Customer feedback for Accurate Automotive is overwhelmingly positive, highlighting their honesty, reliability, and effective communication. Many reviews commend the mechanics for their expertise in handling a wide range of vehicles and for being upfront about repair costs and timelines. Additionally, customers appreciate the personal touch and professional service they receive, often mentioning that they have been loyal clients for years. However, there is one notable negative review that points to a lack of attention to original clients and issues with customer service, which slightly mars the otherwise strong reputation of the business.
- Chris and his son Dean are honest upfront mechanics!!
- They are trustworthy, reasonable prices, and they take the time to listen to you.
- Chris did great work on my Audi where other shops didn't want to or could not do the work.
- I trust Chris to work on pretty much anything I bring his way.
- They always do a fine job, only fix things that need fixing, and costs are reasonable.
- They couldn’t complete fixing my Jaguar and let my car sit there for a full week.
- When I complained, he childishly blocked my cell number from calling.

We had been coming here >5 yrs. Now that all of Fairfax Co. FLED to Loudoun Co. Accurate Auto FORGOT their original clients. They couldn’t complete fixing my Jaguar, Then said I needed to take it to someone else & they would give me that contract info. They told me I shouldn’t drive it more than to this other mechanic. They let my car sit there for a full week as I waited for the other mechanic’s contact info. When I complained to the son, he childishly blocked my cell number from calling. My Mercedes-Benz SUV same situation, he couldn’t fix the turbo & kept telling my daughter who drives that vehicle that he would get info to us. This other person’s contact information and never transpired, and the car sat there. We found an excellent foreign car mechanic on our own. They now Forget appointments. My son made an appointment last week, for my home healthcare co’s Tahoe for today & they forgot the appointment & asked him to come next week. We are not going to bring any of our vehicles to this place anymore.

Highly recommend Accurate Automotive!! I was heading home from work in Winchester last Thursday when my car overheated (after just filling the coolant 5 minutes prior) and had my car towed here. Never used them before, but trusted them as I knew Dean from working together years ago. Chris and Dean fixed my car with a very fair price within only 3 days, including having to order parts. Will definitely use them again!

Accurate Automotive has been our go-to mechanic for 5+ years after two different friends recommended them. They are 10 miles from our home, but we happily drive that far to get the benefit of Chris & Dean's expertise and persistence in solving mechanical issues. They try to keep older autos running as long as it's feasible, and we are certain they will tell us if/when the time comes to stop putting any more money into the car. Their most recent heroics came after we took our older vehicle for a state inspection at an overly zealous tire shop (Accurate Automotive is not licensed to do inspections), who failed our car based on many items that they determined (incorrectly, as it turned out) had to be replaced to pass inspection, at a cost estimate of ~$3300. We took the car to Accurate for a second opinion, and they went so far as to check the VA State rules and guidelines for each of the alleged violations. Chris & Dean were able to determine, in conjunction with another shop licensed for state inspections, that there were actually no violations which would generate a failed inspection. Full disclosure: Chris & Dean did note that one of the items would be a good idea to replace at a cost of ~$450, even though it still passed inspection. We have never had any reason to question any recommendation or advice from Chris or Dean. We have the highest regard for their integrity and abilities.

The average roof replacement cost for a residential home typically ranges from $7,000 to $15,000, depending on factors such as roof size, chosen materials, roof pitch, and labor rates in your area. Premium materials or complex designs may increase the price.
The cost to replace the roof of a commercial building typically ranges from $5 to $12 per square foot, depending on several factors such as roof size, material, labor rates, building type, and local code requirements.
Several factors influence roof repair cost, including the extent of the damage, roof accessibility, material type, labor costs, and whether it’s a general repair or an emergency fix. Minor repairs can start around $150–$400, while major repairs may exceed $1,500.
Roof leak repair cost generally ranges from $300 to $800, depending on the size and location of the leak, the materials required, and labor intensity. Complex leaks involving structural repairs or interior damage will cost more.
Flat roof repair cost for commercial properties usually ranges from $500 to $3,000, depending on the roofing material (TPO, EPDM, PVC), the extent of the damage, and roof accessibility.
Mobile home roof replacement cost typically ranges from $3,000 to $8,000, making it generally more affordable than traditional home roof replacements, due to smaller size and simpler structure.
It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.
The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.
To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.
Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.
When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.
Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
