1-800-RITE-ROOF - Roofing Contractors

While this company may be good for roofing, they were awful for our exterior stucco removal and replacement paneling project. The agreed-upon timeline for our project from start to finish was scheduled mid-month and said to take 1 week. Unfortunately, the project didn’t get started until about 2 weeks after the quoted start date, and then it took about 4 ½ weeks to get it done.

We’d hear from the company that they were going to show up and would ask us to scramble to paint or prep materials for them. We would have to notify our neighbors because we live in an area where their driveway would be inaccessible when the team was working. Then 1800-Rite-Roof would never arrive. This happened over and over again. While some days could be blamed on the weather, they were frequently gone in streaks of sunny, gorgeous days where there was no way the weather could be to blame. After bugging them repeatedly to please show up and begin the job, they did some work removing the entire exterior of our house, then totally disappeared for weeks! During this time, they regularly failed to answer our calls and text messages.

After the removal, they wrapped our home in house wrap. Within a day or so, the house wrap was falling down and flapping in the wind. You could see the light from outside through our walls and feel the wind! The prolonged exposure of our property due to the unnecessary delays resulted in significant damage and discomfort within our home. The incomplete shielding of our house after the stucco removal phase caused water damage where water was streaming down our walls and windows on the first floor. It totally ruined the plaster in one room. It also led to increased air drafts, leading to a more heat usage and a notable rise in our gas bill (higher than the average bill for this time of year for the last 7 years and higher than any other bill we had in 2023).

The initial contract with 1800-Rite-Roof included aluminum trim work for four new windows because they would be damaged, which was not fulfilled as agreed. To seek another contractor to do this, we had to pay way more than what 1800-Rite-Roof said they would charge us.

The team has a great salesman, and he was just that, a salesman. Before signing the contract, I felt so confident in this company based on his promises and the reviews online. Once work got started, it was just an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience. I really liked the team who came out to do the installation but I would have much preferred to skip the middleman and go straight to them in the future. We have worked with many different contractors and never had such a negative experience.

Rite-Roof replaced my asphalt shingles. They are exemplary from start to finish. We appreciated the informative sales presentation. There was no pressure to sign a contract. We got 5 bids for the job. Rite Roof was about in the middle of the cost range. We are more than pleased with the quality of the workmanship and the materials. I have built fine furniture, guitars and have done some roofing many decades ago. I recognized the skill and attention to detail that went into the roofing job. The craftsmanship is way above expectations. We had a roof replacement about 20 years ago. Rite-Roof provided much better quality, workmanship, clean-up and we could not be more pleased! The only delay that occurred was due to the weather. 5 stars is not enough!

1-800-RITE-ROOF does great work. They are efficient and pay attention to detail. They are very knowledgeable in all aspects of roofing, flashing and details that ensure a roof lasts as long as it should. I have used them for many roofing projects in the last 10 years. Cameron, the owner, is very much involved with every project.

Replaced the entire roof, gutters and downspout with 1-800-RITE-ROOF. They kept the work area really clean all the time and completed the job on time. Great professionals to interact with.

They provided excellent service with a reasonable price to install a new roof and attic venting.

Everyone was fantastic. The guys were very respectful. Cleaned up every inch of my property at the end of each day. Never left us any mess to deal with. I had a roof and gutters put on my mother's house and then a few months later I bought my first home and had them put a roof and new gutters on my house. Fantastic work. And fantastic workers.

I have used 1-800-RITE-ROOF for several, different jobs over a few years: Gutter installation, a tear-off roof installation, a flat roof installation and roof repair. I recommend them without hesitation. Their costs are competitive with other roofing companies. They use quality materials and don't skimp. Their work is thorough and shows great attention to detail. Clean-up of the job site was always impeccable. They completed the jobs in a timely fashion.

But in my mind the best advantage of using 1-800-RITE-ROOF is the excellent customer service throughout the project. In particular I find Cameron Kappl very, very responsive to the customer's needs. He worked hard to make sure I was satisfied with the jobs. His follow-through to my questions/concerns was excellent. He and 1-800-RITE-ROOF demonstrated over and over that they standby their work. As an example, when a portion of my roof started leaking a few years after installation, he investigated the problem, found the source of the leak and repaired it without additional cost to me (even though the structure of my home and not the roof installation was largely responsible for the problem).
