A-1 roofing came out to my house and did some repairs . A-1 Roofing and Remodeling puts the customer first and stand by their work. I trust A-1 Roofing and Remodeling and would recommend them to anybody.
I was sent the estimate for my roofing job and on the estimate it included the entire job from shingles to finishes required by codes but then that final estimate was changed and increased by $800. This job was done as part of the sell of my decreased parents’ home and I feel they turned out not to be the people/person they professed to be. I would never recommend this company to anyone living in the area.
Install was done well and clean up excellent. However, when the job was quoted I asked if it included items to bring the roof up to code such as drip edge and any crickets at chimneys as needed. He said yes. Then when the workers finished the installation, I noticed there was no drip edge. I called the company, same gentleman that quoted and he said “it was not included and an additional $800 is owed to do that, that it’s not really needed.” I know that drip edge has been in building code since 2012 and I inquired about it at the time of the quote. I didn’t authorize it being installed due to the additional cost, but the company did it anyway and sent me a bill for $800 more than the quote. Bottom line, great install of shingles, great cleanup, poor customer service and plan to pay more than quoted. I will not recommend or use this company.
