The entire team at Tr-Star Construction was great and their work was excellent. The workers showed up on time each day and were very courteous. We had Tri-Star put in new windows, a new roof, a new steel side door and a complete redesign of our front door and moldings. They even did some bathroom work for us. Everything came out great! Tri-Star took my beloved home that was a little tired and gave it a much-needed refresh by redoing: the kitchen, new wood floors, all the doors, gutters, fresh paint color, a new ladder for the attic, and more! My aging mother on Staten Island had recently been ripped off by a contractor from NJ. Additional work needed to be done on some window frames and the walls around them. I wanted to be involved so that she didn't get ripped off again, however, I live on the opposite coast, so my help was from afar. A friend suggested Tri Star. I decided to phase the job so that we could call STOP after the Phase 1 IF we weren't satisfied with Tri Star. They did the job, my Mom was pleased. I just traveled back and viewed the job myself: looks great. Thank you Tri Star.

The wonderful office staff helped me choose tiles, colors, and all the fixtures. Leo and his talented, professional crew (Miguel and Ricardo) made this complete demo a bearable experience. They showed up every day, worked steadily, and completed my bathroom within the estimated timeline. Miguel and Ricardo worked with my wish for an uncommon tile design (vertical subway) and did a great job! This was my first big renovation -- I was scared, nervous to undertake this big change -- but it was a good experience and I wouldn't hesitate to call Tri-Star again for my next project!!

The best there is! Very reliable and do what they promised. I would definitely recommend them! I rarely leave reviews but they are worth spreading the word! Everyone in the office is always very nice and so patient with scheduling.

My husband and I have used Tristar three different times. Last month we had the stucco redone on our house there were many repairs that had to be made the workers that did the job did an amazing job. In my original review below, I mentioned that we'd definitely used TriStar again for other work. Well, about a week so ago, they finished a gut renovation of our full bathroom. It came out absolutely spectacular. It isn't a big room- about 10 x 5 feet, but the work done was amazing.
The job took 12 days (work days) and the level of meticulousness was incredible. Mike and Manuel also left each evening and you'd barely know they were there- cleaning up each day.

First, I chose TriStar because a neighbor of mine had used them some years ago for a number of projects, and a neighbor of my mother's used them for large bathroom renovation.
So I need a major roof renovation. Not only did three layers of shingles need to come off, but I was sure some of the underlaying wood would need replacement. Sure enough, all of the 44 year old underlayment needed replacement. (It was in horrible shape.)
The team from Tristar did the job in two days and left my property as if they had never been there. Not only does the roof look great, but they did an awesome job cleaning up as well.
Everyone from Max, his office staff, and his work crews are nice, friendly, and professional.
We'll definitely be having them back for some other work that needs to get done.

I had windows replaced. From the beginning everyone was professional. Two representatives came out and explain to us the best windows to get. My wife and I visited the showroom to see what we was getting, and it was explain to us how to move or adjust the windows. The installers arrived on the time they said, cover up our furniture to protect it, then cleaned up all debris from the job inside the house and outside. Everyone was excellent. I look forward to doing more business with Tri Star Construction.

We have worked with Tri Star Construction previously to replace our front door and the quality of work and professionalism has not changed. I was getting the gutters replaced at my home and it rained earlier in the morning and expected them to postpone to another day which was fine. The rain let up and the team was in front of my door ready to get the work done like it didn't even rain. I was also getting my HVAC system replaced and they worked with the other team to not be in each others way which was fantastic.

The team completed the job just before 5pm and cleaned up as if they were never there. It was a great experience and look forward to working with them on another future project.

Recently had my basement Bilco doors replaced. It was time. Max gave me a great price and his worker, Mike, did an outstanding job. He went over and above in making sure everything was just perfect. When I need a project done, Max is the only one I would call. Spotless cleanup.

I called this company some years back to replace some siding that blew off the house. Tony, a siding representative sent by Tri Star requested and was given a piece of siding to match in which I was going to purchase a box for him to use and I would save the extra pieces if needed. I not only never heard back from him but my attempts at calling Tri Star for him to respond back also met with him not returning my calls.

TriStar was great! They showed up on time. Worked very clean. Everyone from the salesperson, administrative support, to the installers/carpenters were all knowledgeable, professional and friendly.

I had two basement windows replaced and two were closed using clear glass blocks. The lead time from estimate to work done was about 5 weeks. The workers arrived on time. They were professional and courteous. The job was completed in one day with 3 workers. They cleaned up and removed the debris. I highly recommend using Tri-Star Construction for your home improvement alterations. I needed 2 sliding patio doors and went to the showroom, which at the time, I didn't realize that an appointment was needed and the showroom was locked. However, Max Mannino, the owner caught me as I was walking away from the showroom to their parking lot and opened the showroom up. He was very patient in explaining the differences between the brands of patio doors that they had on display. He never rushed me and answered a barrage of questions. Armed with the information I needed I called a few days later to place an order. Max came to my home to take the necessary door measurements and gave me an approximate delivery date. When I received a call my order was ready we set an installation date. The installation crew was very respective of my home; they put tarps down on the floor and made sure that at the end of the day all debris was cleaned up and taken away. There was one glitch however, where the patio doors were too noisy when opening and closing them so I discussed my concern and Tri-Star sent another crew out to make the adjustments necessary so that they slide seamlessly and quietly now. Excellent follow up skills. and Excellent communication in the back office.

Max explained everything that would happen very clearly and answered all my questions. The crews were professional and very skilled. Great craftsmanship! They cleaned up thoroughly.

Awesome place to go to for windows replacement! From the beginning to end, the service was seamless! I called to get a quote end of March, and installment was done end of mid June. The workers took 1 full day to replace 4 big casement windows for my house. They were very detailed and professional. The cleaning part after the installation was hassle free. Don’t think! Hi, from beginning to end my experience with Tri Star was very good. I spoke with Max originally and he gave me details of what they would do and when work could be started. I had 7 windows replaced. The men, Tino, Jose and Gerardo were professional and did a great job. I couldn't open my old windows, these are perfect. The men worked all day with windows and putting a bar in my tub and an oak piece in my kitchen. I am very satisfied and if I need anything else, I definitely would call Tri Star. Hands down the best contractor we have worked with so far. We have done 3 major projects on our house and moving forward Max and his team will always have our business. From review to completion, working with Tri-Star was a pleasure. Because of the needed concrete work, Max helped me understand the coordination that was needed. There was no GC involved. This was major rehabilitation of a porch roof that included reframing, leveling, insulating, structural columns, electrical, siding and gutters/leaders. In the end, I was very happy with the work. We had our 1956 kitchen and bathroom completely renovated. They turned out beautifully!! We couldn't be more pleased. The whole process, from meeting with Max to pick out the materials and discuss all the design details to talking to all the girls in the office who were so pleasant and helpful to having Mike doing such beautiful work, was a much smoother experience than we had been warned about by friends. I was in need of new garage doors, so I called Tri Star they installed a roof three years ago. I contacted Tri Star to do the job and they were quick, professional and the price was excellent. Have had three projects completed recently by Tri-Star. A new roof; resituated an outside vent following Hurricane Ida and replaced the front door. Each project was handled expertly by Max and his staff. The office staff were wonderful to deal with and were always ready to help. The construction staff were very professional and took great pride in their work, making sure that everything was done correctly. The cleanup regimen was exceptional, and there was no debris left inside or outside of the house. I would highly recommend Tri Star for any and all home projects, their reputation proceeds them and it is well deserved, and I would consider no other company.

I called a neighborhood contractor to get a estimate on replacing the current gutters leaders etc. The individual said he'll call me back in a few days with such estimate. I waited a week no call so I was scrambling to find a Gutter Service and I realized Tri Star did roofing and Gutters as I had used them years back for a drop roof. I called the office and the office staff is very organized and prompt as I was given a time/date they would send someone to take a look at the job in hand. Leo was the gentleman who came to look at the job and I mentioned the front fascia board probably needed to be replaced and maybe other area's as well so he said he'll note it for pricing the job. Leo said the office will contant me in a day or two which the office did call and email me the proposal/estimate which was very reasonable and fair so I called the office to agree /schedule the job . Leo came back to the office for me to sign the contract and for a deposit on the job. He said the office will call for scheduling and it was schedule a day later . The crew showed up on time and started right away and as I figured there was an additional 60 feet on rotted fascia board on the top level which the guy did a great job to get off put up new pressure treated board and recap which was listed in the contract at what cost so it wasn't a surprise. They rolled out the new 5in seamless gutters from the back of their truck and up it went. They got the gutters up in one day but had to come the next morning to put the elbows and leaders on. They would have finished in one day but ripping off the rotted fascia was labor intensive and took 2 hours alone. They cleaned up so well and did a detail and thorough job . I highly recommend Tri Star as they're reliable and fair with pricing and no upselling . The office staff is prompt and responsive and the work crew as well

Over the last few years I've used Tri-Star for a number of projects, ranging from railings and gutters to door and window replacements and even a basement ceiling, and through it all I'm ever more impressed by the quality of their work and attention to detail. They go far beyond the extra mile to ensure satisfaction, gladly coming back to address any concerns, even well after the job was done.

I really had a good experience with Tri-Star Construction. They installed 9 windows, a patio door, a storm door and a front entry door. They came when they said they would. The workers were extremely clean and I liked that Max, the owner came each day to check up on the work that was being done. I would highly recommend the company.

If you need any type of window replacements or anything related to windows, Tri Star is highly recommended! Excellent service and professional staff! The custom made windows are beautifully done and I can not stress how well John and his crew installed for the windows.

I just had the worst experience with a construction service provider ever! The representative from Tri-Star arrived at the home to provide a quote for some construction work. A tree had fallen on the home causing significant property damage.

The representative arrived and within 5 minutes of him arriving he told me that since the insurance company was involved that I MUST WORK WITH HIS third-party public adjuster or else he would not assist. I informed him that I was aware of public adjuster services but that I wasn't going to use one.

The representative of Tri-Star then began arguing with me and telling me that I didn't know what I was talking about because he's been doing this for years. HE THEN SAID HE WOULD NOT GIVE ME A QUOTE UNLESS I WAS GOING TO WORK WITH HIS ADJUSTER. I told him that I called him for a quote and to just inspect the property let me know what he would charge for his construction services to repair the home. HE THEN QUICKLY AND RUDELY, WITHOUT INSPECTING THE PROPERTY, RESPONDED THAT HE WOULD CHARGE $50,000. HE SAID THIS AFTER HE HAD BEEN ON THE PROPERTY ABOUT 10 MINUTES AND HAD NOT INSPECTED THE PROPERTY OR LOOKED AT THE DAMAGE.

AT THAT POINT I ASKED HIM TO LEAVE. HE THEN STARTED YELLING THAT "DOESN'T NEED ME" AND THAT UNLESS I AGREE TO WORK WITH HIS ADJUSTER THAT HE WAS NOT GOING TO PROVIDE A QUOTE. At that point, I just went inside the home.

I called Tri-State to inform them of what occurred. I was told that they would let the owner know and that someone would call me back. I have not heard from anyone. Nor do I have a quote from this company, instead I had a waste of time.

After 25 years, it was time to update our kitchen. From the minute we met Max at the showroom, it was a positive experience. Max took the time to listen to our ideas and had the patience to show us better choices. He is truly an expert on getting the most out of the space you have. His workers are absolutely the best, professional, respectful, neat and hardworking. My kitchen was transformed in 3 weeks, and lets not forget Monique who was terrific on answering whatever additional questions we had right away and kept us updated on any information regarding our project. My husband and I are beyond happy with the way our kitchen came out, and if you really LOVE your house, you should have Max and his amazing team at Tri-Star Construction do your next project.

Repeat customer and will keep coming back. We had Tri Star replace our gutters and downspouts a few years ago, after the company who did our roof said they couldn’t do the job. It was done well, on time and were most impressed with how the crew cleaned up after themselves - they left no evidence of them being there. Also, with the gutter guard system they installed, the landscaper we use to clear leaves annually has said there’s been nothing to remove.

When we had a vacation cancelled due to the pandemic, we decided to work on the house instead. Tri- Star’s agent, Max, gave guidance on some projects that we could handle ourselves with some elbow grease and internet research, saving us a bundle. We determined to focus on our drafty doors and leaky windows first. Tri-Star’s quote was similar, a bit higher, than the box stores, but within our comfort zone. The materials, fit and finish is far superior to work I’ve seen on nearby homes. For example, the way our doors and windows are framed and trimmed show the skill and craftsmanship of experienced tradesmen who clearly used extra materials to ensure a clean, quality look. I had one follow up call for a minor adjustment on a sticky deadbolt lock and the crew came by the next morning to address it. Overall very happy with the work done and will make Tri Star our first call for the next job(s) we have planned.

My family has had multiple projects done by Tri Star and have never been disappointed most recently a complete kitchen remodel which we love. It was a big job done very professionally in a timely manner. From the planning stage with Max right through the construction to the final product everything went smoothly 5 stars we couldn’t be happier

I'm a big fan of TriStar TriStar has done lots of work in my house and I am very happy with the work that they have done just recently TriStar install a storm door the storm door looks very strong and a lot of my neighbors have admired the door and the work from here on any work that has to be done in my house will be done by TriStar
