Customers are fully satisfied

We can’t say enough good things about Stephan, Arnold and all the folks at Top Notch Roofing. To begin with, they were true to their quote, absolutely no surprises. In the months leading up to the start date (when our snow finally melted) Koen kept us informed about material costs, availability, colour choices, everything we needed to know. As for the job itself, they had about the hardest working crew I’ve ever seen, starting each morning with a 90 minute drive to get to our place near Manning, never arriving later than 7am and on the roof by 7:05. Another thing that really impressed us was they were always cheerful and good natured, I don’t think we ever heard a complaint or a harsh word among them. Stephan was unbelievably courteous, polite and accommodating, whether we asked him to do something related to the job, and even when we asked a favour completely unrelated, his response was always ‘of course, absolutely, no problem’. When it was all over and done, the finished roof was beyond anything we expected. The attention to detail was terrific, the craftsmanship evident in every last nook and cranny. We couldn’t count the number of times neighbours and visitors have commented on how our 30 year old house all of a sudden looks brand new.
We’ll be adding a garage to our property this fall, and there’s no question who we’ll be contracting for the roof when the time comes. Top Notch comes by their name honestly.

Top Notch Roofing did an excellent job on my new roof
From the beginning when Jessie came to look at my old roof and explained the process I was very impressed as he took the time with me. He was very professional and respectful.
Rick and his crew were great. Left a very clean work site at the end of each day and did a great job
I totally recommend this company
I had 5 estimates and Top Notch were the only one that came to my house in person and that’s very important to me.

"Top Notch Roofing—it's all in the name!
We are very happy we made the phone call.
Steven did a detailed inspection of our roof and identified a couple of minor issues.
Rick promptly came out and dealt with those issues.

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.
Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.
When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.
Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
