I don't believe I left a review from the trim and gutter work that was done over almost 2 years ago, but let me say that we had hail damage AFTER the install and they did a great job fixing that, and then just a couple of days ago the wind tore off a piece of trim. It's already fixed! Fast! Thank you!

Tri City did siding, a roof, and a new bow window for me. Flawless from start to finish. Don and his team are all wonderful to work with. I had 3 companies out for estimates. Don's approach is straight forward with options and pricing. Tri City was a hands down decision after meeting with him. The work is quality. The pricing is fair. The communication is excellent. I can't say enough about how pleased I am with this company. I will be telling anyone I know that I did the research and Tri City is where it's at.

I was pretty stressed out, trying to help my father of 87 years old fix his house and it’s always tough to trust people doing work on anything on a home and from the beginning Don was very welcoming honest and true his word he was quick efficient his crew was awesome. They did a great job and fix things. They didn’t have to fix and did things Outside of their job so I would recommend them 100% I had other things on the home to be fixed and again Don was there for me to help out. Tri City Builders recently replaced our roof and gutters, and it was a very positive experience from start to finish. My previous roof replacement was very poorly done, so I had a lot of questions for Don (the owner) when he came out for the estimate. He very patiently answered all of my questions--both that day and during follow up emails. Don assured me that his company and his workers would do right by me, and they did. On roofing installation day, they stayed on the job all throughout the day and into the evening, as the weather forecast had changed and Don wanted to make sure that the roof was finished before the rain came. The gutter replacement was also completed in a timely and professional manner. Don stopped by several times throughout the process, and he checked in before I gave him my final payment to make sure it had been thoroughly cleaned up, which it had! I also received several photos of the completed roof, so that I could get a better view of what the roof looked like beyond what I could see from the ground. The new roof and gutters look great! And when Don came by for the final inspection, he even nailed down a piece of the siding for us that had nothing to do with the roofing or siding project. I appreciate the integrity and professionalism displayed by Tri City Builders--their actions match their words.

Tri City just completed install of a new roof and siding on our home, the entire job was very impressive to say the least. Let me start by saying we shopped around before signing, four companies provided estimates. The Tri City owner, Don, was extremely knowledgeable about his various products and gave us plenty of options to choose from. In the end, Don's price was unbeatable by 3 other companies. The roof was a one day event, looked impressive, and the guys left my property exactly as they found it. No nails laying all over, and no trash left behind. The siding job was a 3 day event, and it looks amazing!! Again, they cleaned up my property and left it as they found it. We're thoroughly impressed with Tri City, should we have future work they will be the company we call!!

We ordered a new sliding door from Tri City. Installation was seamless. The installers were on time and worked efficiently. I would highly recommend Tri City. This was our second experience with them and we had great experiences both times. We will definitely hire them if we have any additional needs in the future.

Don was real…did not try to sell us what we did not need. Honest! He spent the time on the roof inspecting it (which some companies came in a suit and didn’t even go on the roof and gave a price out of this world). Don’s price was better than any of the others.

The crew worked so well together, very polite, quick, efficient, fun to watch, and cleaned everything up. I thought it was great when Don brought his crew donuts for their break…appreciates his crew.

Solid estimate, comparable or lower price to other bids. Chose them over that V company that used to be a good deal but has raised rates significantly. Don was super chill and had a crew out fast to do roof, fascia, repair, and gutters on a house that wasnt taken care of by prev owner. Will definitely do business again!

We had a great experience with Tri City Builders. We had siding, gutters, shutters and an entry door installed by them. They are very professional, knowledgeable and the work was excellent. They went above and beyond for us from installing the porch light to dropping off a piece of the siding so I could match paint on my garage to the siding, to the superb clean up they did. I did not worry my dog would step on any nails or siding. The crew was very polite, respectful and hard working. We highly recommend Tri-City!!

I highly recommend Tri-City Builders. Don came out to give me an estimate for vinyl trim, soffit and gutters. He was straight forward with the job would cost. He took the time to answer all my questions and concerns. I even had a special request about the space above my bay window, it's a birds nest haven. Don said not to worry that his crew would take care of it . They're able to frame in the opening, no more birds nest. His work crews were professional, polite, on time and left my yard spotless after they're finished. If you have a home improvement job on your horizon please give Don a call you wont be disappointed.

I highly recommend Tri City Builders. Not only were they the only company I could get to come out for an emergency tarp after neighbor tree limb fell on our home leaving three holes in the roof, their pricing was competitive with all other roofing companies we quoted. Don was very informative on what was needed for a warranted repair so I could intelligently discuss with my insurance company. We did opt for full roof replacement vs. a repair, and Tri-City offered several options from basic to high impact shingles with ridge venting options. His crews were on-time, professional, protected our landscaping and left our property clean.

Cannot understand why anyone would rate this under five stars. Don's own sons did a great job on my garage, which is the first thing a prospective buyer would look at.
I am old and retired, and my wife and I appreciate these guys fixing up my home in anticipation of the move.

Very responsive, knowledge and a pleasure to work with. I needed to have the siding above my garage door repaired. Don sent a crew out within a week to repair the siding and wrap the garage door trim in aluminum. The repair looks great, and I’m glad I found this company who was willing to do this job so quickly and priced reasonably.

Been 4 years since I had my roof replaced. Was one of the lowest quotes and absolutely the most friendly. Great work too.

When I called for an estimate I told them that it was a small job that I needed help with. I was told "That is not a problem, we are happy to come out for an estimate and take a look." To start they were at least a half hour late for the estimate. It was to the point I had to call to see if they were still coming. Once he showed up for the estimate you could tell he was visibly upset that they were even there to do the estimate. I told him that I stated from the beginning it was a small job and he said "It really is a small job" Told me then that he would get me an estimate and could get me on the schedule in about a week or two. Then went to his truck and couldn't have left fast enough. I haven't heard a word since, I have called and left a message for a call back twice. I get if the job is too small for your business, but you could have told me that. The reviews on them are not wrong, better make sure you are worth their time or they will ghost you.

Honestly not impressed at all. They left nails ALL OVER my garage floor! They didn’t even attempt to clean it up. They left a mess of more nails, materials, wrappers etc all over my yard, I’m still finding little shreds of plastic all over. Super unprofessional. I would not recommend.

This is the 2nd time We have used Tri City. They did our house in Wayne in 2016, and just finished on our new house in Newport. They were very professional, and did a wonderful job both times. From start to finish just great work. Would definitely recommend.

Roof, gutters, and a doorwall. Everyone was extremely courteous and our home and yard were left with complete clean up. Very happy that these projects are done and it was a good experience!

Came to give an estimate on a basic repair to which i agreed on the spot, donald said they would call me back to schedule the job which never happened, so i called and the best the receptionist could say is "the roofer will call you back" which again never happened. What a waste of time, you guys costed me work hours i had to call off. The have multiple locations so reviews are scattered

Tri City built our garage and we are thrilled! I wish more companies could have their work ethics. George worked with us on details of design and made our vision a reality. They were on schedule, the price was exactly what it should be and everyone was polite and professional, they even cleaned up each evening before leaving. Excellent company!!!!! Don's company is everything you want in a builder: His workmanship is excellent; his crew is polite and clean up; he shows up checking on the job; the job is done in a timely manner; he keeps his commitment as far as delivering a quote and showing up for the job when he says he will. He responds immediately when you have a question. His company is top notch! Many builders don't show up on time, or don't follow up if there is a problem --especially after the is done-- not true with Don. I had a question (twice) about a window. He called, arranged a time to show up and showed up to check it out. There was no problem with his work or the window -- He was kind enough to educate me on the proper handling of slider windows! Great company, great work, great price!! I would HIGHLY recommend them. Wish more companies had the integrity, work ethic, and expertise like his company.

I recently had my roof of 20 years replaced. From the overall performance from the time of the estimate to the actual service date was amazing. The original visit from Don F was very professional and respectful. No matter if I had made any last minute requests or changing the installation date, the team at Tri City was very accommodating. I had at least 5 companies come out to my home for estimates and I found Tri City to be the most fair, honest and great quality work. I am very pleased with the workmanship and I would highly recommend them.

George called back few days after I left a message for a garage estimate. The conversation started off well. I was explaining that I wanted a new garage and an old one taken away. It was going very well until he learned that I lived in Detroit. Even though I live in one of the nicest parts of Detroit, he refused to take the conversation any further saying his crew will not work in Detroit. I live in Midtown by Wayne State in Woodbridge. There are kids, hipsters, professors and doctors in my neighborhood. George wouldn't have any of it, and quickly ended our conversation even when I said "I have 40K to build a garage, and you won't even look at my property?" He said no.
We are trying to bring Detroit and Michigan back. Whole Foods has more confidence in Detroit than this Michigan based company. On their Angie's list posting it says that they will do work in Detroit, but they snubbed me. I wouldn't recommend or support a business that thinks they are too good for the Motor City. They should change their name to Tri-Suburb Builders.
