He was always straightforward and open during the entire process and adaptive to the inevitable changing of minds on all sorts of decisions made by me.

Everything you could want in a home builder! After my, as it turns out, poorly constructed house was damaged in the Nov 2018 earthquake, Wally made some immediate repairs to make it livable again while the damage could be assessed. He first came up with precise estimates for an extensive repair that included lifting the house off the foundation so that it could be replaced and then tie the house back to it. Ultimately I decided it would be best to just replace the whole house - which was a fortunate decision, because I saw first-hand just how much better the new structure was fabricated. The original house was only 30 years old, but the new one was built so much stronger that it seemed like 100 years in technological improvements had passed. Considerable attention was given to developing the site itself properly as well. Wally and his crews were first class, constantly providing information and advice on details. Wally has now built several homes that I've been in just in my little area of Eagle River's Skyline Dr, of varying sizes and design, yet all share the same exceptional quality and attention to detail that I've observed during the construction of my house. I have total confidence in Wally's honesty and sincere desire to construct a home incorporating an ideal mix of craftsmanship and value ... along with the peace of mind that it will easily ride thru any other quakes.
