We hired Landmark Exteriors to replace ALL the windows and a side door on our home. We couldn’t be happier with their service and products. The team we worked had great communication and were very detailed. The installers and painters did an amazing job and kept the work area clean when the job was completed. We love the new updated look of our home!

My wife and I contracted with Landmark Exteriors to replace 15 windows. Landmark estimated it would take 3.5 days for the work to be completed. The job took only 3 days. The installers were prompt and professional. They were very highly skilled. The installers built a new bay window from scratch to replace my old bay window. All the work was done in a neat and tidy manner. The painters came in on day 3 for touch up and to match the exterior window frames with my house color. Clean up was done every day as the work progressed. You could not tell that major construction had occurred on the house. No debris was left behind. My wife and I are very happy with Landmark and we will use them again for new projects.

From the salesman, to the installers to the painter painting the interior trim, everyone did a great job on our window installation.

We had a dozen old interior windows replaced. Their price was competitive with other quotes and we saw solid reviews before hiring them. Their estimate of time frame was conservative as the windows came in a few weeks early. Their installers did a great job installing all windows in one day with nice craftsmanship and left everything as clean as it was when they arrived.

We had landmark install two balcony doors for us and they both were installed Incorrectly! The rooms kept being cold in the winter and we noticed air come through. They sent out a rep that told us that the whole door needs to be reinstalled come spring. We called in the spring just to find out that the sales rep, installers and the technician that came out to inspect were no longer there. They never bother to revisit tried any adjustments ANYTHING!! They just blew us off!!We called Andersen windows and doors they came out multiple times tried different approaches/adjustments. And it comes down to the frame being installed improperly therefore the doors can’t seal right! We are getting a ton of wind coming through. This should not be the case after spending near 15k on balcony doors!! Landmark took the money and ran! Shady business! I would think twice before hiring!

Yet again we DO NOT HAVE INTERNAL BLINDS! It shows right there that you guys don’t even have your stuff together! ( we have emailed proof photos to Noah and Kelly) No second visit was initiated EVER by Landmark! As a matter of fact no one would pick up a phone calls from us for months! My husband drove to the place of Bussiness and he still got blown off!
No free inspections were offered as stated! We actually paid the manufacturer to sent their technicians out!
Andersen windows and doors has visited multiple times trying to figure out the problem! The whole frame is installed incorrectly preventing the door from sealing properly! ( they put a leveler to the side of the door frame and the frame is slanted!) you guys would have known that if you actually came out and revisited but you haven’t!

Be warned! I have read an older review where somebody had the same experience with this company!

Landmark Exteriors staff and management were professional and responsive throughout the process of selecting and installating our new roof and gutters. Paul was especially helpful during a difficult time for our family. I wholeheartedly recommend their company for any home improvement needs.

OUTSTANDING! Service and support was awesome from introduction to project completion. It is extremely rare in this day and age to have such an experience with contracted projects. Total professionalism and care were displayed. Every step of the process of replacing my entire front doorway and back door was carried out with timelines and precision. I have not one complaint and they will be my first choice for future projects!

LandMark Exteriors did an amazing job siding our home. We chose James Hardie siding and the process from choosing the siding, prep, installation, to job completion and inspection by the project manager, was completed in days and made a huge project for us easily manageable.

We solicited bids from three installers; Pella, Renewal by Andersen (aggressive sales pitch) and Landmark. The Libertyville Landmark was responsive, knowledgeable, efficient and very neat. This was a big decision for us, replacing windows throughout our home. We are here for the long haul and consider Landmark a good value based on window quality and their customer service throughout the process. We certainly appreciate the respectful, fun relationship we've enjoyed with the salesperson, installers and owners of this service-centric business.

Landmark was great - crew was hardworking and took care of the few surprises seamlessly. Support team was very detailed and customer centric. Lastly, my house looks so much better even better than I anticipated. Extremely satisfied.

LandMark Exteriors (LE) installed new roofing on our house in Fall 2024. The previous shingles were damaged by hail and were GAF TimberLine shingles in Pewter Gray.

Although our contract originally specified the use of GAF TimberLine IR (Impact Resistant) shingles, GAF informed LandMark that production of their IR shingles was suspended due to high demand for other shingle products. LE's John Long quickly informed us of this situation & of the various options for other brands of IR shingles. We then selected CertainTeed IR shingles within a day to keep the project on track.

On 10-23-2024, the LE crew installed our new roof with CertainTeed (CT) NorthGate ClimateFlex AR (Algae Resistant) & IR (Impact Resistant) shingles in Georgetown Gray color. This project also used CT WinterGuard waterproof underlayment, CT DiamondDeck synthetic underlayment, CT SwiftStart starter shingles, & CT ShadowRidge ridge shingles and GAF Cobra SnowCountry Advanced ridge vent. The team tore off our old shingles & installed the new roofing materials within 8 hours !!!

They also removed our disused furnace exhaust stack (from our original low efficiency furnace) & replaced the resulting hole in the original plywood roof deck with new plywood. Our Broan NuTone exhaust vents (for our bath exhaust fans) were also replaced with new exhaust vents.

The LE crew was friendly, competent, & fast !!! Afterward, they cleaned up all of the debris so well that our yard was cleaner than before !!!

My wife & I were so happy with the roofing project that we also contracted with LE for new siding & gutters. I will describe that in another review.

LE's showrooms are located in nearby Libertyville & Long Grove, so we could easily visit them. LE team members also visited our house for measurements prior to contract proposal.

We have used LandMark Exteriors for several window installations and a sliding glass door. Our last project was two large windows, first floor and second floor. We did go out for competitive quotes, Renewal by Anderson and Home Depot. All companies quoted basically the same product. LandMark had a very competitive quote, and since we used them in the past, we felt comfortable going with LandMark.
As always, everything went off without a hitch. Everyone came on time on the day they they said the would would be here. The windows came in early which was plus. The installers were great, super clean up after the job. We have an exterior door project coming up soon. Our first and last stop will be LandMark. No need for other quotes.

We had such a good experience with Jeremy and his team at Landmark...they were very professional, responsive, and the end result was wonderful. Highly recommend them!

LandMark replaced several windows in our house. Landmark's office staff were easy to work with and proactively kept us updated throughout the project. Their installers were courteous and respectful of our home. The experience was professional, business-like and drama-free.

The Landmark team was fantastic throughout our front door replacement. Our old door was original to the home: wooden, non standard size, and arched. After twenty years of direct sunlight, it was overdue for a replacement. We worked with Jeremy who guided us through the whole process. He helped us choose our door, provided multiple quotes, and made two house calls to walk us through color samples. The installation was one day and the team left the house cleaner than they found it. They also helped to remove the archway in our entrance. Our new door looks gorgeous and has insulated the foyer from drafts and sunlight.

We recently had Landmark Exteriors replace two large windows in our home, and once again, they did an outstanding job! This wasn't our first time working with them—previously, they replaced several other windows—and each experience has been fantastic.

From start to finish, everyone we interacted with, including the owners, office staff, estimators, installers, and painters, was incredibly professional and thorough. The team worked efficiently and made sure every detail was handled with care. The windows look amazing, and the quality of the installation exceeded our expectations.

We had one of our windows crack a year after Landmark installed it and it only took a phone call, completing a form online with pictures of the cracked window and they handled everything else. Our new window was replaced in a couple of weeks. 10/10 customer service. I wish all companies had customer service like this.

Landmark Exteriors is awesome!! Great service and customer service. Had windows and doors installed last year and we had an issue with our storm door. Luis came out and fixed the issue. Overall great company and will be using more of them in the future!!

Working with Landmark was one of the easiest decisions I've ever made. First off, I saved a bunch of money going through them (literally 30% cheaper than local competitors) Second, my roof was completely replaced within three weeks from when I signed the contract. Landmark tackled a major project in removing my old Dry-vit siding and replacing it with Hardie board, along with gutters, facia and soffits. All looks great and they met every challenge my house and lot presented. Professional and conscientious crew - so impressed with how hard they all worked. Highly recommended!

My husband and I contacted Landmark for a quote to replace 5 windows. We had the pleasure of working with Bill S and the Libertyville office staff. Bill is knowledgeable and doesn’t give a high pressure sales pitch like other window replacement companies.

After meeting with Bill at our home for a consultation, we met him at the showroom to pick out our windows. We chose the Marvin Infinity line and couldn’t be happier with the product quality and installation.

The Libertyville office staff was great at keeping us apprised of the timeline from order to installation. The Installation crew was fantastic and respectful of property. The showroom was big plus as well. And kudos again to Bill S for NOT giving us a high pressure sales pitch.

LandMark Exteriors installed new doors that lead out to my patio. It was quite easy to work with them and I have no issues whatsoever with the install. It's not inexpensive, I went with a local provider but you get what you pay for. Overall, a good job installing the new doors.

i am absolutely in LOVE with our Provia Signet door that we had done by Landmark. every time i walk by it i tell myself and my husband how it was money very well spent and it brings me happiness to look at! they installed it quickly, carefully, and neatly. we had our patio door done by another company and i have hated it since it was put in. oh well. the front door makes up for it! Pete came to our appointment and after a short conversation, he knew exactly what i was looking for. he showed me other options just to be sure but we ended up going with the initial “mock up” he put together and it came out even better than i expected. will absolutely use Landmark again in the future as soon as I can convince my husband that we need to replace all of the windows in our house..!

Outstanding! We ordered 15 Marvin windows from LandMark Exteriors, and are very happy with the results.

Pete (Sales) didn't pester us during the sale and worked diligently to accurately understand our needs and document the order.

John and Paul came out to confirm measurements and details, and we had no issues at all with the windows when they arrived.

Mike and Adrian did an absolutely perfect job of installing - so thrilled with their attention to detail and consideration of us while they worked.

Lester meticulously put the final touches on the job by painting the interior windows and trim. Very nice work.

Throughout the entire project our expectations were met or exceeded. So much so that I stopped by to thank the owners personally.

I received 4 vendor bids for Marvin Infinity Windows and Doors. Landmark was on the higher end of the quotes but by far the most detailed and thorough. The salesperson, Jimmy, was very professional and knew his stuff. The other salespeople we met with seemed rushed and quite honestly a little pushy. We are confident in our decision and looking forward to working with the Landmark Team. I will post again upon installation.

We had a great overall experience with Landmark Exteriors. From the initial site evaluation, ordering, scheduling, installation and final trim painting, all was a 1st Class experience.

The crew who installed the siding were professional, meticulous, cleaned up the site every day and were very respectful. The siding looked fantastic and we were overall pleased with our decision.

Landmark did window replacement on my home (29 of them), and I have nothing but good things to say about the crew, the install, and the Pro Via replacement windows.

LandMark installed exterior bifold doors when we renovated our deck. In the several years since, they've been attentive to sporadic maintenance and repairs. Recently they managed a more complex repair for us that took a lot of communication with the manufacturer to get the appropriate part, and went above and beyond by providing additional maintenance while onsite. Noah and Kelly are a pleasure to work with, and Luis is a gem onsite who shows up on time and is polite, thorough and kind.

Our project with LandMark was uneventful. I mean that in a good way. We replaced the original Pella patio door in our 50+ year-old home with a Marvin patio door. Pete "Ski" came out and discussed options and emailed us quotes based on our conversation. We stopped by the showroom in Long Grove to see the doors and the folks in the showroom were helpful.

After, we decided on a door, Paul, an owner, came out to the house several times to get measurements and stain samples. Paul is a nice guy. During these short visits, he discussed his business and philosophy which I liked.

The late Dec. installation went well and everything is fine with the new door. I was thinking one day that no one from LandMark contacted me after the installation and it disappointed me because everything went so well. Later that same day, I received an email from LandMark asking how the project went and if I had any issues. What a coincidence!

I had what Landmark considered to be a "small job" (replace all of the fascia on my condo building). They were able to squeeze us in as soon as the material was available. They did a great job and the finished product looks amazing! Highly recommend!

We bought Marvin windows which are great. While they were being installed, I noticed that they were not removing the old counter weights and insulating the pockets. When I questioned the installer he did not know what I was talking about. So I called the office and they sent someone out to make sure they knew what to do and they reinstalled the 5 windows that were done before I caught them doing wrong. When the supervisor was leaving I asked if I needed to watch them install each window to make sure they did it right. He said that they would take a picture of each instialation showing that the pocket was insulated. I never got the pictures and I have made 3 phone calls and I still don't have them. Now I just have to hope they did it right because there is no way to see after the windows are installed.

We recently moved to a new home leaving behind our wonderful Landmark doors and windows so it was an easy decision when we wanted to replace our front door in our new home who to call. We have always been impressed with the level of service that John and his staff bring to any project. We LOVE our new front door. Thanks again for another successful Landmark project.

We just had a new front door installed at our home. The ProVia door quality is wonderful and Landmark maintained good communication throughout the process from ordering thru installation. The installer even found that our original door handle had a manufacturing defect in it (not Landmarks issue) so Landmark sent it back and gave us a new one free of charge from the manufacturer. We appreciated the attention to detail on finding the issue without us noticing it first, and they were quick to answer all my questions. Would highly recommend this company for your exterior work!

Everything went well from the initial showroom visit until the install. Extra credit to the installers. Those guys worked hard, they were very respectful, and did the job in one day vs a planned two day install. I’m sure at some point one wonders about the people who actually do the install work, and again, this group was top notch.

We have used Landmark Exteriors to replace 2 patio doors and a window. All three times we have used them they have been professional, responsive and accommodating. Their product is quality and installation professional. Their prices were competitive. We would not call anyone else.

I had a wonderful experience with Landmark from the beginning to install. Kate was the best, thorough, professional. The process was great. The windows were sub par, my first Winter I had gaps, poor weather stripping all around and the manufacturer will not replace the weather stripping. Had the same weather stripping issue with the slider. I do not recommend their ProVia product
