We purchased a home from Waymon Hale Construction in April 2021. We notified the builder of water intrusion in our crawl space in July 2021, cupping of our hardwood floors, settlement cracks in our ceiling, granite counter tops pulling away from the walls - all serious issues related to the the significant water intrusion. According to two home inspections the home should have had foundation drains, weep holes in the stone veneer and wrapping on the foundation - all left out, corner cutting. Waymon Hale and Mike Green make commitments to repair problems then change things at the last minute or just never shows up. Stall tactic. They committed to install a french drain system around the foundation walls of the crawl space and slope the ground to move the water to the lowest point then pump it out. Mike Green changed that at the last minute and it became 2 poorly installed french drains in the front and side yard, running to a ditch in my yard! In June 2022, after several heavy rainstorms we notified them of significant water in the crawlspace they came out, dug a hole, put in a bucket and a water hose to pump the water out. This was our forever home and we moved 900 miles to buy it. BUYER BEWARE. Stall tactics and lies. I would not recommend this builder.

Be careful who you get to build your home, Waymon Hale got upset because my daughter and her husband wanted me, her father, to do their yard work, so he built their home so close to the edge of the bluff, that they couldn't back their cars up enough to turn around in their driveway. That is just one thing that he did. He doubled up on all the supplies that was ordered, so that he could send supplies back to the building supply, then he got the refunds. He also put their septic tank in the wrong place. I'll give him a - 5 star on the rate. Thats just the tip of the iceburg of what he did to us.
