We hired United to do a major renovation of our church hall as well as some other projects around the church. From the very beginning we were deeply impressed with their professionalism, responsiveness, quality of work, and overall ability to deal with. They are quick to respond to a text/email or call, and are always ready to help trouble shoot a problem if it should arise. Their workers are all also highly dependable and trustworthy.

I cannot recommend United Contracting and Design more highly! They are professional, responsive, and provide very high quality services. We used them for a significant home renovation, including kitchen remodeling, extensive millwork, flooring, paint/wallpaper, electrical and redoing light fixtures, and plumbing--essentially the works. Throughout the process, Bes, Val and their team were highly professional, responsive, stayed within the project timeline and budget, and just generally wonderful to work with. Having completed several previous renovations, it's rare to feel so positively about your GC/crew at the end of a project, but this team is fantastic. And I would absolutely use them again.

From our first meeting with United through to the completion of the project -- the timing, the service, and professionalism of all involved was top notch.

We purchased a landmarked limestone, and worked with United on quite a large project of opening up our main floor and updating all of the outdated systems. We converted our 2 family row house into a single, which meant gutting the entire first floor of our house (while living there!). We removed and reconfigured a kitchen, added a bathroom, and redesigned the entire first floor footprint.

We found United’s prices competitive with larger companies, and found their customer service to be outstanding. There were many opportunities for them to “upsell” us, but they actually did the opposite – keeping us from adding unnecessary expense. We worked most closely Bes, who oversaw the entire project and was there every single day – and on the off-chance he wasn’t available, his partner Val stepped in. Bes and his team took our ideas for the renovation and created something far better than we could have imagined. The team was SUPER responsive (I never sent a text message or called them and didn’t receive a response within minutes) and they were enthusiastic throughout the entire project. Of course, with the nature of this kind of work there will always be “surprises” that pop up and need to be managed, but we never had an issue that arose that was not immediately addressed and resolved. I never once worried about being taken advantage of, and I know that they take great pride in their work. I rest easy knowing United will honor their workmanship for any future issues that could possibly arise.
