Charlie was a pleasure to work with! After noticing water in my basement again, even after regrading, I called Calco, thinking I needed to relocate a downspout. Charlie quickly diagnosed the real issue; a blockage in the existing downspout, which he cleared right away.

He explained that relocation wasn’t necessary, but completely understood when I insisted for peace of mind. Charlie really knows what he’s doing, he is honest and efficient. He has my business for life!

Charlie from Calso came out immediately tafter I called to look at my job of putting a gutter and downspout on the side of my house. He return the following day and installed these perfectly. He also installed the facia board and covered it with aluminum. This will help it last for a long time. His price was reasonable. He is a good communicator besides being a great installer. I recommend him strongly.

Charlie was very responsive and completed a custom made 6“ seemless gutter with gutter guards in less than a day. He also did some aluminum flashing on the roof. Prices were very reasonable and he even followed up after it rained to make sure everything was working ok. I highly recommend Calco!

I passed one of their signs on Staten Island and gave them a call. Charlie was responsive and quick and came same day to provide a quote. We had an emergency, the gutter de attached from the roof, and with high winds it was almost falling off. Charlie came right away in the evening and fixed it even though it was dark. Very grateful for that. He was very professional and friendly. Would highly recommend him.

I'm always skeptical when it comes to any kind of contracting work, estimates etc... but Calco was a bit different. Charles priced the job and beat the other 2 quotes by $1800 dollars. From the first call to the end of the job was 48 hours. Didnt deal with any usual contractor stories. Quality material and quality work - highly recommend 10 out of 10

I needed my gutters replaced and Charlie showed up same day within 20 minutes of my call to give us a quote. We were set to go to work the next day. We got hit with snow but Charlie stayed in touch with me every day until the weather allowed us to continue. He and his crew arrived on time and finished quickly making sure to clean everything away afterwards. I did speak with other companies on the island before contacting Charlie and he was the only person to actually go on the roof and see what we needed done. All the others just looked up from the front of my house, told me the wood was rotted and it would be expensive, and tried selling me on things i didn't need. Charlie informed and showed me the wood was not rotted and there was no need for other items to be added. Thank you Charlie for being honest, taking the time to actually see what needed to be done and making sure your clients don't get taken advantage of. We will continue to call you for any other work that has to be done in our home.

My gutters were an absolute nightmare. They hadn't been serviced or cleaned in ages. Charlie and his crew came in and replaced all the gutters and repaired some rotted wood behind the fascia. I want to give a shout-out to Charlie. I called him last minute when my parents' neighbors called about a loose gutter. It was very loose - hanging on by the cable wire. Charlie got there in 45 minutes, and 30 mins later, reattached the gutter. Thank you, Charlie!

During this week of non-stop heavy rains, as I left the house to go to work I noticed no water was coming from the downspout but there was a waterfall coming off my roof. On my lunch hour I called three other companies to clear the clogged gutter & none would be available for at least another week. One even said he doesn’t work in the rain. I came across Calco on an online search and expected to hear the same answer but Charlie was very understanding. He came out that same day a short time after I called even though no one was home, got up to the gutters in the rain and cleared the problem. Thanks to him I had no water damage inside the house. I offered to give him my credit card number over the phone but he said no problem just leave a check for him and he’ll stop by and pick it up the next day. He was the easiest person to work with, very friendly and professional & the price for his work was very reasonable. Especially considering that it was such short notice and terrible weather. I’m very grateful to Charlie For taking care of my emergency wow I was at work, and am having Calco to replace the gutters and install gutter guards. Thank you Charlie!

I appreciated that Charlie wanted my feed back on how the finished product would look, where there are two leaders feeding one on the front corner of the house. He also installed a roof heating cable that I purchased. He listened to my thoughts on how to run and install the cable and applied his experience to install. They came in and cleaned gutters that were filthy with alot of dirt. He even cleaned out the drain pipe that runs down into the concrete. I forgot his name but this guy went out of his way to make sure the job got done in a professional manner.

I reached out to Calco after the storm several days ago, which ripped my gutter away from the house. Charlie quickly put me in touch with Mario, who quickly followed up with me and arranged coming to our house that same day. Mario was wonderful, professional, and a down to earth guy!
