We hired Abney Roofing for Attic Insulation. My wife corresponded with the crew and had great things to say. When I inspected the job I was pleasantly surprised with the work they did. They ensured our existing heating ducts were thoroughly insulated. I am impressed and will be recommending to others.

Matthew and Patti were able to book us in sooner than we could have hoped for. We hired Abney Roofing to insulate our attic. The crew was on site early, very kind and respectful of our home. They even went above and beyond when noticing problems with our existing heating system. A pipe had fallen off and we had no idea. He attached it and did a very thorough job of insulating the heating ducts to ensure no heat escaping. When they finished up for the day they cleaned up nicely and vacuumed. Our experience with Abney Roofing has been exceptional.

My experience in dealing with Abney Roofing was excellent. They were professional, very knowledgeable, did their best to accommodate my schedule and needs, helped me with invoices for insulation rebates, left my property very clean and have been a pleasure to communicate with. We have a townhouse complex that was converted from shakes to shingles 12 years ago. The strata council at that time went with the cheapest roofers they could find which resulted in a terrible job. They re-used old flashings, didn't work to code and did very sloppy work, which resulted in at least one roof leak, usually more, every winter since then.
A neighboring complex had used Abney to re-roof their complex about the same time and have had no problems since. We had a proper roof inspection in 2020 where numerous major leak causing deficiencies were noted, especially around the chimneys. We asked the inspector for a roofing recommendation but he said it would be unethical of him to recommend someone and asked who we were considering. When I mentioned Abney, he said he'd inspected their work before, it was always high quality and that we wouldn't be disappointed, so we hired them and we definitely weren't.
Not only was Abney's work top notch, so is their scheduling and communication. You can always pick up the phone and call Mat or email him and you get a quick response. Their technicians are very skilled and efficient as well. We have absolutely no complains and will continue hire them for all our roof work.

I have been a loyal Abney Roofing customer for over 20 years. Abney always ensures my clients are taken care of, they are prompt, service level is exceptional and they don't over charge.

We encountered a sudden roof leak at our office building during a recent heavy downpour. Abney Roofing's response was truly remarkable. Within just 45 minutes of reporting the issue, their expert team was on-site to assess and address the problem.

Notably, the roofing technician identified an additional issue: a damaged roof latch, which was beyond the initial scope of their work. However, he went above and beyond, even in the pouring rain, to rectify this unforeseen problem.

I have used Abney Roofing for 30 years so I can say that their roofs stand the test of time. Abney Roofing is my go to contractor for roofing needs in the fraser valley and lower mainland. They provide detailed reports with photos that clearly explain the roofing issues which can sometimes be complicated matters.

I had Abney do 2 roofs on my residence and 2 roofs at another property. When they did the 2nd roof on my house, they also did other things I requested. One was installing a new bathroom fan. It has an automatic moisture sensor and timer. However, the electrician nor anyone else did NOT leave me the operation manual for the bathroom fan.

I spent 26,000 for this project, but they did not give me the manual or the tool that came with the fan, so I could adjust the moisture sensor.

It drove me nuts that the bathroom fan would NOT shut off. It went for hours and hours because the weather has been humid.

I phoned and asked for someone to tell me how to shut off the fan, but no one called. I called again, but no one answered the phone.

I went on the internet and figured out how to shut off the bathroom fan. However, for $26,000 one would think they would have given me the tool and manual.

The two senior roofers, Ryan and Blondie were very disrespectful. When they came, I said Hi, but they did not respond. Just looked at me.

I asked who was the foreman. On guy said: Me. I then had to ask his name. It was Ryan, but Blondie didn't give me his name. They simply ignored me like I was garbage.

One day when they were here, one of the guys purposefully and with force, slammed a bundle of shingles over the kitchen. From that day, my kitchen light would not work. I had to buy a new light fixture.

Another incident: One day I asked Ryan to pull out 4 bent nails from the new fescia board, but he refused, so I had to climb up a ladder and do it myself. One would think that for $26,000, they would have granted my small request. But, no, Ryan walked away.

One day Blondie was on the roof that overhangs my garage. This roof is just under the window where I was working on my computer. He started yelling at his female employee--chastising her. He treated her like garbage. Ryan and Blondie have no respect for women.

They installed my roof 25 years ago, and such a wonderful job that it's still going strong. They were recommended 25 years ago, and I would still recommend them to anyone today. Good service, reliable.

I've used Abney Roofing for 15 years +. Found them to be excellent roofers and continue to use them to this day. Well done guys.
