Good experience with Mr. Dawes and his company. We hired them to replace our roof. Completed project in a timely manner, cleaned up behind themselves well, and very honest/transparent about any issues they found outside of the normal repair/replace.

We had our roof replaced several years ago where existing flashing was not replaced. We didn’t notice any leaks in ‘normal’ rain storms, but a leak in our ceiling above a bay window during a hurricane was observed. The roofer we used had gone out of business by that time, and another roofer we called as a ‘preferred provider’ said it’s probably just from a ‘one off’ from the hurricane and nothing to worry about. Found a water leak when hitting the flashing in using a ‘hose test.’ Covid had hit where it was hard to get anyone to come out for a ‘small job’ that was reasonably priced, or roofers weren’t able to match GAF Timberline shingles. Lots of tar and caulk didn’t prevent a leak in other storms, and something had to be done after the most recent storms. A friend had high praise for 3D Roofing & Exteriors. John quickly returned my call, came out the next day and provided an estimate, and reached out in followup calls and texts. I didn’t have to front a down payment, and the repair was completed within a week after initially talking to John. Also spoke to Shayne about a warranty for the work since the leak doesn’t happen with every storm. I could name some roofers we called where you’ve probably seen their signs in front of houses. The best advertisement is customer referrals. I found 3D to be reasonably priced, quick to respond, responsive to my calls and texts, and happy with the work they completed.

John Smale came out to my house after the company that installed my roof 3 years ago, and have had 2 leaks so far, said that my 10 yr labor warranty was void due to not having a yearly inspection last year. He fixed the issue at no charge and is honest. I will definitely use this company in the future!

I had found a leak in my roof late on 7 Aug, when the hurricane was bringing in all of the rain. I called Shane from 3D Roofing and he was super quick to respond. I send him some photos and he was out to my house the next morning. Turns out it was a nail that had worked it's way up, out, and through the shingles that was causing the leak. He patched up the leak. I was very happy with the service and professionalism I received.

Shayne answered after hours and scheduled an emergency roof repair first thing the following morning. He gave me advice on how to mitigate the leaking roof damaging the house interior. He was friendly and professional. It was raining out but he went right to work. He immediately saw the problem and went to correct it. He was very quick and thorough and showed me pictures of what was wrong and why it was wrong, and how he fixed it. He gave me some tips about how to move ahead with an insurance claim. After a recommendation, I called Shayne this morning to get an estimate on putting a chimney cap on our chimney. He came out and measured, and then he came back about an hour later and actually installed a chimney cap for us. Reasonable price, and you certainly couldn't ask for any faster service!!

Hiring 3D Roofing was indeed a great decision. I am going to try to be as succinct as possible, while still giving an honest and thorough account of my experience with this company.

BACKGROUND: I am a single woman who purchased my very first home a few years ago. Due to recent hail and wind storms, I noticed that quite a bit of shingles had blown off my roof. I went online and looked up roofing companies in my area and hence began the process.

THE EXPERIENCE: I knew absolutely nothing about what this process entailed, but I reached out to 3D Roofing to provide an estimate. My appointment was set for 8am two days later. That morning, at 0754, John arrived to give me an evaluation of my damage. He was polite and very professional. After climbing on the roof and accessing the damage, he told me what his findings were, and what the next step would be, in the event I decided to hire them. What I appreciated the most about our encounter was that he did not try to oversell or pressure me to hire him.

After an appointment with John and my insurance adjuster, a complete replacement was approved, and it was time to begin working on my roof. John assured me that he would be able to get me scheduled within a week and he delivered.

The Team was AMAZING!!! They arrived promptly on the morning I was scheduled and immediately got to work. These guys arrived at 7am and by 11am, they were done with the entire back of the house. This included, removing the old shingles and underlayment, replacing it with new underlayment and shingles, and cleaning up. Due to weather restrictions (rain), the front of my house was completed two days later.

One thing that stood out to me was the integrity of this company. The gutter on the front of my house got bent, and I would not have noticed had John not pointed it out. He assured me that he would have the gutter replaced and again he delivered!!!

Shane and his crew showed up early that morning and went straight to work. He was very knowledgeable about what kind of shingles i was going need to replace my old ones. I had a lot of damage to my roof do to wind and water from a hurricane. I havent had any issues with my roof since he replaced it and that was over 5 years ago. They were very good about keeping all the nails and shingles out of the yard and gutters. I highly recommend 3D Roofing and exteriors. I also had some siding issues that needed repair from all the wind and they fixed those as well, while the roof was being put on.

Very professional crew. Only issue was some paint of rain deflectors and some chalk line residue on facia which is no big deal. Would use again.

I couldn’t be happier with this company. I was pleased with everything. I saw some men working on an old house and stopped for number to get some work done at my house. John called me back the same day I left message, came to look at my house the next, got me a very reasonable quote within 24 hours and scheduled me in the next week. They did house, detached garage and pump house. They did all the repairs necessary plus a couple extra requests. My roof looks great. All the workers were kind and hard working. I got stung by a wasp while watching them work and one came right over with some spray for my sting. Price was great and I already have warranty paperwork from the manufacturer. Highly recommend!!

August 2022 John Smale stopped by my house , he was working in my neighborhood. He pointed out my roof was damaged and the shingles were defective (part of a class action lawsuit). To me the roof looked fine. (BUT I WAS WRONG). My neighbor who owne's the other side of the duplex came out and joined us. He roof was inworse shape than mine.
So John had me and my neighbor call out Insurance companies we both did, The claim cover most of the new roof. Thank goodness.
On the 25 th of August the crew came and worked that Thursday thru Saturday . It was 92 degrees out and the humidity was 88 %, Awful miserable weather but the crew worked on the roof in spite of that. They were very careful with plantings and keeping them safe. They had Sunday off and came back Monday 29 th to finis up. What a great job they did too.
The crew cleaned up all the mess and left the place very neat and clean. My next door neighbor who is the former president of the HOA liked the work and clean up that was done. I am gratful to Mr Smale and his crew.
Now if you need a new roof I think you would be very happy with 3 D Roofing & Exteriors. I recommend them 100%. Hank Naylor
