I had the absolute best experience with A. Dorsey Construction and Remodeling! Andrew was professional and knowledgeable, eager to listen to my ideas and concerns, and effectively able to provide feedback and advice while both planning my remodeling project and throughout the entire project.

Virginia was amazing! She was also very open to hearing my ideas and concerns and would always respond in a timely manner, offering me suggestions and support as I searched for and selected the products I needed for the remodel.

Every single person that came to my house to complete this project was professional and courteous. And a huge THANK YOU to Edwin and Oscar… you guys were great and very skilled at your trades!

Drew went above and beyond on a major
home renovation for us. Our project was
particularly difficult because it was on an island that can only be reached by small boats or over ice in the winter. Drew did both. It was a Herculean job and Drew kept up on both the quality and the timeline. When subcontractors
balked at the idea of coming to the island, Drew did not make excuses, he and his guys showed up and got the work done without skipping a beat or sacrificing quality. He was
in constant contact throughout the entire project, and was able to deliver a stunning renovation even through all the obstacles of Covid.
I honestly can't thank or recommend him
enough.

i was very disappointed in Dorsey's work. The carpentry was so shoddy that my painter could not paint until I had another carpenter come and fix some of the poor, uneven work. Andrew said he'd be on the job every day, when in fact he was almost never available at all. His crew didn't install a single piece of wood straight or plumb. For my job, they cut pieces in the middle, attached them unevenly, seemed to use scrap wood in places, and even left the building leaning slightly to one side. Dorsey doesn't specify materials on his proposal and then uses cheap and subpar materials (his roofing subcontractor told me Dorsey was using the worst possible underlayment), including materials inappropriate for exterior work. Once the job started, he focused only on profit and on rushing, with zero concern for quality.

I would absolutely recommend A.Dorsey Construction to anyone who wants their home remodeled for any project big or small. They were so easy to work with, super quick responses and provided a very thorough and honest estimate. Andrew’s team came in and worked hard to transform our kitchen into a more open and family oriented space. We look forward to inviting them back for more updates and remodels to our home in the future. We are truly so happy with their work.

I highly recommend Andrew Dorsey Construction & Remodeling. Andrew and the ADCR team completed a very ambitious and wide-ranging renovation of our lake house on Big Pond in Otis (MA) over several months last year. The project also included a complete rebuild of a washhouse that included a new bathroom. Other highlights of this project included: (1) a home expansion; (2) major carpentry work; (3) installation of a new kitchen; (4) bathroom renovation and water heater installation; (5) re-siding the entire home; (6) rebuilding the entire front porch; (7) installation of new windows throughout the house; and (8) building a new porch for our bunk house. The results of Andrew’s hard work greatly exceeded our expectations.

Moreover, our house is in a location that is very difficult to access, requiring a major amount of logistics work by Andrew to ensure that his crew and supplies were safely and properly positioned at all times. We deeply appreciate Andrew’s willingness to take on this additional challenge. Andrew was the ultimate professional throughout the project and even made the extra effort to kept us regularly up to date on progress (with Virginia’s great help) as we are located several hundred miles away. We deeply appreciate the work of Andrew and his team as our “new” home will help our family continue to create summer memories for many decades to come.
