Roof looks great. They were prompt and had my best interest when working with the insurance company. They stayed late to insure the job was completed prior to bad weather rolling through that evening.

I have tried to reach them for a copy of my invoice and they decline to respond. All they care about is taking your insurance companies money. Once they have the money they have no concern for you and they move on to the next victim of their BS sales scheme.

Never never never do business with these people. I was jumped, yes you read that correctly physically jumped by two employees who stay at the owners house. I have the police report if anyone wants to verify this. Here’s the photos of the trucks pulling away after getting punching in the back of the head! The company hires actual criminals. Do not let them near your house…things might go missing if you know what I mean.

Upgraded Roofing was referred to me by a family member and they did a good job with both of our homes. Ryan was easy to work with and communicative in working with our insurance company. He explained and shared pictures of our old roof's condition and was not pushy.

They were able to give us a new roof in less than 8 hours (we don't have the largest roof, but it was still impressive). There were some last minute repairs that weren't planned, but Ryan and his team were able to take care of the issues right on the spot.

Had a great experience with Ryan and his team. Our insurance at first denied the claim. Ryan encouraged me to be patient and assured me he was used to this and knew what hoops to jump through. Sure enough, he worked with our insurance and we just had a new roof installed yesterday paid for by insurance.

Ryan and his team are awesome. He knocked on my door. Was super respectful and not pushy. I was in need of a new roof and decided to let him do his thing. His team came out and knocked it out in no time. That was July. Fast forward to February and I noticed a leak in my ceiling. I called Ryan, he said they’d come out and fix it. Long story short, the leak was in a pipe that had nothing to do with the roof. His team was at my house for over an hour trying to find the leak. I felt awful. He and his team were super kind, said it wasn’t a big deal. They even gave some advice on how to tackle it. Five star service! Five star work! Highly recommend’

Jeremy Evans came by our house and offered to inspect our roof for free. I said knock yourself out but I check all businesses on the BBB. He thoroughly inspected the roof and noted a lot of hail damage from a storm last April. I liked what I saw during my research. We decided to hire Upgraded Roofing. Jeremy worked diligently with my insurance company. He answered all my texts and calls promptly. When we scheduled the install, the crew showed at 7:00AM and were done by 3:00PM. You wouldn't have known they were there except for the new roof (and sign in the front yard.) They had to work around an awning we have installed on the roof. I swear the awning is working better than it was before the installation. The insurance claim included replacing some siding. Jeremy had to travel out to Springfield to pick up a small section of the siding. He installed it himself. As for the shingles, we chose a silver color for a green house. Kind of unusual, but Jeremy didn't try to talk us out of it. As it turns out, the new roof is getting a lot of compliments from the neighbors. We were very happy with the whole experience and highly recommend Upgraded Roofing.

Ryan was very helpful in explaining and guiding us through the claims process. We were impressed with how much he was able to help with our insurance deductible, which was a lot higher than expected. Once the claim was approved and the paperwork signed, the repair was scheduled the next day! Work started at 7am and the crew of 6 was finished removing the old roof and installing all the upgrades, drip edge, and 30 squares of 3 tab shingles by 2pm. Cleanup was as pretty close to perfect, no roofing nails in sight! Thank you to the entire crew!

Recently had my roof, gutters, and gutter guard completed by Upgraded Roofing and it all went great. Ryan, one of the sales reps, made the entire process simple and efficient. He even came back the next day after the roof was installed to make sure all nails and other material was cleaned up. Couldn't recommend them more if you are having to go through this process.

Ryan DePaso, the company’s project coordinator worked with me and my insurance company to secure the best estimate that would cover a great deal of the cost. His diligence and determination was outstanding. He took the time to make sure I understood what was needed to make things work. He kept me informed all through the process of what was taking place. My comfort level and understanding for the process is important to me and Ryan truly answered that call with great dignity and assurance. His respect for the work and the customer was very apparent.
The amount of time it took to negotiate the best deal took less than a day. And 99% of the cost was covered by my insurance company. It was amazing! Absolutely blown away by Upgraded Roofing! Adam, their rep, was fantastic - he took care of EVERYTHING. He filed the insurance claim for us on Saturday, got it processed in a flash, and by Thursday of that same week we had a brand new roof on our house! Witnessed a truck from this business swerving all over the road. All four tires over the line on the shoulder where people walk and ride bikes. Way left of center into oncoming traffic. I passed him, and the driver had his phone in front of his face and never looked at the road. He easily could have killed someone walking on the side of the road. I'll never hire someone to work on my house if they drive this recklessly. If you have your companies name on the truck, you are representing the company. When I drove a work truck, my boss stressed this to all employees.

Worked with Tony and Mary with Upgraded Roofing and they were great! After everything was approved by insurance the roof was done in two days and really a great job. Install job was great and overall great experience, but our roof is black and they left a piece of brown flashing up. This was fall 2022. I've reached out to the owner, Richard, many times and got responses, often saying he would send someone out but no one ever showed up. He asked I wait through the winter (unsure fully why as they were still working on other homes), so I did and then reached back out in spring. Again responses saying someone would come but now he's stopped responding at all.

If you need a new roof or repair I would highly recommend this company. Tony and Mary are great to work with! Very professional, highly skilled, and compassionate about providing an excellent product.

John and his crew from Upgraded Roofing are the real deal. He was very friendly, informative, helpful, professional, and punctual throughout the whole process.
The roof was replaced in the time it was promised and it looks great. The cleanup was perfect also. No nails or debris and everything that was moved was put back into place when finished. I would highly recommend Upgraded Roofing for anyone looking for roof services.

5/15/25: Things are looking up now. We were contacted by Jack and James from upgraded last week. They explained some internal issues around communication they were having due to a change in ownership. That part is still disappointing that it took so long, but they do seem to be doing all they can to make it right, I will say they definitely took ownership. James and a crew were here the next day and quickly identified the issue. They made a temporary fix and we agreed to talk again after the next rainfall. It rained for a few days and we saw no new water coming in through the roof, which is great! I let James know about this and he and one of the team were here the next day (today) to make the fix. We have some inside issues to go over with James and team but I am impressed with how things have progressed in the last week.
While I look for perfection, I also judge people on their response when problems come up. The upgraded team is standing by their product at this point.

Too bad I can’t do less than one star.
My how things have changed since my original review. Just over two weeks ago we noticed water damage in an upstairs bedroom ceiling. There is no plumbing above the spot so I assumed it was a roof issue. I began calling and emailing upgraded right then, as of today I have not gotten a response to multiple emails or voicemails. A few days ago I found Shawn’s number and he answered right away. He let me know that had left upgraded but did not want to discuss specific reasons why. He also informed me that Richard was taking some time away for undisclosed reasons. He did give me a couple new names and said the company was still operating. He also took it personally that a job he worked on was having problems. Shawn was at our house the next morning and was able to quickly identify the issue that was a result of the installation. Shawn let me know he would also follow up with upgraded on our behalf since they will not respond to us. He is also working with his new company to see if they are willing to do the repairs since upgraded is choosing to ignore us.
Not only does the leak need fixed, but we now have the potential for mold in the attic, and multiple sheets of the ceiling will need replaced in the bedroom.
It is shocking to me that upgraded has not responded once to me and now Shawn to try to resolve this issue.

I just wanted to send a quick note on the roof you did for us last week.
From the beginning the project was smooth and painless. For the install we had some apprehension on not being in town during that week. Shawn was great with helping us through it, he stayed in contact and even sent us pictures during the job. Since we were not in town we had friends taking care of our pets, they were amazed at the efficiency of the crews, and the care they took to move items as they worked around the house. Not only that, but they could not believe when they showed up the following day to see that it looked as though no one was here. They had their roof done several months back by one of the large well known roofers in central Ohio. They are still dealing with issues from that install, and have had a hard time getting communication back from them. Also they are still finding debris on their property. I walked around and found nothing a few days after your crews were here.
To go along with the quality of the work, Shawn was amazing with working with our insurance provider to get us the best possible result.

UpGraded Roofing came out in a very timely manner to do an inspection after some high wind damage. The inspector was very professional and helped us file our claim. Within hours our claim was processed and approved! Our new roof was installed within a few days and looks amazing. They did a fantastic job and were done quicker than expected. Richard is great to work with. The original install (about a year ago) was great and he went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable with the final product. I recently thought I had a roof leak and Richard was at my house early the next day. After investigating, he found that the root of the issue was outside of his workmanship ( I agreed) and again, went above and beyond what he needed to do to fix the issue.

RIchard replaced my roof at his former company a couple of years back.
When we had some roof cap shingles blow off in the wind we had the last couple of days I reached out to him so I could call the original company and have them come out to fix the cap, I could not find their number anywhere. I contacted Richard and he informed me the previous company was no longer in business, but he would come by and fix it, which he did that same afternoon. My roof issue was not his problem but he took it upon himself to come help a former customer out.
