I called to get someone to give us a bid for 2 very large plate glass windows, 4 Gable windows and a window with two sliders than had broke its seal. The pud was offering a rebate. The lady I talked to said I needed to measure and send them a picture. Then they would give me a bid. I told her I wanted someone to come out to measure. She said they didn't do it that way. After I send measurements and pictures they would give me a bid and if I accepted the bid then they would come out. I told her never mind. I wanted to use a local business. Well they lost out on over 19 thousand dollar sell. I had to use Henderson and daughter out of Vancouver. Very happy with the results but sad that Twin City Glass wouldn't come out to bid. We have used them many times thru the years.

I called to find out the price on a windshield for a 2001 Blazer the guy was pretty rude when I asked why the price was $200 more than what was quoted at another place he said that's because that's how much it cost. Who quoted me $525 Hampton Auto Glass Vancouver set $309 in and out the door. I'll drive the half hour to Hampton Auto Glass in Vancouver

This is an amazing local business. We had shower doors installed by DaBella. The doors don't close properly. So, we have water on the floor after showering. We have notified the company numerous times with no results. I contacted Twin City and they came out to the house promptly. The follow up has been superb.

Fast, reliable, friendly service! Our son broke a huge picture window. I called, txtd pix per request, then they came out & measured. Glass was ordered & 2 weeks later installed. Saved us several hundreds of $ doing it this way rather than ordering a new window. Truck window now has a crack. They called & gave us an estimate same day. They don't take ins though...

I've ordered several pieces of picture glass from Twin City Glass since 2017. The staff are always helpful and kind. I'm most impressed by the quick turn around with having my order ready for pickup. The pricing seems quite reasonable as well. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is that they are a little inconsistent with providing my glass exactly to my dimension. It's within a 1/16in though. Thats fine for plenty of applications. However, I do know if you drop off your frame, they will make it to fit. Good place overall! They are my go to glass provider for my small projects

Never had a reason to come to this page until I was almost T-boned by one of their drivers. He neither used his blinker, nor yielded to oncoming traffic (in this case me) and almost collided with my rear driver's side area where my son was seated. As an operator of a company vehicle like that, I would expect extra caution on the driver's behalf, not the carelessness I witnessed and had to actively avoid.

Twin City is your best choice for glass. I had a bedroom window broken. Home depot came out. My quote was almost 1100.00. So I stopped at twin city. Ashley is amazing! She set me up with a free quote came in measured my window. Ordered it was told 2 and a half weeks. Well a week later my window was ready. It was 208.00. Total that is! Just a awesome group of professional people. If I got from home depot it was 3 month wait! I will definitely call twin city first before anyone! Thank you Ashley and crew for my amazing window and for your awesome service!

I stopped in at Twin City a couple of days ago and Ashley was kind enough to provide me pertinent information pertaining to a side mirror ....again, this time4a friends auto. Yeah I know knowledgeable and professional. Thanks again 4 good customer service!
Sev. years back, I walked in for a quote for a mirror for my car. Young lady provided answers for my questions, provided w/a written quote, was kind & professional. The business has a good reputation, the facility is sparkling clean, vans are nice looking and last but not least, the men that drive these vans are professional and know their stuff. The location stands out with a thumbs up from me! The business is impressive from the street! I recommend such local business!

Not at all happy with the service & Bob this morning. We tried calling and explaining our situation to Bob over the phone and he wasn't quite getting what we were saying and didn't seem to want to either. His response was basically that we were "SOL" and that he couldn't help us because he didn't want to try and think outside the box. My husband knew there was a solution and that plexi-glass would probably do the trick and wanted to make sure they could get us the pieces of Plexi that we needed and to see if maybe they had a different idea that would work better for our kanundrum. We decided to visit them in person and explain our issue and Bob still didn't seem interested in helping us at all. My husband drew him a pic and explained exactly what the problem was and Bob still was very "sorry for ya" ish and didn't seem to want to help. We finally just asked for 2 pieces of Plexiglass cut to the length we figured we needed, we paid for it and then they left us standing at the counter. Bob went to his office and the girls went back to doing whatever they were doing. We thought they had sent our request to someone in the shop since everyone dispersed after they got our $, but after 10 minutes, we asked when the plexi would be ready ....We hear Bob tell one of the receptionists "I'm not doing it right now!" Uhm......no one thought to tell us? When she asked him when they would be ready he very rudely said "I don't know, this afternoon sometime. We only have one guy back there so it will be done later." We were then told "They will be done sometime this afternoon - we will call you." I get people are short staffed and have orders to fill but to have such a "I don't care about you" attitude to us like he did this morning, is mind blowing. Granted this was only a $35 order..........but who knows how much business we would have brought back to them had this experience gone at least decent. To leave us standing at the counter for almost 10 minutes without letting us know no one would get to the order until we asked them was totally unprofessional. Bob was incredibly rude to us and really seemed to hate his job. We are a GC and we do A LOT of work in the Longview/Kelso and we will never ever go back there again. I will drive to Vancouver Glass in Vancouver from now on. Bob needs to retire or something because a people person he is not!
I do not recommend this place - especially if being treated somewhat decent is important to you.

I am going to be changing out all the Windows in my house from storm to triple pane. Before letting them do that work or telling them I had the bigger project I had them look at replacing a single pane (literally one piece of glass) at an apt I rented before buying my house. They couldn't give me a quote over the phone said they needed to come by first. When they came by they couldn't give me a quote on site and made me wait for a phone call. From the beginning I kept asking when it would be done they wouldn't give me a date of completion. When they called with the quote they wouldn't tell me when it would be done until after I paid them. So many red flags, so many things done to make it impossible to compare their prices with anyone else. I will not be using them for my bigger project and do not recommend them for anyone, house or apt. To the owner- realize some people give you small jobs to find out if you can do a big one. You lost a big project from me today consider changing how you do business if you want the small town of longview to support you. You best believe I will telling my friends and family word of mouth the same as above.

Went there with a ding on my windshield that was no bigger than a quarter the lady told me I would have to have a full windshield repair it hadn't spidered out or anything went back to my insurance place they set me up with Novus who came right out fixed it with no problem I feel Twin City Glass just tried to take me for a ride as well as my insurance company I will never go to them again and please be careful if the person reading this goes to them check it out first

Needed to replace the glass in our custom kitchen cabinets. All I had to do was deliver the actual measurements needed, and their cut piece worked actually better than the original.

these guys are awesome! I'm impressed with the job they did, and in less time than promised. certainly better at customer service than anywhere else in Longview.

My husband and I were headed to Oregon for the weekend and while on the freeway the weather stripping on our windshield started to peel off making a terrible noise and me a bit nervous. We googled and found twin city glass and called them up to see if they could help us. They told us to come on in and were so friendly and quick to assist us and get us back on the road. They took an unexpected, less than ideal situation and turned it around for us. Thank you all!!

We Answer Frequently Asked Questions
Pricing questions
1. What is the average roof replacement cost for a residential home?
+-

The average roof replacement cost for a residential home typically ranges from $7,000 to $15,000, depending on factors such as roof size, chosen materials, roof pitch, and labor rates in your area. Premium materials or complex designs may increase the price.

3. What factors affect the overall roof repair cost?
+-

Several factors influence roof repair cost, including the extent of the damage, roof accessibility, material type, labor costs, and whether it’s a general repair or an emergency fix. Minor repairs can start around $150–$400, while major repairs may exceed $1,500.

4. What is the typical roof leak repair cost, and how is it calculated?

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?
+-

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
