Received top notch service from Stephen at Top Notch Roofing two days ago. I had a concern about a flashing on my 13 year old steel roof which was near the gable ridge and too far from ground to access by a ladder. Stephen was working on a neighbour's roof and offered to use his man lift to take a look and fix the flashing if he saw a problem. He took a look while repositioning the manlift between 2 jobs in the neighbourhood. He saw no problem with the flashing and told me it should be fine to leave as-is. There was no charge from Stephen for that quick look and I am very grateful to find the flashing
was ok. Will definitely give Top Notch Roofing any future work on my roof. Very glad to be treated so fairly.

Top Notch roofing company was one of three companies I tried to get a quote from and the only one to respond back, from there it was truly a pleasure to set up a time for an estimate and have a quick, very friendly assessment done.The work was completed the following week by very professional and knowledgeable tradesmen.It was a small job for them ( metal capping of outside beam ends. The cost was what I expected it to be.

With Top Notch - The Hype is Real! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ !!!

So with Trump Tariffs on the horizon and material price increases due to inflation, we decided to get ahead of the curve and redo the roof. We previously had shingles which while cheaper were prone to moss infiltration, which seemed to lift the shingles up and then were prone to tear off with a strong wind.

Based on friends and neighbors recommendations I engaged Top Notch and I have to say I was impressed with the entire process. My sales guy was Zach and on the initial consult, Trevor also briefed me on the options. Because the house has a strong sentimental value we wanted all the extras so we don't have to deal with the roof again in our lifetime.

Roof shingle removal was thorough. Installation was quick, focused and seamless. What also matters to me is safety and my observation was the crew was well turned out with PPE and used lanyards and restraints. So I would like to thank the workers and management for solid execution and performance; and all of this done in the foulest of East Fraser Valley rainy winter weather. Cleanup as also well done. Very little mess or debris left behind.

The following people stand out for their performance during the job, which is basically the entire crew from start to finish:

-Stephen did the initial measure.
-Tear off day was Arnold, Pav, Nazar and Johnny
-Metal install was Arnold, Christian, Vern and Milcher (This task was executed in a downpour and to the workers great credit my observation was they performed like champions)
-Ted does the bin and final clean up

I enclose some photos from the install and final product. The blue underlay is a waterproof membrane than dampens noise and acts as extra insulation. This roof is quieter than then shingles that were on before. If you look closely at the installed panels you can see the water bead off and drain efficiently.

The roof is so good the rest of the house needs a refresh and I will get Top Notch back for the rain gutters and enclose the fascia boards with metal too. I am considering siding next as well.

One of the few products and projects I have seen where results exceeded expectations - not just a little - by a lot!

I met the management to personally deliver the bank draft for payment , Koen and Walter run a damned fine company that deliver a European level of quality. Think BMW or Mercedes-Benz for your roof!

We had our leaking roof dealt with by another local company who came TWICE to fix our 7yo homes roof. Not happy they couldn’t resolve this, a friend recommended Top Notch to us. A metal piece (valley) from our roof was coming off due to the extreme winds. I called Top Notch and they came to help secure the piece within a couple hours. They were one of very few roofing companies open that day. We are really grateful for their quick response and service.

Asked Top Notch for a quote to replace our roof. They did a thorough inspection, including inside the attic, and told us our roof was still fine and didn't need replacing or repair. We were blown away by their honesty. In 5 or so years when we do need to replace our roof, Top Notch will be the first company we call.

Had a top notch experience with this company. Right from the start, they called me back right away and Zach was here within 2 days to give me an estimate for my roofing project. It was quick, easy and thorough, not to mention a cool use of a drone to assess the roof. From there, Koen kept in touch regularly to keep me updated on scheduling and despite delays because of the constant rain, I always felt confident it would be done as soon as it could be. This was a relatively small job over a sunroom so they found small windows in the rain to do my roof over a couple of days. The day they wanted to start, I had to leave by 7:30 am, so Tony was kind enough to meet me at 7 am to look at the roof with me and explain how they would handle some issues. He and the torchon crew did a beautiful job, especially with some difficult tie-ins to the main roof. Very impressed with the process top to bottom. Well done!

My company washed a building after a roof was put on by this company. We noticed a fair amount of nails and screws on the ground. We picked up what we could…. Then contacted the company.

A lot of times companies get defensive about this sort of thing …. But not these guys…. They were actually very appreciative that we had called them.
They went back the same day and cleaned up with a magnet the screws that were left behind.

I noticed a small leak in the roof of my backyard shed, and I called Top Notch Roofing to take a look at it. They were able to assess it the same day, and gave me a quote for the repair. The work was scheduled quickly, and performed just a couple of days later. The price was as quoted, and the roof technician was friendly and explained what had been done. Would definitely recommend Top Notch to friends and family.

Top Notch and Brodie understand how important service is I had an issue with a shingle cap that wasn’t installed correctly and was leaking water behind my the gutter I called Top Notch Brodie came to have a look apologized he didn’t have the piece needed in his truck but would get it done as soon as possible I said before the rain comes would be great no hurry he returned 2 hours later said he found what he needed without having to buy a full bundle had it fixed in 15 minutes took before and after pics explained it all and as a senior who has never dealt with roofing he was great I asked how much he gave me a great big smile jumped in his truck and said have a great day who does that these days Customer Service all the way

Stephan (Hopefully spelled correctly) came out promptly to assess my duplex neighbor's house that suddenly starting leaking in the rain...on a Saturday. He was quick, on point and found 1 leak fast which was completely not where i was looking (amateur hour here! lol). I was only trying to help her out which i proved not to be much help. Thanks Stephan! You were a big help to mitigate the immediate issue -- now awaiting the quote from Top Notch as it's time for a new roof overall.

They came and did a roof inspection for us and gave us very helpful feedback about the state of our roof, suggestions to upkeep it, etc. they also looked in our attic at an issue we’ve been having and made some recommendations there.
Marcel was extremely punctual (he said he’d be here “around 4pm” and showed up at 4 on the dot!) and was polite, friendly, and unbothered by our obnoxious barking puppy.
My only I guess “negative” feedback would be that when I spoke to them on the phone I was told I’d get a call back to schedule a time. I didn’t hear from them for about 1 week and then got a call with less than 2 hours notice that they’d be here. I work from home so it all worked out but I would have preferred to have a scheduled time in advance. Otherwise they were great

Prompt and Excellent Service for 3 incidences this past year, all at reasonable prices.
1) Very prompt replacements for 14 sùspected poorly designed Roof Vents that may allow blowing snow to ingress.
2) Immediate removal of a new Roof Vent that allowed a Biblical SE Rainstorm to enter over our Ensuite Suite Bathroom Shower.
3) As a result of their Roof Flashing Inspection, they added required Flashing.

I had Top Notch Roofing complete my Roof December 2023. I was very impressed with Zach and his communication. Because of his good communication and good reviews I decided to go with them for my roof even though they came in at a higher cost than most. I was initially told the roof would start the beginning of November and they would need two days to complete. The roof took over a month and a half to complete. When I questioned this they said it was because of the frost at my house and the challenges with doing the roof with frost. Had they started on time they would have completed the roof before the frost, and they eventually completed despite the frost, but did not communicate their timing very well at all. They also left a mess once the job was complete and although I mentioned to the foreman I did not like the mess (He agreed) they still did not clean it up or offer any reimbursement because of the disappointment. Materials were left on my patio (Screws, downspouts and cables for deicing), moss and asphalt shingle debris was thrown into my back yard and left on my patio and front porch. I hope the roof installed holds up the test of time, but would ultimately choose a different company in the future with the poor communication, higher cost and mess taken into consideration.

After months of trying to find a roofing company that would keep appointments, and provide an estimate for repairs, I was referred to Top Notch Roofing. Phone calls were returned, texts were answered, and quotes were provided quickly for a couple of options for my home. I was kept informed about scheduling and arrival times, and on the day of the repair I received pictures of the work being done and a phone call from the roofer to discuss what he found. Top Notch Roofing is a reliable company, that does very professional work. I found Top Notch Roofing to be very professional from thier initial presentation through to the installation and followup. The sales manager Walter and salesman Zach took time to go through the quote and answer all my question in a most professional manner. Once the contract was signed I was contacted by Marcel and Brodie to set up the installation schedule. Both met with me to go over the proceedures and to address any concerns I had.
The installation crew Aleks and assistant Caleb arrived on time and along with Brodie reviewed all my requests and commenced the work.... the new roof was installed in 2 1/2 days and competed to my satisfaction. We have used Top Notch twice for wind damage repair, both times they were prompt, did quality work, and were reasonably priced.

We had Top Notch install the roof on our new home build. There were a couple of issues, but they were repaired almost immediately. We also had a mobile brought on to the property with an addition and Top Notch finished that roof for us. Their guys noticed a couple of issues that they fixed right away. Brody is great to work with, knows his stuff, on time and pleasant to deal with. Wouldn't hesitate to refer Brody and Top Notch to anyone.

We had Top Notch come re-roof and install skylights at our house and had a great experience working with them!
The communication was great, the crew left the job site super tidy each day, they started and finished on time, and the finished product looks great!
