I had an excellent experience with Veterans Roofing. Ryan C. from sales was incredibly helpful. He took the time to assess the condition of my old roof and really helped guide my wife and I through the transition, ultimately helping me select Williamsburg Grey shingles for the new roof, gutters, and compliance for solar. One can sense pride in his contributions and I even saw him again for parts of the big project day as well.

Owen and Connor, the project managers, were fantastic in keeping me informed every step of the way. They provided timely updates both before and during the project, ensuring I knew exactly what to expect and when. I appreciated how smoothly things went, the craftsmanship viewable with pictures in realtime, and how they managed their crew to complete roof remove and reinstall all in one day.
JR did an outstanding job with the gutters the following day. The black gutters really updated the look of the house and I appreciated that he considered my landscaping and draining concerns to final design.
Jordan did a comprehensive clean up of debris. I had some peace of mind that my kids were safe to play thereafter.
Finally, I’m really excited about the upcoming solar installation. Nick L. has been a huge help in coordinating the timing and logistics between solar vendors. He worked diligently to transition my old solar & lease to an updated system and to maximize compliance with new roof warranty.

It started out as a nightmare and ended as a dream. My house was only a year and a half old when the leak occurred that turned into several. The developer and original builder did not stand by their work, the insurance company did not cover it because of poor workmanship. This was my nightmare until I discovered Veterans Roofing. After several estimates I knew I made the right choice by hiring Veterans Roofing. From the very beginning, Ryan walked me through the entire process in detail all that was wrong with my roof and how they would rectify it, he went into the attic immediately upon first meeting because he did not want me to have any unforeseen damages…those were his exact words. Ryan was excellent from day one to the end and truly made the process much easier to deal with… As I was waiting for the new roof, Owen and Stefan placed a tarp on the side with the biggest leak so I would not have to worry about even more damage until my new roof. On the day of work, they kept me apprised every step of the way with pictures and written communication of each step. Javier and his crew were wonderful and very pleasant, they worked hard on a hot day and never complained. Everything was done in one day. They thoroughly cleaned the area not only on the day of work but came back the next day to make sure there were no nails. Owen even answered more of my questions thoroughly so I could have a clear understanding of the process.

Veterans replaced the roof, installed attic insulation and a new large front window in our house at Brigantine. From beginning through completion, they were always communicating status, regretfully informing us when there were weather delays and when work was done, constantly updating us of the progress with photos along the way. First my experience was with Taylor who guided me and made me feel comfortable threw the process and with the financing. They are very professional and helpful. Then I met Jim the supervisor and we walk around the house and check out everything that Taylor suggested things that would be done. Then he gave me a time they were going to show up. They showed up on Monday and start right away in 95 to 100 degree humid weather for days never stopped just kept on working. The progress on my home continued each day as it was nothing to them always sending progress reports and pictures of what was going on each day very professional. IF I thought of something that I would like done Jim would let them know and they would proceed to do it. JIM has a good rapport with his crew they are hard workers. This was avery comfortable process. I would definitely recommend them to anybody that needs work done.

Explanation of one star review,

I had an active leak in my bedroom, my roof was about 23 years old so we are getting close to a replacement time. Nevertheless I filed a claim with my insurance company as I had wind damage in the area of the leaks. They gave me an initial estimate of coverage. I then contacted veterans roofing for an estimate for a repair. The salesperson said they were only able to replace the entire slope not just fix the individual area of the leaks. Since that is half my roof and my roof is old, I also asked for a quote for full roof replacement. I felt pretty confident that I would at least get the quoted slope repair covered since veterans roofing said that was the only way to get it fixed. They came out and did an itel report and submitted it to my insurance company.

Insurance company ended up calling me stating that they submitted the itel report with a reason of wrong color match as a reason needed to repair the whole slope. This I was told by the insurance agent is not a valid reason for slope replacement in NJ and that wrong size or dimension should have been the reason for a full slope replacement.

I went ahead with the full roof replacement trusting that veterans roofing knew what they were doing in the insurance claims dept. So at least half of my roof would be covered. Turns out they could not resubmit or edit their incorrect itel report.

When I reached out to veterans roofing about this issue they said there is nothing they can do. So now I have a claim on my insurance company for an amount that is not worth filling a claim for. The lack of effort to make the situation right for their customer (who is a veteran) is the main reason for this one star review. I hoping this review will help other customers of theirs avoid my mistake of trusting the their insurance claims process blindly.

We had a fantastic experience with Veterans Roofing, an Owens Corning Platinum Preferred Contractor that employs many Veterans—a detail that was meaningful to us, as my husband is a Veteran himself.

Our home sits in a very windy, ocean-facing area in South Jersey, and despite being only four years old, our existing roof had a major leak above the living room fireplace. After several failed repairs by others, we were referred to Veterans Roofing.

From the start, sales rep Kevin Alberto was outstanding. He did a deep inspection and clearly explained the underlying issues: rotted plywood, loose shingles, and incomplete flashing. His transparency gave us the confidence to move forward.

Project lead Jordan and his crew were incredibly professional. Jordan began by carefully protecting our attic HVAC system, then provided ongoing updates with photos and commentary—giving us real peace of mind that the job was being done right. His leadership was calm, capable, and respectful to his team.

Cleanup was thorough, including a magnetic sweep to catch stray nails. From start to finish, the work was top-tier, and the customer experience was just as impressive.

Even with some spotty weather when others might have postponed the job, they arrived on time and handled our new roof without a problem. He started communicating even before their arrival. Veteran's Roofing is the best! Ryan blew us away with his roof inspection and consultation. He explained the whole process so thoroughly that we felt like we could install the roof ourselves. He explained everything down to what each material was and how they would be using it. He even had samples of the materials that he showed us. We had originally planned to get multiple estimates from different companies; however, after Ryan's consultation, we canceled all the other appointments and went with Veteran's Roofing.

The whole process was so easy. We were updated along every step with pictures and explanations of what they were doing through the group chat. They arrived first thing in the morning and got right to work. Both the roofing and gutter team worked hard and tirelessly. I cannot say enough about Veteran's Roofing. They replaced the roof on my garage and front porch along with the gutter guards. The workmanship and materials used were top notch. Nick, the project manager, and his team finished the work in one day. Nick kept me informed up to the minute with progress reports and photos of the work. He was always ready and eager to answer any questions I had.
Not only do they do great work but their customer service is outstanding. It started with their estimator, Sam, who spent over an hour on my roof on a cold January afternoon, then took about the same time to explain what I needed – with pictures! I had easy access to all the information afterward through their online portal.
During the roof installation I was doing early spring yard cleanup. As the team was leaving, they offered to take my yard waste. Nick even repaired the flagpole mount on my front porch. It had been sheared off the post a few days before in a heavy windstorm.
A day later, Paul came out to do a final inspection and “final, thorough cleanup” of my home. He used a magnetizer tool to pick up all the nails and metal shards left behind. He went up onto the roof and all around my house, including the back yard where no work was done. To clean around the bushes in front of the porch he blew the leaves and underbrush out to the curb, twenty-five feet away.
Mine was a comparatively small job. Yet I have not experienced this level of excellence, attention to detail, or regard for the customer in any contractor I have used in the past, big job or small.

Veteran’s Roofing was recommended to us by our friends. They could not say enough about the work they had done, so it was a no brainer for us to contact them. They put a roof on our barn. It turned out beautiful. So we contracted them to do the roof of our house, replace and build up an old window and to install 2 new glass door sliders in our den.
