My family and I were in Lead for the weekend. We had an unexpected but hilarious project we needed some very random things for. Mr Jimmy and Mr Kenny made our 3+ trips to Ace memorable and laughable. They were amazingly helpful I can't say anything negative about Ace in Lead.
I recently purchased a vacation rental home in Lead, SD, and I couldn't be more happy that there is an Awesome Ace Hardware store there! I have been in the store multiple times as have my partners in the house. They are very nice and very helpful! If you need it, they most likely have it! Great place for all your hardware needs! I am writing to share my recent experience at your store. As a long-time loyal customer since 2005, I have always appreciated the level of customer service that I have received from your employees, particularly the older gentleman who works at the store. However, my recent experience with one of your young lady cashiers left a lot to be desired.
During my last visit to the store, I found the young people working there to be very unhelpful. Unfortunately, the young lady cashier was particularly unprofessional in her treatment of me. This experience was very disappointing and has led me to reconsider my decision to continue patronizing your store.
I wanted to bring this issue to your attention in the hope that it can be addressed promptly. While I understand that every business is staffed by individuals with different levels of experience and training, customer service is a critical aspect of any business. It is important that all employees, regardless of their age, provide courteous and helpful assistance to customers.
