We recently hired A.P. Malin & Co. for a complete kitchen and family room remodel, and the results are fantastic. Aaron and his team were incredible throughout the entire process. The goal was to open up the space, create an open-concept kitchen and family room, and update everything for a modern, functional living area. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome! We also wanted to update the kitchen with new cabinetry, countertops, and appliances while maintaining a flow that worked for our family and lifestyle. Aaron was excellent in keeping us updated throughout the entire process. We always knew what to expect and never felt out of the loop. He was also very receptive to any questions or changes we had, which made us know we were in good hands. Aaron’s superb team worked efficiently to stay on track and the project was completed on time, which we really appreciated. The quality of their work is top-notch. We also removed load-bearing walls which was a big job, but Aaron’s team executed it flawlessly. The new open space is absolutely stunning, and everything from the cabinetry to the flooring is perfectly done. The kitchen and family room now flow together seamlessly, making the whole area feel much larger and brighter. We are beyond thrilled with our new kitchen and family room. Aaron and his team exceeded our expectations, and the open-concept design has truly transformed the way we use and enjoy our home. Aaron and his team completed a number of major renovations for us inclusive of 2.5 bathrooms and kitchen. Project could not have gone better! Aaron was an extremely effective communicator, often reaching out to us daily. Work was done timely, neatly and professionally. Aaron demonstrated a keen attention to detail and often made recommendations that added value to the work. It was obvious from the beginning that Aaron and the team members he assembled care about the work they do and take great pride in the finished product. We could not be happier!

We needed to build out additional kitchen space that was a blank canvas and we had no idea where to start. Enter Aaron Malin. From the very first correspondence he was reliable, punctual, and super knowledgeable. He brought ideas to life that completely exceeded our expectations. He assembled a project that could not have gone smoother or quicker and kept us updated every step of the way. After a negative experience with a prior contractor, we met with Aaron and hired AP Malin & Co for a renovation. They came highly reccomended from neighbors and for good reason. We couldn't be more happy with the outcome of our project. Start to finish the communication, work quality and attention to detail from Aaron and his team was superb, just as promised. His subcontractors are all licensed and insured, doing things the right way from the start. Would not look anywhere else for home improvement and remodeling.

When my husband and I closed on our “fixer upper” we met with several contractors before deciding on A.P. Malin & Co. Being new to this experience, Aaron was so detailed and and kept us informed on every step along the way. He was very helpful in sharing his expertise when we had to pick out design options and fixtures that we’d be looking at/using for years to come. His work and crew were meticulous in all the projects we had for him (even the ones we kept adding because we were so pleased with his work)! After slowly upgrading nearly everything else in my 49 year old condo, the time finally came to tackle the kitchen. It's a small room but I was determined to do it right, because I will never have a second chance. Aaron was absolutely the right man for the job! The workmanship is top notch, and his crew was careful not to harm the new floors, walls, and baseboards in other rooms surrounding their worksite. They managed to install cabinets and appliances that are completely plumb and level in a room where no other surface is. The tight space meant there wasn't a centimeter to spare, but they fit everything in and the results are spectacular.

Above all, Aaron is the BEST communicator among all contractors anywhere! He is very clear about what he can do and what it will cost, and he delivers what he says he will. He can and will solve any problems that arise, and finishes the job with no drama - what a treat! I would recommend for any job, and will use him again if I ever have another project.

Aaron was great to deal with. We had water damage from a storm that required work on both levels of our home. Aaron was timely and helpful in explaining what was required and kept great contact through each step of the process. The whole team truly went above and beyond during the process from the initial leg work to completion. Our home looks better than when it was first built.

Aaron and his team did a great job remodeling our kitchen and wood floors. Always responsive to calls/texts/emails and worked with us through any changes we had. We look forward to calling him again for our next project.

We hired Aaron and his team to do a complete remodel of our Primary bathroom. Aaron made himself available and was responsive to every question we had from the first meeting all the way through to final completion of the project.

All of the workers who entered our home were professional and courteous. We felt very comfortable having them here (it was a big project, so we got to know a few of them, lol!).

The quality of the workmanship was excellent, and any issues were immediately corrected. We were so happy with how the bathroom went that we added refreshing the drywall and paint in our guest bathroom, plus a couple of ceilings in other rooms of the house. All were done with excellent quality and minimal disruption to our lives. With three of us working from home at all times, that was quite an accomplishment!

I wouldn't hesitate to hire A.P. Malin for any remodeling work we need in the future.

UPDATE 3/12/24 - We've since had a couple of small warranty issues pop up... one with an LED light that stopped working, and another a loose plumbing part. In both cases Aaron had someone out and fixed the problem immediately, at no charge, and with no fuss. Still very highly recommend!!

We recently had a total renovation done on a full bath and powder room. We were very pleased with their work and plan to use them for future projects. In addition to quality work that is done with great attention to detail, Aaron Malin excels at communication with his clients. My dog already misses him.

Aaron and his team did a phenomenal job on my home renovation this past summer. My wife and I were not sure 100% sure of what we wanted and didn’t quite realize what we were getting into. After a handful of quotes from various contractors, we were sold on Aaron. He was honest and genuine and I could sense the passion he had for his work.

I fully visualized now what we were getting into and Aaron helped us shape the dream home we’ve always wanted. We decided that we loved where we lived so much that instead of upgrading houses we would make this the best home possible. Aaron did not disappoint. I’m now not embarrassed to have people over and truly love living here. Taking down support walls and opening things up made it an amazing space for entertaining, which we promptly did for thanksgiving to much success.

I honestly don’t think I would have liked the outcome if anyone else had done the job. We had a few hiccups along the way as you would in any job and Aaron was quick to make it right. I can’t say enough about Aaron and his team. His finisher was also amazing. I never knew trim could be as contoured as it was. The level of professionalism and cleanliness his team has was unmatched.

If you are thinking about finishing your basement, I highly recommend you contact Aaron P. Malin because his team did an excellent job finishing our basement. Aaron provided courteous, honest, fair, and prompt responses to all of our questions. The workmanship was of high quality, the project was completed a week ahead of schedule; and we are delighted with our beautiful new downstairs exercise space, wet bar, bathroom, and office.

We hired Aaron and his team for our kitchen and hardwood flooring remodel and we were absolutely thrilled with the experience and results. He was on estimate and schedule. He was there every day he said they would be. The team was fast, great to work with, and CLEAN!. You wouldn't even know they were in the house working at the end of the day. The attention to detail and craftsmanship was amazing. We had a few issues with cabinet orders that delayed the job, but Aaron worked around the issues and kept the project moving. We were blown away with the final results and could not be happier. We will be calling Aaron back for our next project.

Aaron and his crew were great from start to finish. He came out and gave a fair estimate within a couple days of us first contacting him. He was able to squeeze us in to his schedule and was very responsive throughout the process as we were also coordinating with the countertop fabricator. Aaron even came out on a Saturday morning and installed our faucet just so we could get water back in the kitchen as soon as possible. We could tell Aaron really cared about the finishing details as much as we did. We would definitely recommend Aaron and will be hiring him again for other projects in the future!

I needed two kitchen cabinets installed and one cabinet moved, glass shower doors removed, and some interior painting done. I contacted about 10 contractors, most of whom said they were too busy, and two others who quoted me unreasonable prices. Aaron was the only one who came to my home to look at the job before he gave me a quote. I needed the jobs done within a few weeks and he and his crew were able to meet that timeframe. They did excellent work, cleaned up everything before they left, and were finished on schedule. I highly recommend A.P. Malin & Co. for any construction needs. They proved to be reliable, skilled, and detail oriented.

Aaron and his team are hands down the absolute best. They are timely, professional and respectful. It can be hard to have contractors in your house everyday for weeks, especially when you work from home, but Aaron’s team was quiet, clean and so easy to have around. His team excels at communication, and they all kept us in the loop every step of the way. There were also some issues with our cabinets we would have never noticed if it wasn’t for their exemplary attention to detail. They were also extremely kind to my very skittish dogs! Highly recommend .

We did a master bathroom remodel and added in a walk-in closet. We cannot say enough good things about our experience with Aaron and his team! We went from a barely functional stall shower to a beautiful en-suite. You can tell his crew is carefully vetted, and the professionals he brings into the job are wonderful. We're already scoping out our next project for the spring!

Things that mattered to me when finding a renovation partner:
* Personal pride in work - Aaron is very detailed oriented and helps you think through every aspect of the project, and when things need to adjust on the fly, talks you through your options so that you can make informed choices. We had unexpected subfloor damage from a botched bath fitter job, and Aaron's knowledge got us through it (and kept me calm in the process!). Not only is my bathroom now gorgeous, it is SAFE!

* Focused on the project at hand - the first place I interviewed tried to upsell me a vision $20k out of my preferred price point with embellishments or features my family did not need. Aaron listened to my scope / design and even talked me out of things that I was considering that would have been extra.

* Trust - Aaron's team is the type you can trust with keys to the house - they even became friends with the dog and our kiddos, who would yell "here comes Mr. Aaron!" when they saw his truck pull up.

If your reading this review, call him, there isn’t anyone better for the job, when it comes to quality, reliability, and price. Aaron and his team are the best! Just did a kitchen remodel and our kitchen is unrecognizable! We are very happy with our new Kitchen!!

We were so happy with Aaron’s renovation of our house. It’s rare to find a contractor who cares about the workmanship and work with clients to resolve issues that may come up. He’s detail oriented and on budget (slightly over but that’s due to additional tasks we added) and time. Aarons crew were efficient and neat. Our renovation involved expanding and basically double a master bedroom with new everything to combining 2 bedrooms into a master bedroom suite. But there were many small jobs in every room of the house from plumbing to electrician to painting to wallpaper to redoing the deck to installing gigantic 3 panel door for sunroom etc. all tasks were dealt with on the checklist. Not only is Aaron’s crew excellent ,the few other experts he recommended n hired whether it’s the tile guy or the wallpaper installer or the shower glass installer were all excellent and fair priced. They were neat and leave the working areas immaculate.
I called up 10 general contractors and met with 5 and I was so glad to have selected and use Aaron for our project. Highly highly recommended and we are quite picky with our standards and had dealt with house and apartment renovations before. All of our friends who have visited the house are all impressed with the workmanship, and we had been thoroughly enjoying the house! Thanks, Aaron!
