I am a staff member at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Skagit County, and for years TRICO has been a tremendous partner of ours. TRICO is an incredible financial supporter of our organization, however their supports extends beyond that in so many ways. Including providing our organization access to the fantastic Brian Wolfe Safety & Training Center, which has allowed us to increase the training opportunities for our staff. On top of all that, the people that work there are wonderful and kind, and always a pleasure to interact with! Thank you TRICO!

Baker Silo has worked with TRICO Companies on numerous projects over the years. They have a great team and strongly suggest TRICO as a general contractor for commercial projects.

Great, knowledgeable, contractor to work with. TRICO helped us with a large site development project that was too challenging for others and they not only exceeded our expectations, but they came in under budget. Their crews were professional, accommodating, and didn't mind us micro-managing. I can't wait for the next project to work with Andy and Nate again.

Tricor and Greg Norton did a great job for us on a couple of different projects. We were up against a timeline and we were stuck in a hard place. Greg and The Tricor Team came in with a far better bid, saved out timeline and came in on budget. They have now done a few projects for us, and we will continue to use them when we can.

Was a pleasure working with Greg and Andrea even though we ended up going a different direction.
They were very responsive and took it upon themselves to go above and beyond supplying us with some drone footage as to what our project could look like.

I manage the Burlington Branch of Iconix Waterworks. We were having some issues with our windows leaking. I contacted Trico for possible window replacement. Not only did they come out the next day but despite the fact that they could have replaced my windows they were honest and told me it was a minor issue that could be resolved for a lot less money. They scheduled the work right away and came out and fixed our leaking issues. They were fast and professional and did a fantastic job as always. We have used them in the past and I will definitely use them for any future issues or projects we need done. If you choose Trico for your project I have no doubt you will be completely satisfied and well taken care of. Wonderful company and their people are top notch!!

This company caused water damage on November 12, 2021. My husband had to spend time digging out ditches just to make sure that the water had somewhere to run because the engineer of this project in my neighborhood told his employees to cover up all the ditches with dirt, which caused all the water to run like a river down the hill and into our driveway and into our garage which caused water damage. I've been waiting on their insurance company to get ahold of me to take care of this and I called some time last week to find out what was going on and the person in charge said he doesn't know because he handed it over to their insurance,
so I told him ok could you please find out what's going on and he did ok and I gave him my name, email address, and phone number and I haven't heard anything from them at all!! So it's been over 16 business days and I'm starting to get frustrated.

We spent a year and a half making our decision to hire TRICO, and in retrospect it was absolutely the right decision. TRICO's motto is "thrill the customer" and they live that motto day to day throughout the organization. TRICO helped our company, Eddyline Kayaks, to renovate a building shell and turn it into a manufacturing plant. TRICO has done much larger projects than ours, but they never treated us "small". We had the attention of the entire team. They came in on time and on budget*. They overcame a number of unforeseen obstacles through rapid creative problem solving. And they were pleasant to work with across the board. I'm happy to provide them with an unreserved recommendation.

A Trico dump truck dropped gravel on 5 and cracked my windshield. I contacted the company and I was told that it was my responsibility to fix it. It is their policy to not get involved. I would not do business with a company that does not take responsibility for damage they cause.

Pricing questions
1. What is the average roof replacement cost for a residential home?
+-

Several factors influence roof repair cost, including the extent of the damage, roof accessibility, material type, labor costs, and whether it’s a general repair or an emergency fix. Minor repairs can start around $150–$400, while major repairs may exceed $1,500.

4. What is the typical roof leak repair cost, and how is it calculated?

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?
+-

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
