The entire process was easy and understandable. I really liked the breakdown sheet we got from the initial inspection on what materials were needed. They also communicated expected cost of extra materials if needed, which gave us a great view on expected outcome value. The roofers were respectful, did excellent work, and cleaned up around the place after they were done. The roof looks fantastic and we would definitly recommend Pacific NW to others for roofing needs.

Had a great experience working with the folks from Pacific West Roofing, from start to finish. Got a detailed, clear estimate and all my questions were answered very patiently and multiple times thru texts during the install. The installers were awesome and were here at 7:30 every day. It took about 6 days to finish the roof install inlcuding few facia board replacements. They were not the cheapest but were very competitive and am really happy with the experience and the job

We met Phil three month ago and got a very comprehensive list of what our roof needed. He was very professional, correct and on time. Unfortunately, we decided to go for the cheaper quote because of another circumstances. Well, we thought we got the same package but had to add more and more. We going to pay $600 more than PWR. I called Phil even after I told him about our dilemma, and he helped us out. What an outstanding service. We will need another roof and will use PWR for sure.

I just finished a post installation inspection of the new roof that Pacific West Roofing completed on my daughter’s house in Tualatin. From the initial contact with Project Manager Phil Clark this has been a wonderful experience. It was immediately obvious that not only did Phil know the roofing business; his polite, professional and very personable manner was evident in the entire project. He performed a very thorough inspection and provided a concise yet detailed bid for the work. The work included tear off and replacement of the roofing and related flashings on a 1970’s house. His crew (employees of Pacific West versus day labor) was extremely skilled. They were also careful of the landscape and minimized the impact on the structure. Their cleanup was very particular and there was no evidence of them having been there at all (except the beautiful new roof!).

The installation of the roof is exceptional. Pacific West replaced the existing rubber boots with new, lead vent seals that will last the lifetime of the roof. Chimney flashing was cut into the existing masonry and expertly installed tight to all surfaces. Edge flashings were placed nice and tight to all barge rafters and color matched the roofing material. The valleys were cut perfectly straight and parallel to structure. I would give them ten stars if such was available. I Highly recommend the Pacific West Roofing as a company and Phil Clark individually as he was an outstanding liaison and kept us informed every step of the way. And to top it all off – they were on time and in budget!

We are very pleased with Pacific West Roofing. Their project representative to us, Mr. Phil Clark, has an encyclopedic knowledge of every aspect of roofing and helped us think through every aspect of our home roof shingling and repair and ventilation improvement project. Their offices stayed regularly in touch with us by text about the project. The work crew worked hard, safely, and diligently cleaned up the debris in the yard every evening for two weeks before they left. Their quality control people were on site several times. This company is really good.

Pacific West Roofing was so great to work with. They were completely professional from the first phone call for scheduling an estimate to the final inspection at the end of the job. They were always on time, provided great updates on the schedule and what to expect, and answered every email, text or phone call from me promptly. The crew working on our roof was so professional and polite. They completed our roof in January but monitored the weather carefully and only exposed parts of our roof when there were no showers. They cleaned up everything and also were careful to also clean up anything that fell into our neighbors' yards! They provided a very detailed estimate (multiple pages!) and walked us through every aspect of the roof replacement. This was such a contrast to several competing bids that we received that had a very brief description or was even a verbal estimate only. They sent us photos from our roof while working and provided multiple photos of the 1 area where they uncovered dry rot and completed repairs for us. (We'd had problems in that area so finding dry rot there was not a huge surprise.) They had suggestions for us with the project that no other company provided, such as replacing our 24 year old skylight and verifying that we had adequate ventilation. A home inspector recommended Pacific West Roofing and we completely agree! We have multiple neighbors who will all need new roofs in the next few years and we will be recommending Pacific West Roofing to all of them.

We appreciated the integrity of this company, their office staff and their crew members. Communication was superb. We were kept informed at all points while having our new roof installed, and they welcomed our questions. They actually created a text group with us, the estimator, the crew liason, and the owner of the company, so we were all on the same page and could communicate at will. Amazing! Recently, I had an excellent experience with Pacific West Roofing. Bryan developed an estimate of the work that my roof needed and took time to explain every aspect of the project. Once underway, the production team did a wonderful job communicating with me about status. They sent pictures and videos in real-time, allowing me to be involved in decision-making every step of the way. After the project completed Brian, the owner, came by to inspect the site and to repair interior drywall/paint that had shifted during the project. My house is a 1962 ranch house with low pitch. Crew worked in the scorching weather of Summer 2021. Crew was polite, tidy, worked fast despite record heat. Clean up was excellent. Installed roof around pre-existing SolaTube skylights. Roof and venting looks great. No leaks this winter! Would recommend this company.

PWR was Great! Their team was top flight starting with Bryan who provided us the estimate and answered all of my questions, extending to their crew and office staff and finally their owners. They were very customer focused and included me in every step. Their attention to quality was always evident as was their accessibility to discuss issues and skilled in their craft. They worked hard to accommodate the special needs of our mid-century modern home. And, our roof was complex in its needs. Recently my partner and I purchased our first home. We have a unique history with the sellers, so the purchase did not follow a typical process. Because of this, we found ourselves in a situation with a time constraint and in desperate need of a near immediate roof inspection and subsequent repairs. With our closing date quickly approaching, Pacific West Roofing was recommended to us, so we contacted them.
I have worked in customer service my whole life. This experience means I am well acquainted with all the annoying, pushy people who feel their needs should be everyone’s priority merely for their own convenience not a legitimate urgent need. Also, being meticulous planners, my partner and I were particularly embarrassed to have to be “that pushy person” requesting our needs be prioritized, but we had no choice.
That said, Pacific West Roofing recognized that we aren’t “that pushy person” and was not only accommodating to our situation, but they were nice! When I explained, with apologies, our situation to them, I received courteous understanding and we had an inspection scheduled within a few days. Phil Clark came out to do the inspection. His service was superb! From his kind demeanor to his professionalism, he made the experience pleasant, smooth and easy. Additionally, he followed through in a prompt manner, getting us needed documentation and scheduling the repairs.
The repairs were properly and professionally completed just a few days later by a great team. The team arrived as scheduled, were nice, quick, efficient and clean.
Finally, huge gratitude to Reed who was beyond patient with our requests.

Sadly, generally speaking, we come across mostly sub-par customer service in business today. Pacific West Roofing is a surprising, refreshing exception! Overall, this company out-performed our expectations.

Just had our roof replaced and the entire experience went smoothly and turned out great. Phil established excellent communication throughout the entire process and regularly sent text updates and pictures of the progress. The crew was mostly female, and I loved it! They were hard working and left absolutely zero mess and cleaned up the entire site at the end of each work day. The roof went up quickly and looks outstanding. I would recommend this company to others and will use them again if we have further roofing needs.

I just had a new shingle roof completed, replacing my old wood shake roof. I ended up going with Malarkey Vista shingles. The job took about 5 1/2 days. I will say that all of the Pac West people I dealt with were professional, courteous and responsive from the sales rep, the work crew and the office folks. All great to work with. The materials and workmanship seem great and I heartily recommend using them for your next roof.

Hey America, how you doing? It’s been a rough time right? We had Pacific West do our roof and skylights, and they were just—great to work with. They were the middle of 3-4 estimates, but so much more informative and knowledgeable about the whole process, (like venting- so important). Kept us really informed the whole way through. Excellent job. No upselling, no hard sales tactics, no uninformed ‘sales team’. And I thought y’know, I could do my job a little better too. Maybe we all could! I asked what shape the 20 year old roof was in and they could have told me anything but they were honest and told me it was in good shape and just needed the moss removed. When got quotes from several companies on installing a metal roof, but Bryan was the only one who walked around the house with me explaining the quirks of our house (inadequate vents, a weird dip on the garage roof, etc), and then put the fixes necessary into the quote he wrote up. The price we were given wasn't the lowest but it was comparable and Bryan's knowledge and honesty made Pacific West the obvious choice. As the old roofing was being stripped off it became clear that the 50 year old plywood wasn't in the best condition and we decided that since this was the last roof we'd be putting on in our lifetimes that it would be best if we started on a solid base and resheeted the entire roof. At today's plywood prices it wasn't cheap but the owners themselves came out to talk to us and gave us the best price they could. With all the extra time our roof needed, Rafa and the guys were here working tirelessly for over 10 hours a day, 6 days a week and got it all done in a week and a half - pretty amazing considering all of the unexpected work that was added. If you're looking for a roofing company that is knowledgeable, hardworking, and takes care of problems instead of covering them up you can't go wrong with Pacific West.

Phil and Brent was great to work with and Rafa who did the metal roof installation did a superb job. Such a hard worker! If your looking into doing a metal roof instal, these are the guys. Can’t speak highly of Rafa’s craftsmanship. Our roof was pretty tricky too due to all the different pitches (angles) going on. Him and his team were super professional. Can’t recommend this company enough.

We just had our roof replaced by PAC West. From the quote, to the follow up, to the paperwork, to the front office, to Stan and Brent who attended to every detail this was an extremely positive experience. PAC west was not my first choice when it came to the bid price as I had bids from 4 other companies, and the they were not the highest nor the lowest, but of all the bids and sales reps I talked to they were the most down to earth and honest! Their bids were extremely detailed, their email communications swift, their front office staff was courteous. When it came to scheduling we had to push our job out a month due to other construction in our home and Brent was easy to work with. Given the size of our roof, Brent and Stan were on site daily, they both made sure we knew what was going on and if an issue arose, which inevitably it did, they were out here ASAP to deal with it. In every construction job you would be naive to think as issue won't arise, however it is how one deals with it and makes the situation a positive one! When our issue arose Stan and Brent made it right and fixed the issue immediately, This type of service is not something you can teach, it is engrained in their bones, and the value of product they provide.

We recently had our 30 year old roof replaced by Pacific West Roofing. They did an excellent job from the bid to cleanup and final inspection. Special care for surrounding plants and fixtures plus attention to detail was part of our experience. Excellent communication as the job progressed aided by ongoing photos and drone shots let us observe any damaged plywood that needed replacing. Our experience with Pacific West Roofing has been excellent from beginning to end and we cannot recommend them highly enough. Long story short: We bought a new house and ADU that turned out to have serious flat roof construction defects. This required complete demo of the roof assemblies and replacement. We had several companies provide their assessments and recommendations, but only Stan Robinson provided the detail, (rigid insulation, vapor barrier placement, membrane type, color and weld technique, correct ventilation, drainage slopes, scupper placement, parapet flashing, etc.), and more importantly explained the specific strategy behind each detail. His decades of experience shone through and the bid was competitive. The Pacific West Roofing team executed Stan’s plan perfectly, on-schedule and on-budget. As with any large project, problems are encountered during the process, but they took them all in their stride with unflappable professionalism, transparency, honesty & integrity. We were made aware of all aspects of the job and were included in the decision-making process every step of the way. Customer satisfaction remains their mantra, and they bent over backwards to ensure not only that we had perfectly reliable roofs, but also that we were happy with every aesthetic feature. Every member of the Pacific West crew took great care to protect buildings and driveways during the construction process, plus it was plain to see that they always took worksite safety seriously. They followed up with an extremely thorough site clean-up and an inspection by Stan at the end to double check every detail for 100% perfection. PacWest did an excellent job of installing our new roof. We replaced an aging cedar shake roof with a Presidential TL shingle. From start to finish the job went smoothly. The crew did a great job of cleaning up the site each day and made sure that all trash was properly disposed of. I was very pleased with the companies attention to detail in going over everything that was to be included and what we could expect from start to finish. The foreman showed up each day to make sure that everything was going according to plan. I would definitely recommend Pacific West Roofing to anyone in the market for a roof replacement.

We recently had a roof installed by Pacific West. They showed up when they said they would, did a great job installing the roof, and did a fantastic job cleaning up our driveway, deck and yard.
Phil, who gave us the original quote, also was out on the job at the beginning and during the process.
Brent was also at the job site and also great to work with.

We moved into a very cool mid century modern house about 10 years ago and were told by a roofing inspector that the roof was good for another 5 years. Turns out it wasn’t and the roof leaked like a sieve after $100k in renovations. That’s when we called Pacific West. Their estimate was fair and their plan for dealing with the various roof issues was spot on. Our house required a membrane roof material because it has a flat roof. Subtle Modifications were made to the roof slope to improve drainage and to increase insulation so now we rarely run the AC during the summer. The installation crew was professional and the extensive work was completed quickly and to our complete satisfaction. I highly recommend Pacific West Roofing.

Pacific West Roofing replaced our wood shingle roof with a metal roof in January 2017. The work was planned during a one-week clear weather window, which is rare in the PNW. After removing the shingles, we discovered that over 150 3x6 TG boards needed replacement which extended the scope of the work considerably. The weather turned wintery again but Hector and his team kept coming at every break in the weather, sometimes for only a few hours, until the work was completed. Pacific West Roofing was very gracious in working with us on the additional costs of the repairs. Thank you again...We love our metal roof

Pacific West Roofing just completed the replacement of our 19 year old shake roof with Presidential asphalt product. Recommended by our painting contractor, ESP Painting, we are more than completely satisfied with the selection of this company. From the initial phone contact, everyone involved was knowledgeable about the entire process, and conducted themselves in a professional manner. Beginning with the inspection and bid, Sam fully explained all details and answered our questions so that we fully understood not only the contract and work involved but additionally what would be happening day to day.
Brent, who coordinated the work crew and kept us informed as to the specific schedule, even created a group text list for all our use.
Importantly, on the first day, Sam, Brent, and the crew lead by Javier were all on site at the same time with introductions and reviewing the overall project together. In addition, Sam was on site daily for a time to assess the project progress and keep us informed. The work crew couldn't have been better.......organized and skillful, no shortcuts, and keeping the work area free of debris. The tear off of cedar shingles, repair, and installation was completed on schedule........and, looks great! There are many roofing companies out there, but none that would be better than Pacific West. This organization is well run and provides the little extras that only comes with competent and satisfied workforce.

Our roof is very complicated and presented some serious challenges. Stan and his excellent crew rose to the occasion, considering and executing each detail carefully. We feel confident going into the winter season with the roof they put over our heads.

Pacific West Roofing was the 3rd roofing company we contacted. Brian (owner) visited the house, saw the job to be done, and followed through on sending someone to do the job ASAP - which was the first win for us compared to our two previous attempts to find someone (to fix the leak caused by an unsealed roofing anchor). The person who did the job was professional and based on his demeanor and our already positive experience with the owner, we are trusting in a job-well-done. The cost of the job was exactly what the estimate said it would be (another positive factor in our experience). The only thing that would have made the experience better is if we had been shown pictures of the finished job. I’m sure they would have done that if I had asked, but I didn’t.

Because of the scope of the work (& money) involved in a reroof project, we were nervous about finding the best company. But from the beginning to the end, the staff at Pacific West Roofing made us feel at ease and well taken care of. We had a wonderful experience and Phil, Brent, and their entire crew were hard workers and pleasant to interact with. The owner, Stan, even came by on a weekend to check on the roof when strong winds knocked some things over. We received estimates from several other companies and although Pacific West’s bid wasn’t the cheapest, we really liked how it was a family-run business and felt like they cared a lot about the quality of their work and customer satisfaction. Brent and Brian both project managed the smooth process of our project. They even made sure that we had the calculated vent flow for our roof to last, and recommended quality roof brackets to be installed for the safety of workers doing repairs on our home due to the many levels of our roof and the terraced property. They took care of many small attention to details like picking up nails, matching sizes on boards replaced for the roof work to even rehanging cup hooks in our fascia boards for Christmas lights. The roofing staff was professional, organized, hardworking, and pleasant. It’s a good feeling to work with contractors who do what they say they are going to do, and follow through. It leaves you confident, happy and comfortable to refer them.

I had my roof replaced in July '20, and I'm very happy with the finished product. I love Malarkey Vista AR shingles that were installed, and the resolution to my lack of adequate attic ventilation. The crew showed up every morning on time and diligently worked until 7:30pm to 8:30pm. They made necessary repairs (i.e. dry rot, delamination of sheathing, etc) that were necessary and received prior approval before starting. They did what they promised, and I put great value in those who are trustworthy. There were many challenges and they worked with me along the way to get them resolved. I had my roof replaced five years ago and they did a phenomenal job. Workmanship and product was and is stellar. The other day I noticed a couple of cedar shingles out of place and was concerned something was going south. I called the company and also Stan Robinson the owner and BOOM like the honest craftsmen they are, Stan showed up the following day and did the repairs at no charge and the damage had been caused by a falling limb dislodging the shake. What honest people they are to repair at no charge and to be so prompt to ally my fears.

Pacific was by far the most responsive and professional firm we received quotes from, and that carried right through the completion of the project. It is clear they know the right way to do it, and we are confident we got the best value and the best quality. Their crew were real craftsmen, the project manager kept us informed of progress in detail, and project was completed right when promised. Even the owner came to the job site ( on a Saturday no less) to quickly address a couple of minor concerns and make sure we were fully satisfied. When done, the project manager walked us through the project in detail. We could not be more pleased and and proud of the results. These guys really know what they’re doing and the results show it.

I have had Pacific West service my roof for over 15 years! They installed skylights, cleaned and cleared the roof and gutters and have maintained it yearly! I have heavy tree and needle debris so this is an important job! The crew has always been very efficient, friendly and thorough! I highly recommend them for your roofing needs!❤️

Everyone was professional and did a thorough job. Matt supervised the installation. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain all of our numerous questions. We had condensation problems in our vaulted ceilings and our shingles desperately needed replacing. By installing and updating the proper roof venting systems it eliminated this problem.
Pacific West Roofing was not the lowest bid we got but the quality of their work and their professionalism easily warrants the peace of mind we got from knowing our roof will be secure for years to come.

Update 5/20 - Almost 2 years later, we still love our roof! We've since done a few home projects with other contractors, and no one has compared to Pacific West in terms of communication, quality and doing the job right. Honestly, we wish they could do everything in our home! Our latest contractor experience just made us even more grateful for having worked with Pacific West. Seriously, they are our shining star for contractors - no one else has compared.

We are so happy we chose Pacific West to replace our roof; they were wonderful to work with, excellent communicators and did a high quality job! We have a low-slope, 60s roof and Matt from Pacific West took the time to help us first understand our roof's composition (several layers were added over time), and then our options for the replacement roof (we went with a Fibertite membrane). During demolition, we uncovered some water damage to the tongue and groove decking that forms our ceilings, as well as other unique issues that needed to be addressed. The Pacific West team was excellent at communicating these issues right away, proposing reasonable solutions and executing quality repairs. We honestly don't know if another contractor would have taken the time to correctly fix our roof's many issues. Matt specially sourced the right tongue and groove decking to match our existing ceiling, which we truly appreciated! Throughout the project, the on-site manager, Hector, communicated progress and kept us well informed. We cannot say enough about the quality of the craftsmanship of our new roof and the repairs that were made to our wood ceilings. Throughout the process, Matt made it clear that their priority was to do things right and to make sure we were absolutely happy with the work. We absolutely recommend Pacific West!

They did a decent job but the finish work is poor. I asked for no music on the job and was assured that it was not allowed. The second day the music came out and they played it on the roof till they finished. They did not finish all the work and it is three months later and they still have not completely finished. Had to call several times to get them to come out and look at what they did not finish and they finally showed up and agreed they would complete the task. After a couple of calls the job is still not done. Considering my experience and the level of service and quality provided I would not recommend them to a friend or anyone else. Good sales job just did not back up their promises.

From the initial contact to get a quote to reroof my house to the final inspection after completion, all my interactions with PacWest Roofing were professional and met my needs. Pricing was reasonable, workmanship was professional and I’m very happy with my new roof.

Sam DeLeone did a thorough job of going through my requirements and answering all my questions during the quotation process. He was available at the start of work and was responsive to address any issues that came up during the work. He made sure the crew knew the specs and had all materials on hand to complete the work.

The roofing crew was professional, hard working and clearly experienced. They ended up having to replace almost 80% of the plywood and were careful to ensure that the remaining plywood was not damaged. It was their first experience installing sky tubes which was a little unnerving but we worked through an installation challenge with the help of Velux technical support.

The entire job took 6 days. It was a bit inconvenient to have to do all the cleanup in my backyard each day so it would be safe for my dog. The crew did an excellent job of cleanup upon completion of the job.

I was replacing the roof on my garage. A deck sits on the roof. It was hard to find a roofer that would do this type of project. A friend recommended Pacific West Roofing. Brian, Sandy and their team were very professional from the beginning. Brian consulted with the decking contractor throughout the project and even came out to the project to consult when the deck contractor ran into problems. Professional, friendly and people with integrity. I would highly recommend Pacific West Roofing.

Bid was roughly $19,000. Bill was $8,600 above that!!! We had substantial rot in our roof, which I specifically and repeatedly told their salesman, Sam, before the bid. Much of the rot was visible from the ground. Sam told me that they would fix it, and that I would only pay extra for additional rot that they found during the job because they couldn't see it all until they tore off the roof. But when the bill came about 2 weeks after the job was completed, the owners said that they put almost nothing in the bid for rot, and that the costs for virtually all the wood and labor were extra - $8,600 extra. They said that's how they always do it. The only number I received during the 2 weeks their workers were here was $500 for replacing fascia, and that was only after I repeatedly asked how much it would be to change out all the fascia. Changing the fascia was optional for me, and I only agreed to it because Sam told me it would be about $500. They are charging me more than $500 for the fascia boards alone, and substantially more for the labor of replacing them. After I refused to pay the $8,600 overage, they cut the bill to an additional $6,700. That's still 35% over their bid. Their contract says that I had to sign for any additional work over the contracted amount. I signed nothing during the process and was never given anything showing additional lumber or labor costs. They are refusing to honor that contract term. I liked their actual workers, but I could never recommend this company. They blindsided me, and now they expect me to pay for their employee's failure to give me accurate information about the bid, costs, and overruns. They aren't trustworthy.

Pacific West Roofing did a great job for us. They replaced our entire roof for us and were a pleasure to work with. They ended up taking off five layers of old roofing and replaced it with new Presidential Shingle. It was a complicated project and everyone I dealt with was knowledgeable, helpful, and confidence-inspiring. They have a lot of integrity and I would recommend them highly.

I was very happy working Stan and PacifcWest. Stan reviewed the job and listened to what I cared about, and made appropriate recommendations for what mattered most to us in terms of approach and product selection. The crew was careful and respectful of the property, asking questions when they weren't sure about some specific detail of the job. The final result looks really good, with careful attention to detail in the areas were it matters, and the crew cleaned up after themselves.

Pacific West Roofing took care of my roof maintenance needs promptly and professionally. They provided the work that I needed at a reasonable cost and did not try to upsell me unnecessary services like some other contractors have tried to do. I would highly recommend this company for roof maintenance.
