Have not been to Tupelo lumber in 30 years. It was great when I went. But I have been to the Rusted Bucket across the street. It was great. Love that place.

The people are GREAT... Still that home town approach to business & they have very competitive prices. Subtracted 2 stars because of the lot where you pick up your materials (see pic). Nothing short of hazardous ~ the employee bringing my rolls of concrete mesh wire got his forklift STUCK because of all the pits! It could probably be solved with 2 trucks of slag to fill in the pits.
Great people, but BEWARE of the pickup lot!

You need to give these guys a look. I got a better price on lumber than the big guys. They have plenty of men to help you load your lumber. I had help every step of the way. No heavy traffic to deal with.

Needed some 16” deck boards and I didn’t want to pay what Lowe’s and HD were charging for delivery. Called Tupelo Lumber and the deck boards + delivery was cheaper than just the wood at the chain stores. Told me it was backed up and likely wouldn’t be delivered until Monday. Delivery guy showed up exactly when they said he would and he even helped my step son move the boards into my back yard by hand and showed him how to properly stack them so they wouldn’t warp. Wonderful service would absolutely recommend.

Staff is excellent at what they do, orders are always on time, prices are high but quality of material is probably some of the best I've seen around this location!!
