Tom is professional and thorough. He identified potential structural issues in a new home construction that will be addressed by the builder. I can remember a time when I felt that a new home shouldn’t require an inspection but this is not true. The rapid building and the use of varying degrees of skilled labor results in many issues that are not so obvious to an untrained eye. Tom’s knowledge and skill have proven to be invaluable to us.

Recke, ACI !! He did the home inspection, termite inspection, and tested for radon. Thomas found an extensive list of problems with the brand new home. His report was clear and user friendly to point out what needs to be fixed and why, with industry standard references! We have requested of the seller to have him back out to re-inspect to ensure that everything is fixed correctly. As it is a brand new home, we will be having him out a third time to do infrared testing and a warranty inspection to catch anything that comes up before the home warranty expires. Highly recommend 3 Arrows Property Inspection. They are excellent at every level: customer service, level of knowledge, services offered, scheduling, attention to detail, getting what you pay for, and the report that goes to the seller will make a difference!!

UPDATE: We thank God for Thomas and pray for many blessings for 3 Arrows and the Recke family! In the process of buying a home, we felt the push to make a bad decision from almost every side and buy a home with significant issues. Ultimately, God led us to walk away. Thomas was the only reliable and neutral party in the process. His knowledge and extremely thorough process was the only earthly influence to help us make the right decision. Thomas is absolutely outstanding. I've been a General Contractor for a few decades now. My dad built houses, his dad built houses, I've built hundreds of houses over the years, so I'm very familiar with all the components of a building. I can honestly say I have never met a home inspector as thorough and as knowledgeable as Thomas Recke. He very often catches things that most other home inspectors miss. He said that he did not want input initially from us in order to not bias his inspection. Very impressive. We liked that he did everything possible to maintain objectivity. His report was written in order of "most pressing / dangerous issues" continuing down to "no issues". The written report included excellent professional references for best practices. 3 Arrows did a very thorough inspection of the new house that I am buying in Spring Hill, TN. They spent a considerable amount of time on site, and wrote an exhaustive report. The report included a summary of items requiring attention which was well-received by the developer/seller. The report also included information about the type of construction and construction materials that were used in the building of the house. Also provided was a list of various venders (HVAC, plumbing, etc.) for future reference. The inspection was definitely worth the expense.

Tom goes into every little detail of a house to make sure that it’s all the way it should be. He’s done two inspections for us and they were both very thorough… and he’s a lot of fun to be around!

We did have Thomas do another inspection for us, hopefully this one will go through. We appreciate the thoroughness of Thomas's work and his expertise, some people may not like it, we have no one else to compare him to, and honestly, if Thomas is more picky than most, I would choose Thomas over any other any day of the week, even if the seller doesn't agree with all things that Thomas finds. I'd rather be aware of issues or even possible issues down the road then go into a purchase thinking a house is perfect.
