Nathan from Ace Handyman Services repaired some tiles in our shower stall. He did a wonderful job, you can't even tell where it was repaired. He was also very nice, friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend them to all our friends

Had an issue and would NOT call back to resolve the issue. Called multiple times and you get an answering service! Asked for a number and they won’t email
The direct number or give it on the phone. One handyman was great but he didn’t have a phone. The man who had a phone did not Come prepared and he had to go back to his car multiple Times to get tools or maybe he was taking breaks. But wasted payroll hours! He was not experienced because he took a long time to do things and would waste time watching the other guy working. If I redirected him he didn’t like that. I heard him say “good thing we get paid by the hour.” Watch the hours they clock in because they came late and left earlier than what they reported to their company. They also didn’t report their lunch hour. This was in New Orleans. And the owners won’t call you back. They claim they did! Owner names are David and Sharon Abadie. Kevin is the guy who was running the show and reporting hours. But guy with him was diligent, prepared and hard working. They are both nice and kind. Kevin seems to be the straggler. I asked the owners to call we we can resolve professionally and leave with good rapport. Maybe even request the nicer and hardworking guy in the future. But doesn’t seem they care. Regardless , I paid the bill. I Feel sad and violated that no one called and handled it more professionally. We are good and honest people so we paid the bill but wish we were shown more respect.

In response to their review : I love how they failed to discuss how they lied about hours reported and didn’t report the lunch they took. And how they’re experienced workers were dishonest. Honesty and Integrity is very important above all! I have no reason to lie and I also paid the bill sent although I felt time was wasted by one employee and as you can see I said one employee was great. So I said the truth! The person who was did a good job, I write in the review was great! I can show pictures of how many times I asked for a phone number. If the phone conversation happened, most likely, I would have felt heard. I can show text message showing what time they really arrived and left with time stamps. That will prove the lies! Nathan did a great job repairing my parents gate. They had repaired it almost a year ago but due to wind damage it needed to be repaired again. He was very knowledgeable and reinforced the gate. He also added an extra piece on his own time. We are very grateful to him and would recommend Ace Handyman.

David worked hard and installed our closet doors beautifully. We have an old house and nothing is level so it was a challenge. Ace Handyman Services performs excellent, high quality work and the technicians are always friendly and very knowledgeable. The inspection/estimate process is quick and easy. Great value for the services performed. I am so happy that I was referred to Ace!

David has continuously graced our office with such kindness, professionalism, and obvious talent. I can't say enough positive about Ace Handyman Services. Dallas came out with days of my inquiry to look at my needed repairs. Kevin spent 4 days at my house working through a long list (dry wall repair, door trim replacement, tile repair, attic insulation and more). On top of the great work Kevin did, I found myself in a real bind because another workman was giving me the run around for over a month to do some facia repairs. I told Dallas about my issue and he sent David out a few days later to fix that. The work done by both of them was terrific. Even better, they all showed up on time every time and communicated all the way through. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I've already referred my parents to Ace Handyman and absolutely recommend them.

Dallas as usual was prompt and took care of the repairs efficiently and professionally. He is friendly and patient and made a good friend of our young German shepherd who remembers him from prior visits. appreciate Dallas’ patience with her puppy enthusiasm. Great work.

Roy texted me in advance of the appointment to let me know he was on his way. Arrived 10 minutes early. We did a quick walk around to confirm what I needed done. He got right to work. Was thorough and fast. Would use this company again.

Dallas, arrived promptly; viewed the work required; and submitted a verbal estimate, followed thereafter, with a written professional quote. I scheduled the work; and within a few days, technician Roy arrived, timely to do the work. Roy, completed the work in a neat and on schedule manner while cleaning up thereafter. Sharon, handled all calls in a personable, efficient and professional manner. I recommend them for satisfactory work at a modest cost.

had someone come out in October to look at the project i wanted to do. the guy was there for about 20 minutes and left. he was very pleasant. We are now in December and have yet to receive the actual estimate. I have emailed twice and called twice without any response. This is not the experience i was expecting.

Matt was great. He arrived on time and was very knowledgeable. He even made my dog feel comfortable! What I appreciate most is that he was very honest. He told me that my problem is more likely a roof issue and therefore not something he could address. A more unscrupulous person would have taken advantage of my ignorance, but he told me the truth. Since it was a consultation, he didn't even charge me anything, just told me what next steps I need to take. It was so refreshing to not be scammed or cheated and I'll definitely be reaching out when I do have some tasks that he or his team can accomplish.

I called these folks twice concerning some doors I wanted to be hung at my elderly Dad's hse in Harahan, La. I am in Houston. They did go by the house and met with my sister who takes care of my Dad. I did receive a automatically generated "How did we do" email from them but I did call them twice but they failed to call me back both times and in the meantime I obviously did not get a quote, idea of when they could do the job etc. They unfortunately did not finish what they started and totally dropped the ball

I can't praise Matt enough. He came early and I was a little snippy to him because I wasn't ready but he was not defensive and was very polite to me. I hadn't had time to dust the top of the door which is what was broken and dust got on him and I felt terrible about it but he was very nice about it. I had alot of stuff taking up space and tried to clear it but it was still not alot of space and he worked with it! And without making me feel bad about it! He was very gracious and re-assuring. My heavy, old-time, beautiful front door wouldn't close due to house-sinking so he saw the problem, went to his truck, and got a tool to shave it. He also fixed the door handle that had fallen off. And he made sure both locks were locking again. He did not over-do anything by saying buy a new handle or a new door knob or a new door or a new lock or whatever. He was conservative in his fixing of the problem and just did what needed to be done and no excess and he worked with the situation and with the state of the door without it costing me a fortune. Inotherwords, the door still was warped but he made it functional. I didn't want a new door because this one had carved woodwork from olden days when doormakers had such workmanship. It onl cost me $100 for Matt to get my big front door to close again. I can't stress how great Matt was and how happy I am with Ace Handyman. I am so excited to have a handyman service I can trust and who is so very reliable. I have an old house in mid-city and there are so many handyman needs! Ace Handyman is so professional and efficient but have a human touch. Matt even tried to pet my little chiwawa who was growling at him in fear and I was so impressed he was so nice to her, and to me. Matt had just come to my house to give an estimate and I ended up getting my door all fixed in record time and on the same day and right then and there! I loved that I spoke to a human to make the estimate appointment because I don't like doing it on-line. I called or entered a request on-line to ten different places and Ace Handyman were the ones that came through first and the quickest. Very expeditious service. My front door hasn't closed in years. I thought it couldn't be fixed! But it's all fixed now! I'm so excited!

The guy who came out was prompt, polite and on time. The quote to install simple LVT flooring in my 1100 sqft home was OUTRAGEOUSLY priced. I received 3 other quotes this week all between $1900-$2400 and I was quoted $6,700 today.

Mr Matt came assessed the situation gave us a quote told us what we needed to do to get our door fixed. He was super friendly and knowledgeable I will definitely recommend this company and use them for future projects thank you Mr Matt

I couldn't be more please with Matt's work. My closet shelf fell down and he came first to check it out. When he returned to fix it, he used all the best things to anchor it correctly. Job took less than half an hour. Very pleased and will certainly call on you again for any other handy man problems.

This a great honest company is your looking for small work to be done around your house. I needed a lock installed on a storm door that had been off since Katrina. The technician came to give me a estimate and advised me to return the lock and purchase a different one. The ease of scheduling was so great as they were very understanding in me having to make several cancellations. I was so happy with the job performed and the clean up after . The technician knew what he was doing and experience. As a female I didn't feel taking advantage of with the pricing. I love that they are employees of the company and not sun contractors I will definitely use them again!

Steve showed up right on time, looked at the issue, got to work and completed the job in no time. He was so easy to deal with I would recommend him to anyone and everyone. And, I will use him for any future projects that I might have.

Reached out to Handyman Matters of Metairie for consult/estimate for repair work to two slip-head windows. Matt came out to check what repairs were needed and provided estimate. Handyman Matters of Metairie quickly scheduled appointment. Kevin was the craftsman assigned. Kevin came out on time and was very pleasant and knowledgeable on the slip-head window operation. Kevin worked quickly and efficiently to get the repairs made. Kevin did a good clean up of the job site and the windows were in great shape after repaired. I highly recommend Handyman Matters or Metairie. I will be reaching out to them to get quote for replacement of 7 celling fans and supporting electrical if needed.

Was right on time for a consultation and was even able to return later in the day to do the job (install a doggy door) due to a cancellation. Appreciated the timeliness, kindness, knowledge, and quality of job! Will certainly use again if needed.

Handyman Matters did a great paint job. I only needed two walls painted so I didn’t want to pay a lot. It looks great and the service was professional and no cleanup was required after. The price ended up lower than quoted since it only took one coat. I will definitely use Handyman Matters in the future and recommend them for your job.
