I found them to be responsive, friendly, and looks like good quality work.
We had them remove an unused chimney stack, where they re-roofed where it was removed. They did a nice job of getting close on matching the roof tiles as well. I was really impressed with their communication - Ross is great! We're already planning on having them complete some needed additional attic venting next.

The staff(Ross Gee)that I worked with were very helpful and very understanding with what I wanted and what he could help me out with. Was very willing to work around my schedule to make appointments and get things done quickly.

I can't even explain how much these guys helped me out. A few days before my closing date hail totalled my roof. Not gonna lie I was in a good panic. But they came out as soon as I called got me set up and even pushed the date up to get the roof done to help me out. I seriously appreciate them for what they did for me. They did amazing, I would highly recommend Weddle and Sons. Did a 30 square shingle roof and had a few things that needed removed from our old roof and with no complications they did the roof perfect.

First of all I want to give credit where credit is due and that is to Jacob!! He is a 5 Star employee and they are lucky to have him!!!!
Other then that I’ve gone all the way to the owner of the company Allyn (and no I didn’t miss spell his name) to resolve some issues that I will list below.
1. They over ordered my shingle need by more then 30% inflating the job estimate.
Instead of having 2 or 3 bundles left over they had more the 25 bundles left over!!!!
That 25 doesn’t include 9 bundles that I caught as the wrong color that they were going to put on the roof before I stopped them and they were set back on the truck! When I asked them to credit me back for the extra bundles that they would return to the supplier I was told that I signed the estimate and I would not be getting an adjustment!
2. I did not want a sub-installation crew doing my roof. Those are crews that are brought in during storm events and then they leave after the roofing company is caught up on jobs!!
I was mislead into thinking I was not getting a sub crew, but when they arrived at my house they were a sub crew from Texas that were brought to Lincoln this spring after the hail storm we had and would be returning to Texas.
3. The Sub crew were using my gutters as foot support and damaged 75 foot of gutters.
They would have damaged all my gutters if I had not been there and stopped them!
Weddle offered $200 damage compensation for the gutters which is laughable!!
4. I was charged a $350 up charge for special hip & ridge caps and come to find out that’s the only hip & ridge made for my shingles! How can there be an up charge if there’s no other option?? I asked for that charge to be refunded with no response from Allyn!!
5. There were several order mistakes that resulted in the job taking 3 days to complete instead of 1 1/2 days. Wrong size sky lights, wrong size vent caps, 9 wrong color shingle bundles. Their comment, (we don’t guarantee how long a job will take)!
Bottom line: I was an unhappy customer hoping that once I got to the head of the company that Allyn would do what ever it took to rectify that situation!! Instead he never even apologized for any of the mistakes and ended our communication with “ I’m done arguing”
He offered $200 for the damaged gutter and $250 additional payment if I agree to forgo their job warranty!! Are you serious Allyn!!!!
My last communication with him was unfortunately “I’ll have to go to small claims court to get this resolved”!
I’m glad to see so many customers are happy with their service and I wanted to be one of those also!!! Sadly that’s not what they wanted!!!

Guys were great to work with day in and day out. Cleaned up every day prior to finishing for the night. Work completed on time as promised.

They worked well with our insurance for roof replacement after storm damage. On the day of the job,during,and after they kept up updated and checked in with us regularly. We worked with Jacob and highly recommend him!!

The whole process was smooth, even during the Covid-19 restrictions that organizations and the government were putting into place. Moses, from Weddle and Sons came out to do the initial review and provided a quote offering to assist me through the process with the insurance company. They also provided several options to choose from and pointed out that the Category 4 Impact Resistant shingle could provide a homeowner’s insurance discount if I was interested. Communication about the install was great as well. Providing me updates and any possible delays due to weather in the area.

On the day of install, the roofers and foreman all showed up before 8 AM and let me know the material would arrive between 9 and 10. Until then, the roofers went to work to remove the old roofing material and prepare for the installation of the new material. The entire job was completed in a day with the foreman providing me updates and asking for input on a couple of items. Unexpectedly the foreman offered to remove some pop-up little trees around the house as well. This helped tremendously as I was just starting to go around and do some of that clean-up as well.

Overall, Weddle and Sons did a fantastic job and I would recommend them to anyone looking to replace their roof.

Jacob Mathews was the foreman for our roofing project. After introducing himself, I had the privilege of interacting and observing him work with and supervising the roofing crew as well as him completing a patio roof demolition and replacement job by himself. He was very pleasant, hard working, courteous and extremely professional in all of his actions. He even went above and beyond in suggestions for me to make some home improvements on the deck and covering posts. Truly a great employee and representative of your company.

I highly recommend Weddle and Sons. They were fair, honest, and did a great job. They kept me updated on progress, did additional structural work at a reasonable price and repaired free of charge patio brick damaged by the dumpster company. If I need audditional work done, they will the first to call!

After turning in the claim with the insurance company they handled the rest. They showed up the day agreed on and had my roof and gutters completed in one day! We've used Weddle and Sons twice now, first for a single-family home we purchased last year, and again for a townhome we own as a rental. Because the townhome shares a roof with 3 other units, there was extra coordination involved, and Samuel was able to attend a meeting with the owners on rather short notice and explain information very thoroughly. The neighbors initially had a few other contractors in mind, but we suggested Weddle and Sons because of our experience with them last year. The neighbors met with multiple companies and in the end decided this was the way to go -- pricing was good and their warranty is longer than anywhere else. Samuel and Amber kept us updated on the status of the job before, during, and upon completion. In both cases, they finished the entire roof in one day, minimizing the inconvenience of not being able to use the driveway. We'll definitely continue to recommend Weddle and Sons to anyone we know who is looking to have roofing work done.

Terrific Company! Weddle and Sons installed a new roof that looks beautiful. They were quick, efficient, and simply did a good job. Samuel was very patient with my questions and very helpful with everything. He was very thorough when he investigated 1 small problem that I had, and was just so easy to work with. I would recommend Weddle and Sons to anyone who needs a new roof. They also offer a 7 year workmanship guarantee, which is longer than most roofers. I know I already said it, but the new roof just looks beautiful! The people with the company are simply very ethical, which can be missing sometimes. Their price was also more reasonable - no gouging to upgrade to the impact resistant or for gutter covers.

Samuel and team did a fantastic job replacing my roof quickly and efficiently so I can get my house on the market. Unfortunately, Lincoln got hit with the bad storms before the gutters went up and my basement was 'squishy.' I was out of the country on business and Samuel went over with the water extractor, set up industrial fans, and took all the water out of my window wells, then covered them. Once he found that my dehumidifier wasn't working he went and bought a new one, set it up and emptied it twice a day till I got home. Then, he let me keep his fans for a couple more days so I could steam clean and re-dry the carpets. Wow, really? Who does all that for their customers? I really can't say enough great things about Samuel and how well he took care of my problems while I was gone. As an added bonus, his bid was the best of the five I received. He was just a pleasure to work with.

We had to fix our roof when selling our house and Sam and his crew did a high quality work, on time, and for a great price. Sam was always prompt to respond to questions and was great to work with. We asked them to fix a few other smaller issues on the roof that the inspector had noticed, and they did it no problem! I would high recommend them.

I had my roof replaced about 2 months ago with Weddle and Sons here in Lincoln. Samuel was the gentleman who I worked with and he was absolutely awesome! He walked me through all the products they use on their roofs and how it's better than the other stuff on the market and they were priced very competitively. It was great though to meet a trustworthy guy in the roofing business since I had some bad luck in the past. We had an issue with getting the DirecTV antenna back on the roof and Samuel assisted in getting it back on at no expense to me. Highly recommended!!!

These guys were highly recommended by a family member of mine and they lived up to the hype! Sam was very easy to work with and was very responsive to my questions and timing needs.
