This shop is amazing! Not only was my Jeep finished faster than expected and looks great but they were in touch with me the entire time letting me know what was going on and how things were progressing! Every member of their staff was beyond nice and helpful, they even went above and beyond by getting my car inspected for me (they don’t even do this) since it wouldn’t pass prior to work being done and came due while with them! This is the place to go for body work! I can’t be more impressed with this business!!!

The repairs on my car took 2 MONTHS longer than they quoted. The communication was lacking and they had to take it apart multiple times due to misses during their initial review. After I got it back, it had to go back again (3 days later) because they "didn't realize there were two sensors" and only replaced one.

CarStar in Purcellville, va recently fixed my car and my husband's car in seperate incidents. They were friendly, thorough and kept me updated every step of the way. I did have a second quote from another business and this quote was several hundred dollars less. Both cars look like new now ( they are both 2024 vehicles). I would definitely recommend this body shop.

They were wonderful! I used them for repairs done to my car after an accident. They got the replacement parts and repair work done on the same day. Every person I dealt with was very polite and helpful. I definitely recommend them.

I hit a deer on my way home one evening in front passenger side of bumper and they did a amazing job in fixing it looks brand new great quality of work and great communication through the whole process

Communication is NOT their strong suit.

Had 2 incidents with my vehicle (Dodge Challenger) where a deer was struck. The first time they took 8 weeks to fix it. This would not be a huge deal, if there was PROPER communication throughout the process. When I picked up my car, the headlight they "fixed" went out not even 3 days after the vehicle was released to me.

I ended up hitting another deer 2 weeks later and had to bring the car back to them. I decided to go with them again against my better judgement. I'm definitely paying the consequences now. The lack of communication continues. My insurance company was told the car would be ready Feb 14; THEIR OWN website states completion date Feb 14.... When I call on Feb 14 to ask when I can come pick it up, I get attitude and the nastiest "did we call you". Why have a website if you're not going to update it? Why tell insurance INACCURATE INFORMATION. It's now Feb 21 and the only "communication" I have received all week in regard to my vehicle are the same automated messages I've been getting for 2 weeks now stating "we're working on it".

If you value your vehicle, time, money, and want to be informed throughout the process, I'd steer clear. Asking anyone anything is like pulling teeth, and being told "we're working on it" is simply unacceptable.

They really know how to give a pleasant customer service.
From the lady at the front desk (in person and by phone) to the agents that inspected my car (before and after).

Carstar Collision was very professional, customer service was friendly, the communication with the progress of my car was excellent. The work on my car exceeded my expectations. It came back looking perfect, and the inside was cleaned and vacuumed as well.

CarStar replaced the whole drivers side of my minivan and everything looks amazing. They sent text updates at each step of the process. When I went to go pick it up I was surprised to see the entire inside had been cleaned and wiped! Beautiful! I hope to never have to but I would go there again in a second!

Mike and Crystal were great about communicating the status of the repair progression. The workmanship was solid and the team responded in an exemplary manner or a minor oversight.

CARSTAR handled the necessary repairs to my car after a significant deer strike. First and most importantly, the repairs were well done- absolutely no complaints! Second, they communicated frequently about progress. I can’t imagine a better experience.

From start to finish the process was excellent . The estimator was up front and easy to talk to and gave realistic time table for repair . While the vehicle was in the shop I received regular updates on the status of the vehicle . Very easy rental with Enterprixe , who picked me up from CarStar and I just dropped the rental off at CarStar when the vehicle was ready . Job looks great ! Thanks
If you all have any recommendations on a push bar or bully bar for the 2018 Tacoma so that next time the deer may not do so much damage , I would welcome the suggestions .

Carstar in Purcellville is hands down one of the top businesses I’ve ever dealt with. They repaired my car that was rear ended perfectly. Friendly and professional communication from start to finish. They never allowed me to go more than one business day without providing me an update on what stage my vehicles repairs were in. They cleaned my car inside and out and explained exactly what was done to repair it. They provided me with a line by line explanation of the repairs they submitted to the other drivers insurance company and verified I was satisfied. Great job and thanks again.

SOOOOOO impressed with this place! From the beginning to the middle and all the way to the end, my experience was ABOVE and beyond! I cannot recommend this place enough! I was kept informed all along the way, I was given more information than I even asked for but it helped me feel like I knew all I needed to so I could say goodbye to my totaled vehicle. My car was involved in a hit and run accident and CarStar was so helpful throughout the whole process. They were able to get me an appointment in less than a week and estimated the repairs would take 5 days and they only took 2 days. My car looks brand new again. Let me just say, the CarStar Purcellville team helped to make a stressful experience really easy. The entire team was so kind and communicative. After weeks of waiting and back and forth, they helped me get in quickly, were willing to drive me to my rental car, and even made a personal call to the rental company to be sure everything was squared away when there was a miscommunication on the rental company side. Bryan and Mike were excellent with customer communication, updates, explanation of the work done, and the costs associated with it. When the deductible was higher than originally quoted by my insurance, they reached out to my insurance company and had it adjusted to what was originally quoted. Great location, easy drop off and pick up, would definitely use it again! A+, 10/10!

Customer service was always friendly and super responsive every time I called. After my teenage son scraped and dented and side of our high roof van, Mike and other technicians were super helpful with multiple options of fixing it. Ultimately my son got lucky and we were able to do a minor repair job and I was grateful for the honesty and not charging us a boat load. When the van actually does break, we will be returning to this location for help!
