Got a quote for a repair caused by an ice dam. $30,000 was clearly a, I don’t want anything to do with it price. Recently had it fixed for about $500 on top of my $45,000 deck and new siding project. It was literally just particleboard that got wet and needed replacement. I plugged the hole by the gutter with flex tape after they left. Didn’t even offer a quick fix to stop damage from spreading.
There was another instance where they never showed up, and was told they weren’t interested.
Typical for big local business, only interested in big money projects.
I personally don’t want to pay for bloated overhead and high profit margins, it’s a big business.
His bid accounted for ripping apart the section of the house to the bones, roof, siding, some interiors.
Benefit of the doubt, three stars.

I called to get an estimate. They sent a very nice person out and were very through in estimating the work and laying out quick options. Ultimately the project was beyond our means, but given initial impressions I will certainly reach out again if we can figure out how to do this project, or any future ones.
