Excellent work. Wait time was about 3 weeks from time of call to appraisal and then about the same till completion. Very knowledgeable and decent pricing. Would recommend them as I would use them again.

Chris spotted the source of a water leak in our attic in about five minutes and had it sealed just a few minutes after that. Turns out there was half of a nailhead that had been fastened too low in a shingle and was letting in water. He provided several other recommendations to improve our roof, as well. We plan to have them out for those improvements soon. This company is worth waiting for.

Total professional, prompt and professional. Have Slate Roof that had some slates that need replacing and Gutter hangers that were broken do to Slates landing on gutter. Walter explained what he would do and time frame. Completed gutter repair and Slate repair and examination of entire Roof. Totally pleased with job completion. We had a roof put on a mobile home after the metal roofing was damaged by tree limbs. Chris and the team are true professionals: they know what they’re doing and cleaned up perfectly. The communication throughout the process was better than any service company I’ve dealt with.

This was the easiest process I’ve ever gone through with a company. Chris was very thorough and answered all 100 questions I had. The crew installed my roof in literally less than 8 hours and I was beyond amazed at their craftsmanship. I was also worried about debris and extra nails but they had it all cleaned up before they left. I will recommend them 1000 times over!

My back porch roof was leaking badly, and the roof was sagging near the front. There were multiple leaks. A lot of work needed to be done to fix it. Found out about Walter D Witt Roofing from an ad in the Yellow Pages (yes, I am old) and then looked up their web site. I was impressed with all the positive reviews from other customers, so I gave them a call. Chris answered the phone and got over to my house quickly, explained to me what the problem was, how to fix it and scheduled the fix. I also asked if they could attach a gutter to my back porch as I have no gutters around the house. No problem. Chris continuously communicated to me when the project would begin and after a few weather delays, a couple of hard-working young men completed the job in a couple of days. Everything looks great, it was a state-of-the-art job utilizing new materials because regular shingles don't work on this particular roof. Rained cats and dogs the next day and I joyfully watched as my porch remained dry while all the water was gushing out of the gutter. Reasonably priced, excellent work and service, there is no reason to look anywhere else. I will be calling on Chris again if I need them in the future.

After the first initial snow storm we had we noticed that we had some leaks in our attic. After contacting Walter D Witt Roofing they came out pretty soon to take a look at the damage. They were pretty prompt in getting back with us with a quote at a very reasonable price. Everything was agreed upon and the date was set to come out. But due to weather we had to reschedule to a few times. Once everything was clear they were able to get out to the house pretty promptly to make all repairs. They left no trash or debris around the house, it all looked good.

Company was out nice and early and stayed until daylight was gone to ensure as much work was done. Really appreciated the hard work by the workers completing this job. The small patch we had placed onto our garage roof went fine. Worker showed up on time and didn't leave a mess. This roofer put our roof on 14 years ago and it's still doing great, except for this one patch.

I spent a lot of time researching local roofing companies before adding Walter D Witt to my list for requesting a quote. In addition to google and other review sites, I read through several forums and found Witt to be consistently amongst the recommended companies.

The quotation process was easy enough. Chris Witt stopped by to look at my roof and grab some photos. Later that day, I had the quotation with three different shingle options and several “add on” options I could pick from. The pricing was competitive with other quotes I had received but the ability to customize so many options stood out as a nice feature. After spending a few hours pouring over all of the options, I decided to go with Witt’s good reputation and chose an Owens Corning Duration shingle for my home.

The workers showed up promptly each day and worked very hard while removing and replacing my shingles. They kept the area as clean as could be expected with a project like this and after two days, I had my new roof installed. The quality of work looks to be very good and I’m quite pleased with how it all turned out. The workers did a good job cleaning up prior to departure, as well.
