A-1 replaced a portion of my flat roof in October 2019. I am in the process of getting estimates to replace the larger area and have heard from multiple roofers just how bad a job they did - no wonder it still leaks. They charged me 3,165. for something that I will now have to get redone. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I gave them 1 star because I had to give them a star to submit - otherwise it would have been 0 stars.

When I first spoke to Greg at A-1 I was very happy to be working with a small, family owned company as I haven't had very good luck with the major companies. Greg was very nice, came out and spent time looking over the project. We spoke about a week later when he gave me an official quote, said paperwork would be in the mail that week, and gave me a rough timeline when the job would happen. After a week went by I hadn't received any paperwork in the mail. I called Greg. He assured me the paperwork was in the mail and gave more more certain dates for the work to begin. Again a week went by and no paperwork came. The day the work was scheduled to start came and went. About two days after I tried called Greg directly on his cell, then also the office number. No answers or responses. Finally, the next week I reached the office number who informed me they had been out of town - and the lady who I spoke to was a bit defensive when I explained the situation. She said Greg would call me, which he didn't. I tried both numbers about a week later to no avail and finally gave up. When I later got a quote from another company I realized that what A-1 quoted for my job was more than triple what it should be. In my opinion, A-1 was very unprofessional and dishonest.
