Jason & his crew did a herculean job clearing our multiple rooftops of massive snow and ice after the past 3-4 months of continuous snow dumping and temperature fluctuations!

They dealt with wicked slabs of ice and compact snow on shingled and metal rooftops. Thankfully, they used proper safety equipment to ensure it was only ice and snow that made its way over the edges!

After the snow was off the rooftops, they did a great job clearing and carving out paths (more like tunnels!) for us to be able to get in and out of the house and detached garage safely.

Jason Novotny of Hiland Construction is a creative designer. Jason looks at your current house structure and finds better solutions that optimize living space in your remodeled home.

The subcontractors Jason uses did very good work. We asked Jason Novotny of Hiland Construction to make our house ADA compliant because of our 102-year-old father. He enlarged my father’s bedroom and bathroom doors for wheelchair access, making a pocket door for my father’s bedroom. We are very happy with the large wheelchair-access shower. The subcontractor did a beautiful job on the tiles in the shower. The electrician installed ideal lighting and convenient outlets in all of the rooms. Another good design of Jason’s was the mud area with storage and hat shelf.

Jason redesigned our crawlspace hatch, putting it in a very accessible area and made it larger. This was very important and much appreciated. He also placed a window in a different size and orientation in our dining area which opened up the space. He made a good choice of kitchen countertops. The kitchen was everything I wanted.Throughout our house, he used harmonious colors and door design.

Jason strong points are definitely his subcontractors, his creativity, his ability to redesign your house for optimal use, and his ability to keep in touch with you so that you know what is going on.

Jason and his crew were great to work with on this complete removal of the old deck and custom build of a new deck and stairs.

Jason was very helpful in selecting materials for a bathroom remodel. He has developed a great team of resources!! I look forward to working with Jason on my next project In a couple of months.
