We had a great and wonderful experience with Top to Bottom exteriors. They did such a wonderful job on our roof. Hector helped us so much to get our roof replaced and told us the steps and process time on how it will be done! Couldn’t be any more happier to have hired them .. I really recommend anyone to hire them to change their roof very trustworthy company!

I was very happy with there work and overall experience. Hector came and evaluated the situation. He was about the fifth person to look at my roof, which is a Mansard roof that had some interior mold on one large section. I liked Hector's professionalism and explanations. I felt he was honest and clear. Their quote was very reasonable and competitive. They finished the job as planned and I felt that they did it well. The builders were friendly and obviously experienced, doing this for decades. And it didn't bother them that I was looking and asking questions. Would certainly call them out for the next job.

Hector and the staff were great! Tops' price, service, quality and insstallation were weel done.

We had our 20-year-old roof replaced 11/2/2023 by Top to Bottom. All in all it was a pleasant experience.
Quoting:
• Called 4 local roofing contractors 9/18 for quotes to replace the roof
• Received 3 quotes: One contractor never responded; one contractor flew a drone over the house; two – including Top to Bottom - got up there and did an “old school inspection”.
• Inspections done and quotes submitted by 9/22.
• Samples of different manufacturer’s shingle styles and colors were quickly supplied to help our decision.
• Accepted Top’s quote 9/25. All quotes received were for identical services, but different prices.
Customer Service
• Top suggested I file an insurance claim because there was evidence of wind and hail damage. They participated in the insurance inspection.
• Top agreed to apply to Warrenville for a building permit and manage all the inspections.
• Top was available to answer all our questions and kept us informed of the progress.
Replacement Day
• The Top crew showed up on time, but the delivery of the shingles was delayed. The guys got out the leaf blowers to remove the snow and start the shingle tear off. They were unable to finish the first day and returned early the second day to finish the job.
• All plantings withing 8 to 10 feet of the house were covered with tarps for protection.
• Clean up was very complete and orderly.
Final Permit Inspection
• The Warrenville Permit Inspection was completed and passed 11/6.

very intrusive company, I have a no solicitor sign. Still got a door knock and the man instantly jumped into a sales pitch, loudly, then wouldn't take no for an answer. I was forced to close the door on him. if you have storm damage, do the paperwork yourself, will cost less than 100 for materials and about 3 hours of work, and you'll get paid at LEAST 5k into your pocket...call your own insurance company, don't use a third party, unless they give you a minimum 50yr warranty. This company uses GAF shingles, which aren't rated for wind damage, only hail, so you will 100% be missing shingles in a few years.

Hector came out the day I called, right after a hail storm came through. He helped us through the insurance process and his team spent a week working at our home. We got a new roof & gutters, had siding reinstalled, and had some work done inside. We are pleased with the work and would recommend!

Our roof began leaking after another roofer told us he had fixed a problem caused by an ice dam. I called Top to Bottom and Hector came out the next day to look at our roof. We found out that the original installer, who had since gone out of business, had shorted the shingles leaving the nails exposed causing leaks. Hector promptly gave us a fair estimate and did the work in one day. After they were finished, our architect/developer neighbor said, "Those guys knew what they were doing!" Then, when we asked Hector to come back to install 2 additional roof vents, he did so at no charge. We absolutely recommend Top to Bottom Exteriors.

Top to Bottom Exteriors just finished up putting a new roof on my cape cod style home along with completing some gutter repairs. I worked with Hector to go over the work I needed/wanted done - he was professional, knowledgeable and very responsive. The proposal I received was within my price point and competitive with other proposals I had received. I ultimately selected Top to Bottom because (1) my brother used them in the past to redo his roof and thought they did a great job; and (2) Hector and the office manager were super easy and straightforward to work with.

The crew came out - they did an amazing job! The guys were all super professional, considerate and VERY hardworking. I had a dove nesting in my one gutter - they put a piece of material over the gutter to protect the nest (that had eggs) while they worked - hello, that is beyond thoughtful and the mama dove definitely appreciated it! They were also super conscientious about all my shrubs and flowers around the perimeter of the house, which I really appreciated.

My roof looks beautiful and I am super happy. I’ve also gotten several compliments already on it.

Called them out to install some skylights for us. The gentleman who came out was very knowledgable, professional and friendly. He actually seemed to really like and care about his job. You don't see that much anymore. After talking to him in-depth he also mentioned they had a solution for keeping leaves and debris out of our gutters. We had him give an estimate on both. The quote came in lower than our fears were, specifically for the skylight install.
They were backlogged and had to reschedule to do COVID but they were worth waiting slightly longer for. The gentleman who came out to do the job were very friendly, professional and did an awesome job. They ran into issues as we were expecting with our steel roof, but they figured out a plan B and got the job done. Super, super impressed and thankful we called the right company to handle this work. We will most definitely use them again!

Without a doubt, Top to Bottom Exteriors is one of the best contractors we have ever worked with. They were very professional and deliver quality work on time and on budget. Our home was built in the 1880s and had 130+ year-old cedar lap siding that was covered with aluminum siding several decades ago. We wanted all the old siding to be removed, but to leave some of the historical trim around windows and gables/soffits in order to retain the historical character. Hector had some great ideas on how to achieve our desired results and in the end the results exceeded even our demanding expectations. We now have a historic home with a low-maintenance exterior that still looks similar to the original home, with functional shutters to boot! We couldn’t be happier and highly recommend them!

We had several contractors quote hail damage to our home from the storm in 2019. As soon as we met and spoke with Hector and read Top To Bottom Exterior's reviews online we knew this was the company we were going to work with. Hector was professional and trustworthy. His employees were respectful and professional on our property. We referred them to several neighbors and you can visibly tell who's homes were worked on by Top To Bottom Exterior and who's were not. The craftmanship is visibly better. The materials used were great quality. The crew would alert Hector and us if they uncovered additional items that needed attention and Hector worked with our insurance company to make certain the most was covered possible. What wasn't covered he was upfront with us and got our approval for and his costs to us were fair. I can't recommend this company enough. I love seeing the many improved homes in our neighborhood that were repaired by them. I can also say we didn't have any of the problems some of our neighbors did that DIDN'T choose them like leaking roofs, gaps in siding ect. Be careful who you choose and research them thoroughly.

Hector Cervantes from Top to Bottom came out to give me an estimate. I received a fair price, a 50 year shingle, and most importantly Hector answered all my questions. His crew also did a great job with clean up. They finished on time and on budget.

I recently hired Top to Bottom Exteriors to replace my roof and I cannot be happier with their service and the results. They were very competitive with their quote (thousands less than the nearest competitor) and they were very up front and honest about any unforeseen costs. Turned out I needed over 10 sheets of plywood replaced and I was contacted while the work was being done and they stuck the quoted price for any extras. The job was completed on time and the crew thoroughly cleaned up afterward. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to have roof work done and I will definitely be contacting them if I need any other work done on my exteriors.

I called Top to Bottom after the major storm in my neighborhood. My neighbor gave me their contact details. Hector from Top to Bottom came out to give me an estimate. Our project was a major project including entire roof with ridge venting, gutters, aluminum soffit, aluminum fascia, siding on all sides for the house, front door, patio door, window and window wraps. He responded to every phone call and was helpful in relaying our expectations to the guys doing the job. He was very helpful in working directly with the insurance company, village and others. His team got all the licenses & permits as required by the village. They were always on time during the entire project and always gave us heads up on what to expect every day. They went above and beyond by connecting one of my bathroom vent to roof and replacing window screens. I'm really impressed with this company and kudos to the entire team for doing a superb job. I recommend them to friends/family.

We had a great experience with Top To Bottom Exteriors! Hector came out as soon as I called for help with a leak in my roof. The leak turned out to be coming from somewhere different than I expected, and he found the problem quickly, quoted me a great price that was much less than I’d feared, and had a crew out to repair it before the big snowstorm hit. I was so happy I had followed a friend’s recommendation and other reviews to call them to have the problem solved quickly and correctly!

He responded to every every phone call, and was really helpful relaying information. He provided us with the best roofing options right off the bat; no debating between which was the top of the line brand for roofing (we also did our research prior to his estimate and arrival). The previous owner of our new home hired Top to Bottom to completely tear off and reroof the house and garage, as well as replace all cladding around the windows with with aluminum trim coil. The job was superb. We then hired Top to Bottom to vent a new bathroom exhaust fan through the attic and out the roof. Upon entering our house, the workers put booties over their shoes and carefully cleaned up after their work. Again, the job was superb. Their attention to communication and detail were greatly appreciated. We would highly recommend Top to Bottom to anyone needing exterior work on their property.

Top to Bottom Exteriors replaced the vinyl trim on the front of my home that was blown off during a recent winter storm. They came within a few days of contact, showed up on time, and did a great job. I would use their services in the future.

This past summer we had hail damage to our roof..We had a number of contractors wanting to inspect the roof for damage...We were not comfortable with storm chasers and used Angie's list to find a local roofing contractor. We made an appointment and Hector from Top to Bottom inspected our roof and took over 40 pictures of damaged areas that would have resulted in numerous leaks over time. We scheduled a replacement roof with Top to Bottom and were very satisfied with the quality of roof materials, workmanship, scheduling and follow-up..Their office kept in touch throughout the process and were easy to work with. There is no doubt if we were in need of a roof again, Top to Bottom would be our first choice.

We love our new roof and the work that Top To Bottom Exteriors did. It looks great and they worked fast and clean. They also took the time to examine the attic and make sure venting was adequate and made improvements there as well.

Hector was clear and helpful during the entire process. He even suggested a simple fix for our gutter that was leaking when all the other companies quoted me for an entire new gutter. Contacted Top to Bottom Inc on a Monday for a estimate and they came same day. I accepted bid and they were at my house 2 days later to perform the work. I priced around and they had lowest bid and their work was superb and the contractors friendly. Never expected this great of an experience! Highly recommended!!

We were recommended to Top to Bottom by a close friend that had nothing but good things to say about them after his roof was completely replaced. So we gave them a call. Hector came over looked over our home and dealt with the insurance company. Our original roof and aluminum siding were damaged by a hail storm. From start to finish we only dealt with Hector who was very courteous, good about returning calls, and answering any question or concern we had. Our house was completely torn down as far as roof, siding, and gutters. We love the finished product and could not be happier. Top to bottom crew was great to work with and we highly recommend them!

i was treated VERY rudely by the driver of one of this company's trucks. s/he tailgated me through my residential neighborhood and passed illegally just to get to a red light. i called the office and spoke with a woman who told me there wasn't a manager or owner available but she would follow up with me. it's been 60 hours, and no call back. this kind of behavior is bad for everyone involved: the people who have to deal with the poor driving and the business itself due to reputation downgrade.

Do not call this company just put your hand in the car door and slam it cause that's what ur gonna get if they jack up your house like they did mine they did not install ice and water shield at the recommended minimum of four inches overlap on the facia board behind the gutters as stated by Owen's Corning 56 years the roof never leaked the first winter after fall installation I had water getting into the soffit and raining inside the upstairs bathroom window pictures and video to prove then he tried to bamboozle me telling me oh the hard driving wind blew the water in yeah rite pal I'm in construction so take a hike then to make matters worse his hammer swinging fool that was to install aluminum window caps broke the wood crown off of 14 windows to make it easier for him to cap God forbid you should make an extra bend with the brake tool

After researching contractors on so called home improvement web sites and no one returning phone calls, we noticed Top to Bottom Exteriors crews working on two of our neighbor’s homes. Hector returned our call within two hours to schedule an inspection and discuss options for our roofing project, we had some weather damage. Hector, our insurance adjuster, and inspector worked together to come to a fair and affordable cost projection. After agreeing to the work, the rains came. Hector and his staff kept us informed with phone calls, emails and texts updating the project schedule. Hector and his crew at TTBE did an excellent job of replacing our roof. They were prompt, courteous, professional. They cleaned up well after the job was done. We highly recommend them.
