If you're passing through Vicksburg, 10 South Rooftop Bar & Grill is a must. I arrived in town just before sunset and was looking for a relaxing place to take in the view. ChatGPT recommended this spot, and it absolutely nailed it. Madison, my server, was fantastic—super friendly and spot-on with her recommendations.
She suggested the gumbo, and it did not disappoint—rich, flavorful, and exactly what I needed after a long drive. Then she talked me into trying the cheesecake, and I'm glad she did. It was massive and incredibly tasty—definitely big enough to share (but I didn’t have anyone to split it with, not that I would have).
Between the food, the service, and the rooftop view at sunset, it was a perfect evening. Great drinks, great vibes, and a staff that really cares. Thanks again, Madison!

Goooood service!! Looking out at the city and the Mighty Mississippi River was nice. Will go back for happy hour and drinks. Food was good too.

The owner and service was amazing! They ran out of the special, but made it right and their suggestion was amazing! Our server was amazing and very attentive. The atmosphere was perfect! Will definitely be back.

This is definitely the best spot to eat and view the Mississippi River and beautiful downtown Vicksburg. Do it in the evening to capture the sunset but remember this is primetime for dining so there might be a little wait but well worth it. It does close early so check your schedule. The food and service was bomb as well. I had the pork chop covered in candy yams with homemade onion rings! OMG! Mouth watering with a local next door tap beer . These are my homegrown self made buddies who invite me to visit and attend an event. One drove from El Paso and the other from Houston like me.

This place was amazing. We each had the Surf and Turf special, the fried green tomatoes in tomatoe gravy and crawfish sauce, and a couple of drinks each. It was phenomenal. Bella was our waitress and she provided the absolute best service and gave the best recommendations we could've asked for. She is fabulous!! Highly recommend this place. The view at sunset is worth it as well!!

This place was super fun and has amazing views! Hannah was our server and super nice, attentive and helpful. The food comes in huge portions and is great! I would definitely recommend coming to this spot if you are in the area

Traveling, campgrounds referred us. Parking was a challenge, finding entrance a little hard, but the food was great, service great, atmosphere good. Views outstanding, noise from fans a little loud, but ok. Would return if I'm back in Vicksburg.

Noisy but conversation was possible. Welcoming staff. Very busy on Saturday night. Counter and tables could be cleaner. Great steak. Adults of all ages were there along with a very few kids. AC struggled to keep it comfortable. Windows needed to be open to enjoy the river view.

The wait time was minimal for a Saturday night. The service and the food were good, but the sunset view over the river from 10 stories up was the clear winner.

Great dining experience. Complimentary appetizer of seasoned pretzels and honey mustard. Great sweet tea. I had the surf and turf. Filet, grilled shrimp, with mash potatoes and green beans in a crawfish sauce. 10/10 for flavor and appearance. My husband and daughter had the famous chicken sandwich. They thoroughly enjoyed it. Large portions and nice view of the river. Great service. Only complaints was that it’s not child friendly, no changing table, high top tables unable to accommodate a high chair / booster safely. Only other thing is it would be better to have signage on the street pointing you the right way. We went to the wrong restaurant at first. There’s another “rooftop” restaurant right next to it. Overall very good food. Would eat here again!

What a great location looking over the Mississippi. Food was magnificent, we shared the ribeye steak with shrimp et cetera on it. We also tried the catfish which was good. The Staff were attentive, Bella our server was very friendly. The most expensive place we’ve eaten on our trip across Tennessee and Mississippi, however definitely worth it . Would recommend coming here again.

The wings my husband ordered were burnt. I had the Red shrimp bowl( the noodles were stuck together, the meal had absolutely no flavor, so I let my waiter know that it was disguising. I just added salt and pepper no crackers were even given. This was our first time here and it was not good.

Overall good! There is not very much that is gluten free, but what I needed up getting was DELICIOUS! And we had a wonderful view of the river.

Sat on the rooftop with a Beautiful view overlooking the Mississippi River and downtown Vicksburg. The pretzels were seasoned well with a tasty dip. Ordered the Shrimp and Grits along with a Mexican Mule to drink. The tequila selection was underwhelming but the food was not disappointing.

Oh my goodness!!! I’ve always heard about this restaurant, and now to experience it for myself was so approving! The blacken catfish with Parmesan grits and the corn maque choux was devine. I wasn’t for sure if I would like the corn maque due to it was my 1st time tasting it so the waitress had the to put it on the side. When I tasted it, I almost couldn’t verbalize the Devine taste to him. He also enjoyed his meal! I give this restaurant a 5⭐️✨ in all areas

Vid vårt besök var det fullt med folk, och vi gick hänga i baren i väntan på att få ett ledigt bord. Då ska det tilläggas att det var söndag kväll. Så om man ska hit fredag eller lördag gör man nog klokt i att boka bord.

Baren var mycket bra med en snabb och kunnig bartender. Efter 30 minuter fick vi så ett bord. Utsikten är verkligen vidunderlig, men man ska ha i åtanke att när solen gått ner finns det inte mycket som är upplyst på andra sidan Mississippifloden så då blir det väldigt mörkt och lite av känslan går förlorad.

Maten var mycket bra och bestod till stor del av klassisk sydstatsmat. En specialare jag aldrig sett förut var deras Bloody Mary, som serveras med bl a bacon (!). Lite kul.

Kan man anmärka på något var det servicen. Allt stressades fram och både vi och bordet bredvid fick fel mat. De fixade det såklart snabbt, men det känns lite oengagerat. Sen tycker vi som kommer från Europa att man inte behöver ha så bråttom utan låta folk äta klart och sitta och prata lite innan man kommer och frågar om dessert och kommer in med notan. Men här skiljer sig nog USA från Europa. I USA ska allt gå fort och man har alltid bråttom iväg till nåt annat.

So I've been to 10 South twice. I went several years ago and I remember it being very good. I recently went and I was very let down about the food quality. Service was okay, kind of slow but it was dinner time and great weather outside (crowded since everyone wants a good rooftop view close to sunset). Appetizer of fried green tomatoes w/ crawfish was bland, not much taste. The complimentary pretzels and honey mustard are good but they will definitely give you the hot breath lol! Atmosphere and views are beautiful, especially during sunset. I'm sure the drinks are good but I can't speak to those. Overall it's a great place but the food could use some more flavor and seasoning in my opinion.

This place is fabulous..The views are amazing. The service is excellent. The food is delicious. We had the pork chop and red fish . Both were amazing. My husband thought the pork chop was one of the best he has ever eaten. Great cocktails . Just all around great place. It was the reason for our visit to Vicksburg and it did not disappoint.

We had dinner in 10 South Rooftop Bar & Grill. Such a great place for fabulous views of Vicksburg and the Mississippi River and the Yazoo River! Absolutely gorgeous! Everyone we met were so kind. I had the redfish with a crawfish hollandaise on mashed potatoes and my husband had an amazingly tender and delicious porkchop with an amazing tomato glaze, sweet potato and onion rings. Bella was our waitress, she was so kind and did a great job, very personable. We talked with some people visiting from England and had an enjoyable evening. We came back and our food and service was amazing! We love this place! Thank you!

Not going to exaggerate, the ambiance is amazing. Really nice hangout place. Staff is friendly pretzels were amazing. But to be completely honest this is the worst burger I ever had in my life. Burger was really dry. This has to be pre frozen meat. It was not very appealing. The bacon on it was delicious. To each their own but I just had higher expectations seeing that so many people raved about this place.

Recently dined at 10South Restaurant in Vicksburg, and overall, it was a wonderful experience! The atmosphere is inviting, with a charming decor that adds to the dining experience. The service was prompt and attentive, which made our visit even more enjoyable.

The menu offers a limited variety of dishes, and everything we ordered was delicious. The flavors were on point, and the portion sizes were generous. However, I did find the prices to be a bit on the higher side for some items, which is why I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5. While the quality was definitely worth it, a few of the dishes felt a bit pricey for the area. Also do ask for price on special sauce they offer on existing high menu price as our party was charged and roughly $12 per dish extra on top of the high price. 20% gratuity was also bit too much which is added of you have party of 5 or more!

That said, the dining experience at 10South is definitely worth it, especially for a special occasion or a nice night out. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy a great meal in Vicksburg, just be prepared for slightly elevated prices!

Great spot to grab a drink and meal while watching the sunset. The staff was friendly and attentive and the food was great.

With my sweet parents for a late valentines dinner. Couldn’t have been happier with the food and the service. The view is always amazing there, too, on clear days. Gorgeous sunsets visible from the entire restaurant!

This is such a fun place to eat and the views are beautiful! Great servers every time we eat there. It is in the heart of downtown Vicksburg. This is a must stop for anyone looking for fun, great food with beautiful views. The pretzels and mustard are addictive and the chicken and waffles were delicious!

We love an old Main St spot but WOW did we ever love this stop. If you are traveling thru on stopping for a spell this is a gem!! Food was incredible. Not cliche cajun but great cuisine. Our server Nick was so awesome he even came to check on us while a big party was being seated in his section. The rest of the staff was eager to help as well. For sure try the fried green tomato appetizer. The view is the bonus. Will for sure be back!!

What an amazing experience 10 stories up in a building built in 1905 . And it was during rain and lightning while we ate !!! Amazing. Our server was just awesome with recommended dishes and desserts.

A special thanks to the management at 10 S. rooftop bar and Grill for making Valentine’s Day a little better had a wonderful meal a large pork and a sweet potatoes my wife had the salmon. It was all delicious. Had a little mixup with the dinner. They came through and made it right. Nothing but goodness came out of it. Their desserts are wonderful. The staff is very friendly very outgoing thanks again to management and the staff for making Valentine’s Day very special
