They again did a great job. We had them come out and pull our pergola to fix an unrelated roof issue. They then returned and reinstalled the pergola. There were a few hiccups along the way but they were always nice and understanding and never discounted my concerns. I would recommend them 100%

Before Utah Awnings and Dan, my back patio was an eyesore to me and my neighbors. After the beautiful patio cover they have added, it is now a great entertaining spot for me and my friends. The craftsmanship and attention to detail is what will bring me back to their services again.

Seriously this is a very well run company. Great experience from start to finish, i wish it was always this easy with other companies. Strongly suggest if your in the market for awning related needs you should go to Utah Awnings. My install crew was also excellent i was very impressed.

Our entire new awning process from order to install was fantastic! Our sales person Steve was a great communicator, Saw Jockey associates that did our core drill work were great and the awning install team were just the nicest guys you could meet. They did a wonderful job, highly recommend this company. We LOVE our awning! It changed our backyard for the better

Assembly was good, my ques is spent alot on awning, after rain noticed half a dozen drip areas? Dont know what fix is cant stand on awning and caulk is not the answer it dries gets old and has to be re done,

Byron one of your installers removed and reinstalled my Awning to make possible the replacement of siding on my home from a hail storm. Not only the fact that Utah awning was one of the few company's that would actually do the removal and reinstall (most only wanted to sell a new awning. The installers were very punctual worked around the other contractors and did an excellent job.

My HUGE awning is perfect!
It feels like it added space to our house. I believe it is 16'x45'. Can't wait for spring to fix up the patio. We will be using the BBQ this Winter, though.

Getting our awning from Utah Awnings (UA) was a slow and frustrating process. We met with Conner back in April to get the process started. My wife and I decided we wanted to go through our city's permit process and Conner assisted with the build information. Once the permit was approved, our install was pushed out past the original install date given to us by Conner (the permit approval came in around the original install date). So, another several weeks to wait.
Once the awning was installed, we had the city inspector come out for the approval, who failed the install because it wasn't installed according to the plans UA had provided. We had to wait a couple of months while UA and the city tried to talk and figure out how to remedy the situation. Ultimately, UA needed to install the awning according to their original plan instead of the shortcut approach they tried. A second install team came back out again to make the required corrections that should have been done in the first place. So, finally after 6 months we have an awning- just in time for fall and winter.
Sure, we could have saved some money by not doing a permit. Sure, we probably could have had a "completed" awning a whole lot faster. But the fact is, UA tried building an awning that wasn't even secured to the structure of the house (you can't have 16" spacing and claim to be bolted to the 12" spaced studs) is what irritates us the most. I'm glad we went the permit route, because we had an unbiased person point out UA's attempt to install something other than what we were promised and had the clout to hold them accountable. Does the awning look good? Absolutely. But due to the unpleasant experience we had with UA, we won't be recommending them to anyone.

Stephen was excellent in helping us choose what we wanted and helping us through the process. Byron did our installation and we couldn't be more impressed. He did a great job on the install and cleaned up nicely each day before he left. If I could give them 10 stars I would. Very Happy with this company!

We have been wanting a covering over our sunny backyard deck and had been using popup tents which were ok except when the wind destroyed them, so we contacted Utah Awnings who gave us a bid. Wow!!...we are thrilled with the finished product!! It is much more than what we invisioned. Thank you to the hardworking installers who put everything together in two days. It is beautiful!! We just gained two more rooms to our home.

Couldn't have had a better experience. Steve was really helpful when choosing our design, and took the time to understand our concerns so that we could get exactly what we wanted and needed. The install date ended up being almost a full month ahead of schedule, which we are thrilled about. When we were told it could be installed in a single day I was cautiously optimistic, but Brendan and Tyler were able to finish in just over 5 hours in 100 degree plus heat. Bonus, they were patient with my very curious children. So happy with this process and result!

We just had our awning installed by Byron, and it was a great experience. He was early and friendly. He helped us with installing some flashing between the new awning and our existing porch, which is really beneficial to us. He also got the job done really quickly and it looks great! Highly recommend his services. Also, Connor has been very helpful with us in organizing our project recently. Good work!

I needed an old leaking awning replaced but wanted to keep the existing supports and couldn't find anyone who would do it until I called Steve at Utah Awnings. He inspected my old supports and determined they would support a new awning and gave me a quote. On construction day Jean and his crew were super friendly and did a great job putting the new awning up and cleaning up afterward. I couldn't be happier with the result.

Jean worked so hard to install this great looking awning. He was short a worker that day, but that didn't stop him from doing an excellent job. He went beyond the typical and made extra effort to clean up the job site and gave us some touch up paint if we needed it. He answered our questions and was responsive to our vision we had. The material used we feel was good quality and the color was exactly what we selected. Other companies didn't have the same color selection. Best value, best price.

We are so happy with the performance and product that Utah Awnings has provided to us. We love our awning and are enjoying it as a new addition to our home. I want to give a shout out to Steve and our Installer Brendan. Brendan was amazing. He also helped us to understand the process, explaining along the way. Brendan made sure that we were getting the best product from the manufacture possible. There were a few damaged items which needed to be returned so we could be happy with the job. Great awning, allows me to spend my time outdoors watching sports. KayCee and team got in and out quickly, even got it installed a bit ahead of schedule. Followed up with me whenever I had a question.

Utah Awning design and installed a 32' x 25' insulated Awning to cover my Backyard Deck and Patio. The project and final result turned out excellent and exceeded my expectation. The sales process was very good and the installation crew was of high quality and did amazing work. We absolutely l the rear or our home now and should have done this years ago.

We had a fantastic experience with this company. They were able to answer all our questions. They came ready with samples and pictures and made us feel very comfortable. We had another company come out 2 days before and they made us feel like we were wasting their time. The insller was polite watchhed out for our plants and other items in the yard he was fantastic.

The install team did a great job. You couldn't tell they were here. The install looks great. They cleaned up and did a great job.
They were even a couple weeks ahead of schedule.

I was in conversation with Connor for the most part of the process, and he did a great job assessing the space and giving an estimate for the awning. He was thorough and transparent through the process. Jean and his crew showed up and were very quick in completing the project. He shared in more detail what was added and what to expect with the new addition of the awning (as well as recommendations to continue to upkeep it). They stuck with the timeline given and completed it a week earlier than anticipated. Be patient with scheduling as it seems to me the challenging part of the process is getting the material. I believe with so much demand for material, residential projects seem to be last on the list as demands from corporations and businesses seem to be more of a priority. Overall, well done and highly recommend!

After I posted a not so favorable review in December due to some lost communication, I withdrew the review and this is my replacement. Utah awnings did a beautiful awning over a brand new deck I had built and over the top of an old concrete patio. KayCee was great to work with. He had to come out twice. First time was for an estimate before starting construction and the second was for a revised estimate as I made the deck bigger plus covered the old patio, plus I wanted to make sure the deck was braced and solid where the posts would attach. I felt good with the total second bid versus the original bid per square foot and materials were ordered. The install was completed and the awning is great as it is a western exposure. I would definitely recommend Utah Awnings and KayCee to anyone that is looking for an awning.

This is an update of my previous review. Initially I experienced issues with communication, as per my previous review. I would like to give credit where its due. I was able to communicate with Heidi, who was extremely helpful; she walked me through the process and expectations. I wish this type of communication/information was provided in the beginning by the sales representative. My job was scheduled and finalized last week, without any hitches. The City inspected the job and passed the permit. They did an awesome job, thanks! Sarah

Awnings in this climate are essential!! I would recommend these guys to anyone and everyone I know! They definitely over deliver on expectations. Best awnings in Utah hands down.

Absolutely terrible customer service. I sent an email asking about a project I had that I needed help with. They didn't take the time to connect with me about the project, they just emailed me and dismissed me. This was their response:
I'm sorry we are at the start of our busy season and are booked. If this is something you can wait for until winter we can do it for you?
If you don't want to wait that long we can understand.
I luckily was able to talk to a very nice person at another company that was able to schedule a time down the road with me to come give me a quote, and then we can schedule out the work. I'm not in any hurry and would've been willing to wait for the work to be completed had they taken the time to converse with me instead of totally dismissing me. I cannot recommend a company that won't even take the time to call a customer back. I wish this company the best of luck in the future, they'll need it if this is how they treat potential clients.

Horrible service if there is an issue with your awning don’t bother calling them they never return calls and don’t keep their promises when there are issues. They only give you good service when there are no issues I have been calling them for months about the drain on my awning not being installed correctly Steve never calls back and the office girl always says she will contact but they avoid you

Utah Awning installed a beautiful awning between my home and garage. From the beginning with Steve helping me decide which is the best way to accomplish what I wanted, to the installers doing a very nice job putting it up. I love it! Very happy with the whole process!

I love my awning but it needed a few adjustments. It took awhile but Daniel came, fixed the problem, cleaned out the gutter AND figured out a way to keep the leaves out of the gutter! Even Leaf Filter couldn't do that! He really went above and beyond! When I called the office to congratulate them on their wonderful employee I found out he is the owner!!! I was even more impressed that he was the one who took the time to help me and do the repair call! If I could give more stars I definitely would!

I can’t say more about Kaycee and his team. I have the most beautiful cover that gives the pergola feel, but with full cover! Kaycee is a master of color and service. You will get EXACTLY what you want!

We just had our awning installed and it looks amazing! It is so nice to have contractors that show up when they say and do a Great job. They were able to get us in 10 days before our scheduled day and they worked long hours until it was done which took 2 days cause it's a very large awning.

We had a new patio installed by Utah Awnings and we were impressed by every step of the process. After an accident with my carport I called several different contractors and wasn't really taken serious. I happen to see an ad by Utah Awnings and gave them a call. Kaycee came out gave a bid and after some back and fourth with the insurance company, he brought the contract to my place of work for me to sign which was awesome of him to do.

The carport turned out perfect and was done in one day. These guys are total pros!

We were extremely happy with these folks. They were very careful and their work was very good as the workers were particular with everything done. This is the second cover we have installed and we wished we would have found Utah Awnings for the first one. They even made corrections to the first cover that we could never get the other company to do and they did it at no extra cost. We highly recommend Utah Awnings especially if you want quality work and absolute support if there is a problem.

Although there were not many reviews for this company, at least we didn't find any bad ones as we did with some of the larger companies. This is partly what influenced our decision to go with them. It didn't hurt that their bid beat another one we got. This company was professional, prompt, and courteous from the day we got the bid to the day the awning was installed. In fact, it was installed about a week before the expected date and was finished in half a day. The awning looks great and seems durable. It hasn't been put through the rain/snow test yet, but because of their present performance, we expect that the company will stand by their warranty of five years for labor and lifetime for materials should any problems arise.

I had Kaycee come build an awning on the back of my new house and it was the BEST decision I have ever made! Now my kids love to play outside on our deck and we frequently host family bbqs. I would HIGHLY recommend Utah Awnings!
