They have made a lot of changes, all good. They carry a great deal more merchandise than in the past. Everyone else was out of stock, Ace had what I needed.

We always have a great experience with the friendliness and organization of the store. I recently had to run in for my father and Amy offered to pull the part and hold it so I didn’t have to struggle and I was in and out in less than a minute!

The associates were friendly and helpful upon entering. Store was clean and organized which made the items I wanted to look at purchasing easy to locate.

I stopped in to purchase a propane tank and to have the tank filled to be prepared for the potential loss of power during the tropical storms. It was raining so I told the lady and man behind the counter that I hated to ask if I could purchase a tank and have it filled with propane because it was raining. The guy behind the counter, who I assume is the manager, rudely replied that he was not going out in the weather. He claimed that it had been lightning. I drove from LaGrange and I had not noticed any lightning. Either way, he should not have responded so rudely.

I have been using this ACE in Carrollton for several years. Nothing but great experiences when I go.

I chose this ACE over any franchise hardware store such as Lowe’s or Home Depot. I believe in shopping local.

From the moment I walk in the store I’m greeted by employees asking me if there is anything they can help me find.

Customer service is on point and the materials I’m looking for are in stock. The employer will even follow by asking if there anything else I need.

Most times in a store you can never find anyone to help you but not this Ace.

Had a blonde haired associate, I think her name was Katie, was so helpful! Answered all my questions and recommended other products for my issue! She was super helpful and friendly! 10 out of 10 will come back!

Lovely garden center, even before most things are blooming! The ladies that work there were so helpful and sweet. There's a kitty in the paint section too!! I nominate it for employee of the month

My only complaint is that the garden center building is not wheelchair accessible. I'm disabled and was using crutches when I visited, but any other day would not be able to come in!

In the very beginning, I was hesitant about shopping at this location due to the name Southern Ace Hardware. The atmosphere, the location, had me a little cautious about shopping at this store due to the name SOUTHERN ACE HARDWARE but I decided to give it a shot. The store was very clean an very well stocked with the products I was looking for when I walked in. NO ONE offered to help me initially. I continued to browse for about 15 minutes before being asked if I needed help. I noticed that once I began to ask questions, I was approached by several of the stores team members, which gave me an uncomfortable feeling. After making my decision, everything seemed to be ok until I decided to make a second purchase. The young teenage girl at the register was looking at me very strangely as if she really did not want to help me because I was a BLACK MAN then when I paid for my item, she placed my receipt on the counter and not in my hand and that was very rude of her she did this because of my skin color! After my purchase, I had to call I had to call Ace Hardware customer service for some additional help, but I was satisfied in the end. Thank you.

Called about the lid for my Yeti cup. The information was spot on. The store is clean and well organized. Very helpful employees.

I haven't been in here in awhile and went in a few days ago to find that the store had been remodeled , and I must say I was NOT impressed at all with the new look of it . I think it was much more inviting and interesting to shop in with the older layout. Things were easier to find and it was much more like an county store and had a more home town feel to it.
