They were extremely helpful, prompt, and communicative! We are first time home buyers and had an offer accepted on a home with an older slate roof. George helped us schedule a roof inspection the very next day. We got a better understanding of the health of the roof, cost of maintenance, expected remaining life, and estimated cost for a full replacement. It was a great experience!

Needed a 4x4 section = 20ft of vinyl siding repaired/ replaced in Yonkers. I was quoted $2000 dollars, pretty much $100 a foot for vinyl siding and install. That being said they wanted 1500$ before starting the work. Never pay anyone beofer they do work, especially for $200 if that of material. I emailed them and let them know I was quoted by several other companies as I always do now with repair quotes and they were nearly triple the price. I figured a local business would give a fair price to a local homeowner. WRONG Their answer was thanks for the feedback. Over the years I've learned beware of these business that overcharge small home owners, instead they want to take all your money. Thanks for nothing

Made appointment Kevin arrived at 9:33am, left at 9:41am, did not enter the property/home. Stood in the driveway. Look at the photos I had on my phone, took pics of the roof from the ground floor, asked me to send them to him and said he would send a quote. Will not be doing business with them.

If I can give them a 0 star review I would. They are a horrible company that does bad work, and when you have a leak that they created, they will not come back and fix it. They are unresponsive and they lie to their customers, saying that they fixed something, even though they did not! I would never use this company again, nor would I encourage anyone as well!

I received quotes and consultations from 4 companies about some water/roof issues (my practice is to cast a wide net, as an entrepreneur), and Salvatore was very clearly the best of the best. First thing I could tell was that it is a family business, which I like. The owners clearly learned the trade before they could even drive, by sheer osmosis. I could tell they care deeply about quality, because they are a part of their family’s legacy. And that quality piece turned out to be true - their teams produce a sterling work product. My roof, siding, window seals, splash guards, all look as crisp as they would have when our home was first built, and no water has permeated since they’ve finished. Each and every guy on their work crew really knew what he was doing. My doorbell rang periodically when they wanted to show me any unexpected discovery, and to lay out the options. Had some flashing redone outside on my chimney. The workers were professional and did the work quickly. Water leakage seems to have been solved.

I will highly recommend Salvador and Son without questions. Salvador has replaced four roofs, a church and three house roofs for me.

We used Salvatore to repair a roof leak. They were fast in responding and patient with the permit filing process with the Village. We used them a second time for another issue, and they gave me a huge break on the bill when I offered to do the demo work before they came in.

Good work but the administration is difficult to deal with. I have to always call George. The accounting is a little flimsy. They never have my info correctly. They checked my chimney for
repointing, and cleaned my chimney.

We had a very good experience with this company and their people. We had a roof leak and was just a few days before a long family vacation. The staff came to our house next day and provided options. After we decided what to do and told him we had a vacation coming. The company sent workers two days before we planned to leave, finished the job. The job was great. We are very happy.

J. Salvatore and Sons have done copper gutter, downspout and roofing work, raised aluminum roofing and slate roof/tile work at my home. All of the work has been very professionally done and on schedule. I highly recommend them.

J. Salvatore and sons installed my roof with superior quality and crcraftsmsnship. I have what is called a Mansard roof. It is a flat roof. We fully replaced our roof down to the plywood. Our roof is very high, over 30 feet. The workers were super friendly and courteous. My wife was pregnant at the time and they went out of their way to accommodate her. They dismantled and replaced our roof in one day and did an incredible job. They installed high quality roofing materials and cleaned up the work site inside and out I highly recommend J. Salvatore and sons if you need a full replacement of a roof.

There are few things as enjoyable as a rectal examination, having your wisdom teeth pulled, or buying a used car. Though for many, needing to get your roof replaced might come to mind. This is how I felt, until I needed to replace my roof. But thankfully by happenstance, and a lot of research, I contracted with J. Salvatore & Sons. What can I say, they were not only incredibly professional, neat, lived up to all the promises they made, and did an incredible job, they did it all for a very fair price. And after all, isn’t that the Holy Grail? So, if you don’t want to get bent over, go through a lot of pain, or pay more than you should not knowing what may go wrong, by all means, go with a different roofing company.
