A-TEX Roofing

I really appreciated the customer service and workmanship of A-Tex roofing. They did a great job, left the worksight spotless and best of all now instead of dreading the rain and I can look forward to it because I am dry and won't incur any further damage. They really went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. Thank you, Mr. Cornish.

My parents have used A-Tex roofing a couple of times. They love the honesty and work A-Tex does. They had a leak from the rain we got prior to summer starting and had to wait for an adjuster to come out. They asked me to have A-Tex come out, as they were repairing the roof, they also noticed that even more of their roof was bad, unfortunately after A-Tex contacted the insurance adjuster, insurance wasn't going to pay for the rest of the roof. Mom and Dad just wanted the part repaired and will have A-Tex come back out when it is MUCH COOLER and replace the roof with a metal roof and be done with roofing issues.

Until the first good rain I will withhold my comments on the work done - However, it looks like everything was done very well and Robin was easy to deal with and responsive to my questions and requests.

Robin Cornish was on time, friendly and so was his crew. They made us feel confident that we were going to be satisfied. And we were above and beyond satisfied.

My wife and I needed an overview of our roof for our home refi. Called Robin, and he came out on time and walked the entire roof. He's very personable and friendly, and wrote up the required report for the appraisal, and fixed a few items at a very fair price while he was out here. I'd highly recommend Robin and his company. After a severe storm with heavy rain and high winds, part of the roof shingles on my rental house blew off opening a 8 foot long gap 1 inch wide for water to leak into the tenant’s bedroom. On Saturday afternoon I called A-Tex Roofing and left a message. Robin the Owner called me back and set up an appointment for the next day on Sunday afternoon after Church at 2:30 pm.

When Robin arrived, he looked at the roof damage and told me what needed to be done to repair the roof and gave me a fair price to fix the roof damage the next day. We discussed that the weather forecast predicted rain again later that same day at 7 pm. Robin was concerned about more serious roof leak damage and said he would go back to his shop and get the materials to temporarily fix the roof in about an hour, so the next rain that day would not further damage the tenant’s bedroom.

Robin came back in about an hour as promised, and while he was temporarily fixing the roof, YES it did start to rain lightly while he was on the roof.. He finished the temporary roof fix, which is WAY ABOVE The Call Of Duty and I have rated him Better Than A 5 Star Google Review.

I called A-Tex Roofing (San Marcos) and he came out the same day. He was kind and considerate. He saw the problem from the ground and quickly was on my roof, fixing the problem. He was thorough, fast and clean(picking up every screw and nail). Best of all, he did the work for a lot less than I thought it was going to cost. I highly recommend A-Tex to anyone in need roofing work with integrity.

I had hired A-Tex Roofing to repair the Concrete Tile roof and also Metal Roof. He was the one who could diagnose and repair both the roofs at a reasonable price.

Needed some sheets installed and fast. A Tex sure did his thing I highly recommend him for your go-to man to get the work you need to get done !

Over priced below average work for new metal roof, I would have been better off with a major roofing firm. I should have known, when he wanted to lay 1x4's on top of the shingle roof and attached the tin to the 1x4's that quality was lacking. The owner of A-Tex, Robin, misjudged how the drip line aligned with the gutter, his solution was to bend the metal roof down to make it work, sounded tacky and was worried how it would look, so had to pay $800 extra to pull the shingles off, which was a good move, lots of rotten decking. Repairing the decking is extra, which I understood, but then was charged $39 an hour PER Person for extra decking work, that fee was not called out on the contract, get all details in writing! I was out of town when he agreed to start the project and Robin didn't even call to let me know he was delaying the start of the job, communication was poor throughout. A-Tex reused my old roof vents, not standard from what I understand...install there looks very unprofessional according to another roofer. I'll likely have to get them replaced.
