Tru Restoration was fantastic to work with. They showed up to do a free roof inspection after a hail storm and provided a detailed report to share with my insurance company. They showed up when they were supposed to, replaced my roof fast and efficiently and cleaned up so well i couldn't tell they were there. Brian and Scott were great and always available for questions or concerns and very reliable. Highly recommend them for roof replacement.

Tru Restoration & Roofing took the worry away from me when my roof needed replacing due to storm damage. They sent the claim to my insurance company, including damage to gutters, downspouts, and vinyl they also found, and when the work was completed, they sent the insurance company the certificate of completion along with a photo. I paid my deductible and the insurance company paid the rest. My new roof, gutters, downspouts, and vinyl looks wonderful! It feels amazing to have a new roof. Brian was very professional and responsive to questions. He helped me with color selection for the shingles and when I had questions about the attic fan installation, he came out himself to check on it and fix it! I couldn't be happier! I did not meet Scott, who lead the work, but he did let me know immediately when they had trouble installing the corner pieces and that they would be back. Also the entire roof was replaced and we only found 2 nails left behind! That is AMAZING and SO appreciated since we have 4 dogs! I highly recommend Tru Restoration & Roofing! I highly recommend Tru Restoration. When I needed a new roof, I chose Tru Restoration because my neighbor had been pleased with their work and the company recognized that replacing my gutter cover might present a problem. (It didn’t, because they took the steps necessary to make sure it wouldn’t.) Brian Craft, owner/project manager, took the time to review options with me, and he communicated well with me and with the insurance company. His partner, Scott Hardy, the general manager, was onsite throughout to ensure the project went smoothly. The crew was friendly and detail-oriented as they removed the old roof, installed the new roof and fittings, and cleaned up, even using magnetic collectors to pick up every stray nail on the driveway, walks, gardens and grass. I recommend Tru Restoration highly and without reservation.

I had a new roof put on by Trurestorations in 2018. Recently I have had two leaks in the same place that I had before my new roof was installed. I called Scott at this company and could not get them out to come and inspect these leaks (5/6yesrs after they installed a brand new roof).
I was told my roof was out of warranty (5yrs). I said that was fine but would you inspect these new leaks and I’ll pay for it. No response from this company!!!

Absolutely first rate experience from start to finish! Brian Craft and Scott Hardy both kept me in the loop the entire time. All the workmanship was top quality, and everything was done in a timely manner. The new roof and new gutters look absolutely stunning, and I feel very lucky to have found this wonderful company! I would give six or seven stars if that option was available.

Due to a bad wind, hail and lightning storm which caused major damage to my roof, TruRestoration replaced my roof and did a wonderful job. We had a great experience with TRU Restoration. Brian was very personable, detail-oriented, knowledgeable, and professional. He explained the process, helped us with selection of shingles including new gutters and gutter guards. Brian and Scott’s crew was efficient and professional. They used a drone and took pictures to identify water damaged plywood that needed replacement. It was quite a mess but they did a good job of cleaning up all the nails and roofing material with minimal damage to our foundation plants. Brian and Scott kept in touch throughout the project and made sure the work was high quality and we were satisfied with the final product. We highly recommend TRU Restoration.

Had a shingle loosen recently from, so I called in and Scott came out within a few days to replace the shingle and make sure the rest of the surrounding shingles were sound and there was no risk of leakage! Thanks again for the great work.

I had such a great experience from start to finish working with Brian- from the initial roof inspection, filing all of the insurance paperwork, meeting with the agent, to the installation. He was communicative, the install team did a great job & took care of the yard/home, and he made the paperwork process very easy. I would highly recommend!

Based on past experiences with roof replacements, the outstanding features of this team include a congenial relationship with the customer wherein Brian becomes your advocate for the best solutions, materials etc. for your new roof as well as coordinating all of the natty processes with your insurance company. The work product was first class and was completed ahead of schedule. We were apprised of the progress with the pictures from their Drone which was really cool. We would hardly recommend this company to our extended family, friends and anyone when the need of a for a new roof arises.

We recently had our roof replaced by Tru Restoration after sustaining hail damage. Brian was great to work with! They have a ton of experience working with insurance companies, he kept us informed throughout the entire process, and even accommodated our schedules. Their crew was also very impressive! They showed up on time, completed the entire job in one day, and their work is top notch. I’m a perfectionist and I couldn’t find one blemish. They even came back the following morning to do a second debris sweep. I don’t anticipate needing another roof replacement any time soon but I would certainly use Tru Restoration again and I would highly recommend them!

Tru and Brian were great to work with. They came out and inspected my roof for hail and wind damage, answered all of my questions directly, handled forms submissions and communications with my insurance company, and installed the roof with no noted issues as of this review. Recommended.

Tru Restoration replaced the roofs on my house, garage, and two out-buildings. The roofs were over 25 years old and had significant damage from severe weather over the past two years (wind, hail, hurricanes). Brian Craft was very professional and easy to work with. He is knowledgeable of the inspection and insurance processes, and he helped me to file a successful claim with my homeowners insurance company. Brian and the work crew from Tru Restoration were always on time when we had an appointment to meet. All four of the roofs were completely removed and replaced, with total cleanup, in a day and a half. The job foreman walked me around the site and explained how the work would be done, including improvements to edge flashings. I am very happy with the quality of the work, the new roofs look great, and my only out of pocket expense was the deductible of my insurance policy. If you need roofing work done, I highly recommend Tru Restoration.

Brian Craft and Scott Hardy, the business partners/owners of Tru-Restoration, exceeded my expectations this week when they replaced my roof; and I owe Brian a huge thank you for me bringing to my attention that due to a hail storm that hit our area 3 years ago, he could help me get a FREE roof. I had seen the Tru-Restoration placard on the side of his truck several times as he drove past my house. It turned out he also lived in our Berewick community in SW Charlotte. So when he left a card on my door for a free roof inspection, I gave him a call. Best decision I’ve made in years!! My home is 13 years old and not knowing better, I believed what everyone believes, their roof cover is good for a minimum of 20 years, right? NOT SO. In the matter of a few days Brain inspected my roof, showed me photos of hail damage that had significantly shortened the lifespan of my shingles, contacted my Insurance carrier, contacted and scheduled an Insurance Adjuster to inspect my roof (with Brian up on the roof pointing out the proof of damage), filed the necessary paperwork for me with historical weather detail and storm detail specific to my claim, and followed up with the Claims adjuster repeatedly until a check for the entire cost of a roof replacement arrived in my mailbox from my insurer. Oh! Did I mention that the insurance company that paid for the roof is not even my present insurance carrier anymore?! We changed to a new company last year; and yet the insurance co. during the time of the “weather-incident” were still on the hook for the entire cost. I had not lifted a finger, made a single phone call or met with anyone other than Brian, and I had the check in hand to cover the entire cost. Within two weeks the Tru-Restoration crew was at my home and replaced my roof. The crew arrived on time, took extreme measures to cover all my landscape beds and lawn with tarps to catch the removed roofing materials, worked non-stop for 10 hours for 2 days and when they left, I could not find a single piece of evidence they had been there – EXCEPT for a beautiful new, dimensional, architectural shingled roof. Trust me, I am a very particular home owner who maintains one of the nicest lawns and homes in the expansive Berewick community, and these guys surpassed my every expectation! A free roof inspection costs you nothing, and possibly, the same will be true for you getting a new roof. Call Tru-Restoration and speak with Brain or Scott. It will be one of the best decisions you’ve made in years!!!

Amazing experience with TRU Restoration from beginning to end! Brian was very friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. He guided us through the whole entire process and the result was perfection! He was very detailed and made sure that all our hail damage was fixed. His crew was efficient, professional and did a nice job of clean up. Project was completed in one day!! Insane, considering the quality!They even returned the next day to make sure to pick up any loose nails. Brian always kept in touch throughout the project, making sure he answered any of our questions and that we were satisfied. 5 star rating to Tru Restoration and Brian Craft. 1st time roof replacement on a large house with many facets and steep pitch and I couldn't be more pleased with the work. Brian Craft has customer satisfaction and quality work at the forefront. Brian guided me through the entire insurance claim process which including him accompanying the claims adjuster up on the roof to represent my concerns. Brian showed up with the crew on the scheduled start date and introduced me to the entire crew working my job. Whether Brian was on-site or not, the crew followed what was a well schooled routine of shingle removal, wood replacement if necessary, and installation, including cleanup on a daily basis. I should note that there was no money down to start the job; contracted amount only paid upon satisfactory completion of the work. Would I use Tru Restoration/Brian Craft again and recommend them to others needing roofing work? You bet I would.

He squeezed in our job when he had a cancellation so we did not have to wait long. His work team completed our 2000 sq ft ranch roof plus a 2-car garage roof in 1 day. Everything looks great!

During the heavy rains of Hurricane Michael, water began leaking into our master bedroom. I called two contractors for quotes. The first contractor indicated there were multiple issues with our roof due to the roof being 15 years old and shoddy construction by our builder. He did not see enough weather damage to justify an insurance claim. The second contractor, Brian Craft with Tru Restoration, agreed with the first contractor’s assessment that most of the issues were due to typical wear and tear over 15 years as well as shoddy construction. However, he did see a few tiles with wind damage and thought there was enough damage to justify an insurance claim. Brian has experience on the insurance side of the business and was able to walk me through the process of filing an insurance claim. He provided me with all of the information I would need, even the phone number to call to submit my claim. He made the process quick and simple. He arranged to be here the morning the insurance adjuster arrived so he could get on the roof with the adjuster and point out the damaged tiles that they might have otherwise missed. Given there were only a few tiles damaged, my insurance company would not pay for an entire roof replacement but they did agree to pay for half. Had I gone with the first contractor, I would have paid 100% out of pocket. In addition, Brian’s quote came in $500 less than the other quote. And as a bonus, Brian is a genuinely nice guy that I trust and enjoyed working with. He was very patient with me as I asked a lot of questions, sometime taking my calls late in the evening. The day of the roof replacement went very smoothly. The crew showed up at 7:30AM and finished the job around 5:30PM that same day. The crew was professional, friendly and did a great job cleaning up. The roof looks fantastic and I no longer have to live with a bucket in my master bedroom! I highly recommend Brian and Tru Restoration!

Tru Restoration is an excellent company to work with! They helped me with every step of my roof replacement - from initial damage assessment, assistance with insurance claims filing, and ultimately replacing my roof. They were honest, professional, prompt, and detail oriented. The roof is top quality and I highly recommend them!

I used this company to replace my roof. The roof was replaced and it looks ok. However there were a lot of short cuts taken to save them money. So they could keep the extra money from the insurance pay out. I know this to be a fact only from talking to some of their other customers. Because they contracted their work out you don’t know what kind of crew will come to perform the work. Unfortunately I did not get a good crew. They did not take the time to protect my house or shrubbery. So when they stripped the old roof off it damaged things on the house and the shrubs. The damaged included outdoor lights, screens and many window wraps and vinyl siding as well as gutter guards. The owner did refund some of my money for the damage but it was not enough to repair it all. Overall it was a bad experience.

I could not get to her house to send in pictures or receipts and he did it for me as my mother is in her 80's and had no use for technology. Brian did a great job with the insurance inspector, and we got a new roof and gutters for only the cost of our deductible. A couple years back, on a very rainy day, I noticed the sunroom portion of my house was severely leaking. I called Tru Restoration and immediately someone answered the phone. After explaining the situation someone was sent out to look at my roof and arrived within hours. It was determined there were leaks and to contain the water damage they filled the holes until someone could come out and make a formal assessment of the roof. The whole process from start to finish was profession, quick and I couldn't have asked for better service. I was so happy with my experience that I have referred them to several others who did use them and were completely satisfied. Great company and they get the job done. Highly recommended!

I was referred to Tru Restoration by a friend. I am a novice home owner and I ask a LOT of questions. The whole process, from inspection, insurance, build and final details was handled professionally and with the highest level of customer service. Jamie Davis, who was my project coordinator was spot on during the whole process and obviously knew what he was doing. He had a great crew and managed them well. I called this company 3 weeks ago and told them I was referred by someone who had a positive experience. I wish I had the guys name I spoke with,but all I know is he spoke really fast and didn't really seam to care about what I had to say. All I wanted was to have someone put new gutters on my house.
