Westside Drywall & Insulation

This company is large but it doesn’t feel like it when you’re dealing with them. They made me feel like I was a priority. They came when they were scheduled to come. The crew was meticulous about laying down paper to protect my floors, they cleaned up better than other contractors I have used. The crew was quick to get the work done and polite. I have referred these guys out to my friends, family and clients! I highly recommend!

I've been a customer since 2016. I use them for Enviro-Dri, Insulation, & Drywall. They always answer my call, or question. It is tough in this day and age, cause people want to over communicate and never take into consideration: other jobs, traffic, & Labor. I always get the finish product we ask for.

The transfer occurred as I was driving by and not while parked. Your employees failed to close the street down adjacent to them or properly cover their work area. You sent out an employee and he agreed the transfer came from your company and directed me to call the office. When I did you denied any wrong doing. It's fine I have had the damage repaired out of pocket but to anybody reading this I would strongly advise you to look into what methods and lengths they go to protect the possessions of you and your neighbors as well. Or better yet look into a company that doesn't have numerous complaints about the mess they leave behind.

Sergio and Roberto recently repaired the ceiling and drywall imperfections in our house.We couldn’t be happier with the results. The quality of work is outstanding and the ceiling and walls look seamless. We highly recommend Westside Drywall & Insulation for any drywall needs.

Rojelio Arriaga and his son came to repair cracks in our ceiling due to poor design. They were fantastic. Very thorough in their prep. The results look great. We couldn't be happier.

Our experience with Westside was unfortunately terrible. Most of this was due to interactions with their employee, Cesar. In brief, he was unprofessional, very poor with communication, and vague when providing timelines. It became so challenging to communicate with him and get him to return our calls that we eventually just requested that we no longer work with him. Despite raising these concerns with a manager, Cesar never apologized or even acknowledged his unprofessionalism. In regards to the work itself, we had foam insulation sprayed into our ceiling and batt insulation for the walls, both of which were done poorly. The nominal thickness was less than we paid for, there was heavy overspray on some exposed wood beams across the ceiling, and the batt insulation was also installed poorly. We had to ask them to come back twice to clean the overspray, and also to properly install the batt insulation. We also had to make it a point that the workers didn't do some basic cleaning up after themselves. We completely understand that we would have to do some degree of cleaning afterwards, but they left it a mess. Westside did eventually acknowledge our concerns and ended up giving us a 5% discount, but this was truly an extremely frustrating process for us and delayed a large renovation project. It was an easy choice for us to choose another company for drywall (which was a much smoother process), however if you do choose Westside, try to avoid working with Cesar if you can.

Had a contractor hire this company as a subcontractor for texturing, and a few relatively minor raised corner tape and small holes that could be fixed with spackle. There was a little confusion as the contractor originally told them that places I had already applied spackle should be textured, but then told me to walk the foreman through the house and point out spots I wanted done which I did not indicate the already spackled parts and the foreman made no inquiry. When the worker came he applied texture randomly to the point where half the already spackled spots in a room were textured and half in the same room were not. After about two hours he said he was done and when I pointed to one of the spots on the ceiling he had spackled that didn't look right he told me "just needs to be sanded then ready for paint," as if I wasn't paying him to complete the work he did. After some argument with the contractor, he talked me into letting this company try to fix the issues. They did finally sand down the parts he spackled and applied texture, but there were still some spots they just sanded and didn't apply texture. They also got texture on a light switch next to a spot so I'm going to have to replace the light switch if I want one without texture or scrape it off. After the second time I just told the contractor I didn't want this company back in my house. I'll never have this company back in my house and if you're smart you shouldn't have them in your house either. I'm also planning not to hire the contractor again just because he chose to work with this company. Awful.

Trash follow up from them. No returned messages. Still waiting for an insulation bid. Been 4 weeks to date. Finally reached Cesar on accident, while he was on vacation of all times, he said he'd call me back. Never did. Bunch of empty word losers. Hope this helps anyone in hurry. These guys ain't it!

I have met many of the crew and family at Westside Drywallv good human beings. Besides being an Industry leader they are a family business with strong ties to the local community. On occasion I have had the oppurtunity to fix thier fleet vehicles. A great company to do business with.

These guys do really great work. They show up when they say they will be there and do outstanding work. Thank you, we will continue to use you guys!

Corey came out and did measurements and emailed me a price quote shortly after that. When ready to schedule a time to get the insulation done, I called his cell, the Westside front desk, and sent an email. And no reply to schedule an appointment to get my job done. So onward to find another insulation company. They don't care about business or their customers obviously.

don't waste your time with these jokers. I called him for an estimate the guy came out and measured everything and promised to have an estimate to me within two days. Three weeks later and three phone calls including one to his manager and I have not received a single phone call back. Go find a different contractor these guys don't give a damn about their customers
