Above Par did an amazing job creating the primary bath of our dreams! The attention to detail and designers eye created a stunning sanctuary! We just rehired them for our kitchen! Recommend 10/10.

Above Par replaced my roof and the process was smooth and easy. The job was done quickly and when complete the roof looked great and my site (my home and yard) was clean of any dangerous debris and sharp objects. I would use them again.

This is the amount of work done by this company after they took thousands of dollars from my 80+ mother.
The sales pitch was friendly and slick. They were very eager to get the ball rolling to get half the money up front. On the day they were supposed to start, they called to tell her they were "rescheduling because of weather" . That was almost a month ago. On one of the few times the office manager took a phone call she said she "didn't know" if the materials for the job had been even ordered.
Apparently, this is standard practice for this company according to BBB.
Unfortunately we believed a well know local business person that vouched for this company and were ripped off.

I wish this could have turned out different. I had a siding quote done about a year ago and he (BC) came out and things seemed good. Then recently I contacted them saying I may want to proceed with their services he suggested a meeting to go over things. Meeting time comes no call/no show. I message them almost 20 minutes after and say they must not be interested. 10 minutes later he is at my door and I asked him I thought we were meeting at 6 and he said he had work and I asked why he couldn't contact me and he said he didn't have his phone. Not apologetic , non- chalant and very much gas lighting. Was still trying to get business but the lack of accountability, unprofessionalism and attitude shows how they actually will be to work with. I understand people have bad/crazy days but you don't treat potential clients this way. I hope you can work at this and become successful in the future.
Update/Response to Above Par: To be clear that was the range B.C provided ("I can do either Wed or Thurs around 6-6:30 or Sat. around 11-11:30".). I responded Thu. at 6 would be great and he said "I'll see you then", I have the emails. I don't appreciate AbovePar's lying. No excuse for lying and unprofessionalism. You lost another star and $30-40K job. I don't believe the 5 star reviews, especially with processes like remodels. I even think the owner gave himself/Above Par a 5 star review so many of them may be friends, employees or family.

I am glad to say the repairs on our house has been fixed, the bay window look great .. it was a touch and go situation not all caused by this company .. Thank you Brian for coming through

update:
After getting over some minor email / communications issues, we were given a what we believe a fair proposal. Rob is very easy to work with and very helpful with suggestions. We have signed a contract and look forward to working with the Above Par Team.

We called for an estimate on our bathroom. Rob came out on a Saturday, took notes, pictures, gave us ideas etc... Told us it would see a quote the end of coming week. We had contact with him the following Saturday, he told us he was finishing up the quote and needed to go through management approval and should see something that coming week. Never received a quote and stopped responding to our emails. Very disappointed.

We hired Above Par for Windows, Siding, Facia, Soffit, Gutters, Kitchen counter, bathroom reno, and LVT flooring installation.
Signed contracts in early April 2021. One contract for work we were financing, the other for insurance work.

We were told they use their own employees. They do not. They were all subcontractors, and it was also the first time for them working with the siding subcontractor.
We were under the impression they would start as soon as the windows were manufactured. They did not. Instead of about 2 months, it took about 4 months to start the project. - They offered to move us up the schedule if we put down a larger down payment, even though we did give them thousands down.
We were told that once they started, things would flow one project into another and get done quickly. This didn't happen. There were weeks/months between projects. Started in August, last project was done just before Thanksgiving.
Windows installed poorly and missing parts.
Incorrect Window installed. Am I just to accept this error???
Damaged ALL my window jambs and trim, then wanted to charge more to fix it. The damage was a result of them not measuring windows correctly. I had to install new jambs and trim myself. They left my windows installed in bare framing (studs). I had HUGE gaps between the window and the framing that I had to trim over to cover their mistake and make safe for my kids.
Damaged my blinds and lost parts to them and many didn't fit since the window size changed. I had to replace ALL my blinds. Do you know how much it costs to replace 17 sets of blinds? I do..
Damaged my front awning, then wanted to charge more to fix it. Then left it torn apart. I had to put it back together myself.
Damaged my AC unit outside, several months later, it's still damaged and no resolution on getting it fixed or replaced.
Billed for services they didn't do, and threatened to put a lien on my house when I questioned the bill for things NOT complete and damage to my property.
Items were removed/changed from the original contract as things were delayed, but they still took the financing money for those items. Never settled on a final invoice BEFORE getting the financing money. They just took the money with the promise that they will eventually get things completed. (Over 6 months later, things are still not resolved or have no plans to resolve)
We were told to purchase the flooring in a hurry in July. It wasn't picked up at the store until October, then sat in my house for about a month before it was finally installed.
Final inspection for the permit was never completed. Permit is now expired.

We have MANY open issues that aren't resolved yet. Too many to list here.

Overall, I would not recommend this contractor due to the lack of communication on what's going on, the billing practices for taking money for things they didn't do and threatening to lien if you don't pay, and for misleading customers on timelines to get things done and saying they have their own employees, when they were all subcontractors.
They have yet to compensate me for fixing their damage to my property (Materials/labor).
They took financing money for things they didn't do and tried to justified it because we withheld insurance money for other things they also didn't do and damage to my AC unit.
My advice is to stay away.

Removed and replaced our roof about 3 years ago. in that time had some minor issues and Tim was outstandingly responsive and timely in taking care of the issue. Nice to see they stand behind their work

I used above par, for a solar customer of mine, for a new roof to be installed before our panels were put up.

Above Par did a great job with the quality of their work and it was done in a reasonable time. I am happy to do work with them on this and future projects.

Nothing but good things to say about this group! I had the unfortunate experience of having to wait on back ordered product for an unknown amount of time due to COVID. Above Par was on it the entire time. I was very pleased they regularly kept in touch with the supplier to provide me with constant updates. Communication is excellent. Their knowledge of the claims process and ability to handle it is sure to save you time and $money$! They waste no time. Start to finish my house to 2 days and they left no trace. Not to mention the faux stone veneer was a brand new product to the crew. Tim was there each day monitoring the install. Thanks to his attention to detail and combined expertise it turned out seamless. Truly impressive work. I highly recommend this group and can't wait to work with them in the future. Thanks again to everybody at Above Par for upholding your name!

They replaced my roof, siding, windows, doors, soffits, facia, gutters. Brian went above and beyond my expectations when providing me a quote. Was able to replace roof because of his efforts. Work was very professionally done and they cleaned up afterwards. The workers took their time and made sure everything fit perfectly. I have recommended them and will use them for future remodeling projects.

This is a great company to work with. Their owners and employees are really nice! I’ve known them for about 5 years or more. It’s always a pleasure working with them! I highly recommend their services!

I hired these guys to build my garage, I met with John Nicketta, at first he was very polite and it looked like they were doing a good job,but after a while his guys stopped coming to work on the project,and when they would come they would do a bad job, I paid them the rest of the money he asked for before finishing everything and never came back to finish, he stopped answering my calls and texts,please don’t hand any money to them until you see your project is finished!!

I had a great experience with Above Par Construction. Their quote was very competitive. The salesperson was extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions. They were always on time and they did a fantastic job! I used them for a new roof and for interior work (drywall, painting, etc.).

Triple Bogey!!! Set up an appointment for 1-3 PM with John. John did not show up for appointment and did not return my phone call. Called the business office, and person who answered indicated she would call John and find out where he was and call me back. No returned phone call. Unfortunately we as consumers can not bill time against companies that waste our valuable time by no showing. True to their poor golfing name reference, they fall short in basic expectations by wasting your time by no showing appointments and not properly communicating!

Great company to work with - very professional! Professionalism and honesty seem to be hard for so many other contractors to get... I look forward to future projects with you guys!

We contracted with Above Par for a new roof, gutters and siding on our garage. The roofers did a good job, however we had several issues with the siding. While most of the issues have since been remedied, there were more issues than acceptable. The quote included replacing rotted wood and included a fan fold insulation. The siding was placed over rotted wood and without the insulation. They had to remove the siding they had installed (luckily not much), and start over. There were nails all over including several strips of nails from the nail guns – this knowing that we have a dog! The gutters were installed shorter than the roof to the point that at each corner there was nothing catching the rain. There were a few other smaller issues as well. We did add some work along the way (additional aluminum covering wood), but the entire process started in May and did not complete until October. While Brian took over the job himself instead of the gentleman we started with and remedied most of the issues we had, we had asked that he return to go over what we felt was some sloppy work. As this was after we had paid the final bill – I guess he felt he did not need to come out and just mailed us the final paperwork. I rarely give unfavorable reviews, however after working with Brian quite successfully in the past with another company we looked forward to working with him again and had hoped to also contract with them to side our house. We will be looking elsewhere for that siding job.
I'd give 2 1/2 stars if it were an option instead of 3.

After having finished the remodel on the interior of our home, we decided to have the exterior updated and have our siding replaced. Above Par installed gutters a couple years ago so we called them back for an estimate. They were extremely competitive so we choose them again over other quotes. We are extremely pleased with the final results! The installers were punctual and showed up everyday until the job was done. They were very friendly and professional. I would recommend Above Par for any job that they could do. The transformation is amazing!

Due to a massive windstorm, we had shingles that had blown off the roof. It was an emergency and we needed someone to come out the same day. Above Par Construction was out within 2 hours of my call to them. John was very courteous, personable, professional and thorough.The end result is a repair that is seamless and unnoticeable as the new shingles match perfectly with the old shingles. Highly recommend!!!!

We used Above Par Construction to replace our home and garage roofs this past year. They were referred to us by a neighbor who also had them replace a roof so we thought, ok, "why not". Admittedly, my expectations were not high, but I was blown away! The customer service and attention to detail provided by the owner of the company, John, far exceeded what I thought I would get. Not only did he meet with our insurance agent and obtain all of the necessary approvals but he took the time to make sure that I got exactly what I wanted in our replacement roofs; and he did this around the schedule of a working mom with four small children at home and that is no small feat. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for home repairs or roof replacements. It's always nice to support another local small business with integrity.

John was excellent to work with when we had a leak in our roof. He identified where the leak was coming from and fixed that area and structural damage else where. He was very thorough and made sure there was no other issues to address.

The work was completed in timely manner. I would recommend them to everyone.
