Nate and his team at 1st Colorado Roofing did an excellent job replacing a damaged roof along with some other leaking issues that were caused by faulty flashing on a swamp cooler. Nate is very professional and punctual and I will recommend him and his team to anyone that is looking for a roofer.

We needed to have our roof repaired from hail damage. 1st Colorado was recommended by our insurance company. They arrived as scheduled and gave us a quote in a timely manner. This included roof replacement, new gutters, 1 window replacement and home painting. As mentioned the quality of the work that has been done is fair.

While the company does claim to be a "1 stop shop" they subbed out the pain and windows to different companies, all of whom appear to not talk to each other. 1st Colorado wasn't even aware of how much I was paying for paint.

I am still waiting on getting the window replaced. This have been a very painful and slow process with almost zero communication from the window company. They came out and measured 7/21/23 and as I write this in April 2024 it is still not done. I am not convinced that it will ever get done because they wont call you back ever. This makes me nervous because I am paid in full and when I paid the majority of the insurance money to 1st Colorado communication greatly fell off.

Now on to the cost. I do not feel that this company was upfront with out of pocket expenses. When all was said and done I paid almost $8,000 out of pocket for "Add ons". Down spouts, gutters, paint, etc. $2,500 of that was my deductible but still seems quite steep. I take responsibility for not asking more questions but I feel that they skirted around this issue.

Will give an update if the window get replaced. Overall I would recommend the company, just ask them to be honest with their pricing and timelines.

I am so impressed with 1st Colorado Roofing and especially Evan Riddell. We were in a situation where we had to get a new roof on in what was probably an unrealistic timeframe. Evan took the time to understand what we needed and why, he worked his schedule around to meet with our insurance company, he was very knowledgeable and walked us through the process and what to expect. If you are getting a full new roof they are fine and will respond, as we had one done a few years ago. BUT, now we need some flashing repaired on the roof of our new house. After reaching out to Nick three times he finally responded and said he would get back to me within a week with a quote, then never followed up. I reached out two more times after this to see if he was able to get an estimate for me, with no response. I have now reached out five times… Looks like this company has no interest in customer service or customer retention, and won’t even respond to a request for a smaller job even when they have already gotten paid for a full roof from me once…Terrible.

Being a relatively new homeowner, I’ve found it’s incredibly rare to find a company that is reliable, efficient, communicative, and professional—1st CO roofing was just that and more. They came in to help us with tile damage/replacement and not only did Evan and his team do a great job, but the entire process from start to finish was absolutely seamless. 10/10 would highly recommend (I will be using them for any/all roof related issues moving forward)

1st Colorado Roofing was a great company to work with. They replaced my roof following extensive hail damage. Evan was very accommodating of my work schedule and was able to meet with me before and after normal work hours. He was also always right on time and I never had to sit around waiting for anyone. Evan coordinated everything with my homeowners insurance, which made it very easy for me. And he made sure that I would not be responsible for costs beyond my deductible, which I really appreciated. He also didn't take any payment from me until after I received all of the money from my insurance. They replaced the roof in essentially one day and it looks great. They also did an excellent job of cleaning up the debris, not only from my yard, but my neighbors' yards as well. I highly recommend them!

We found shingles in the yard and had 1st Colorado Roofing to inspect damage, Evan took the ball from start to finish and kept the Insurance estimater aware of code upgrades and missing costs, glad to have his insight on my side. Nick provided an accurate estimate for the job and was excellent at communicating with us about the installation date and minor details associated with inspections. The team tore off the old roof and installed the new roof in one day. Our home/yard was protected with tarps during installation and cleaned extremely well at the end of the day. Dallas Green at 1st Colorado Roofing worked with us to install four new skylights. We were impressed throughout. Dallas worked with us to get the work scheduled in coordination with other work on our project and was good to communicate with during the process. Pricing was fair and honest. We actually asked if it would be worth replacing the roof on the whole half of the house, but Dallas said they wouldn't need to disturb that much area, and that our existing roof had enough life left such that it wouldn't be a good economic decision for us. Then, when one of the skylights stopped working as the result of a manufacturing defect, 1st Colorado Roofing returned to replace a part and check the installation at no additional cost even though they had installed everything correctly the first time. Highly recommend this roofing company and will use them again.

Eric, Dallas, and their crew did an excellent job tearing off our old roof and putting on our new roof. We have a complicated roof structure with an attached garage, a two story main house with a fireplace and a built on addition to the back of the house with three skylights. Eric and Dallas went over all the details with us ahead of time and anticipated all of the roofing issues in their quote. The work was completed in a day and the site was left cleaner than before they started. We are 100% satisfied!!!

They keep calling me and asking for a person who is not me. No matter how often I tell them that they have the wrong number. I have not been looking for roofing service or caring about a roof issue in Colorado, if I ever move to Colorado I will not use this company nor their affiliates and will be certain to tell people that this company does not have any compassion that they continue to annoy the same person for over a month. I am not one to write reviews but our experience with 1st Colorado Roofing warranted an excellent review. There are so many roofing companies to choose from in Colorado that it's hard to vet out reputable ones; but I am SO grateful that we found Eric Bremenkamp with 1st Colorado Roofing! He was straight-forward, professional, and responsive. We had a 30 year old roof and weren't sure our insurance would approve any costs. Eric answered our questions honestly and never tried to sugar coat anything - something I greatly appreciated. Below are several things that Eric and his team did that makes them deserve a 10 star rating.
1.) He didn't rush us into making a decision about roof/gutter colors so that he could get on to other jobs ... he gave recommendations about what would look nice on a brick home and even dropped by extra sample colors & told us to take our time.
2.) There were never any surprise or hidden costs.
3.) The work was done very well and in a timely fashion.
4.) Eric advised us to ask our insurance company if we had Code Upgrade coverage (which we did and didn't know it!) and it got us several thousand extra dollars.
Overall, our experience was excellent. I would recommend Eric and his team to ANYONE on the market for a reputable roofing company that provides quality product and service. I only write this review in hopes that it makes a difference for someone out there trying to make a decision on which company to use.

First off, I have had friends that used 1st Colorado Roofing. They are professional and great. Second, If you get a call from Colorado First Roofing. ITS NOT THE SAME COMPANY! Colorado first is a scam. They have called me several times and even after I hung up! Please report Colorado First and don't get angry and post about 1st Colorado until you clarify. Its only fair.

Excellent experience with this company! We spoke to and worked with many companies with poor response/interactions until we were referred to 1st colorado roofing. All questions/concerns answered and promptly addressed. Very knowledgeable about roofing products/insurance processes, able to walk us through the whole process without pressure. Our roof is amazing and we are so happy!

Spammers. They've now called me three times in 2 days, even though the first two time I said I wasn't interested, and the second time I asked them to stop calling. On the third call, "Charlie" hung up on me while I was in the middle of politely repeating this. EDIT: Reading some of the other reviews, it might not be the same company.

1st Colorado Roofing is a knowledgeable, ethical roofer. That sounds reasonable enough but when you don't find that you have to deal with roofers who don't show, don't do a good job, don't stand behind their work. Don't put up with that! Call 1st Colorado Roofing!
