I highly recommend TJ Exteriors based on our recent experience. We asked them to evaluate our roof for damage as others in our neighborhood had seen some hail damage or other issues. They promptly inspected the roof and reported no sign of hail damage, but that cracks were developing on the ridge cap shingles. We then scheduled them to replaced all the ridge cap shingles. This was done the following week in a very professional manner and the job was completed and cleaned up within a few hours. Well done! Thx!

Also was helpful at suggesting some upgrades to our house like adding decorative shakes. Just those changes made our house look amazing and gave it a face lift that we just love ! Highly recommend TJ Exteriors. They replaced every single window in our 1934 home and 2 doors as well. Work was top notch, owner is very hands on, installers are great and office staff was very courteous. A special shout out to Sean who did just a wonderful job installing the windows and doors!

We did our basement windows and patio door with TJ Exteriors and have nothing but wonderful things to say. They were honest about cost, about product, and about timeline. We had two other big companies in for estimates first and were told exactly what we wanted to hear, not what was true. The price was great (windows are expensive! But one of the quotes from one of the big companies was 33% more). They always responded to my calls and emails and never made excuses when the timeline was pushed back due to weather. We cannot wait to do our upper level of our house!

We recently had our windows replaced by Tom and his company. We did 6 months of research before choosing Tom and John. While most places (MNRustco, Window World and Window Concepts) did high pressure sales tactics on us, TJ exteriors let their windows do the talking. After independently research all the window lines involved, the choice was simple, we went with the local company who had a high quality replacement window. We are looking at new siding and new doors. I don't need to waste my time looking at other vendors, I will go straight to TJ Exteriors. Additionally, their installation team was on time, friendly and did a great job cleaning up each day when they left.

This is my third time using Tom and the TJ Exteriors team. They have replaced siding, roofing, gutters, windows and doors for me. Top notch Craftsmanship every time. Tom's team is always booked well in advance. That speaks volumes for the quality of the work.
Tom also has a great network of other small business owners that can perform tasks that are our of scope for his team.

I agree with other 1 star below. Had to chase them. Put mandatory down payment in March 2020 and install finally occurred in August. Terrible response and always an excuse. Decent quality craftsmanship but he must be busy as he turned down my request for more windows and wanted me to schedule city inspector...which I think is his job. Tough to find trades professionals these days.

This Is the most bizarre interaction I've ever had with a company. Emailed for an estimate, they contacted me and came out on time. We discussed 2 different jobs (siding and a deck) to be done in Aug and next spring. He seemed very interested in bidding on these decent sized jobs. Said they would be out early the following week to follow up. Absolutely nothing happened. I sent an email 2 weeks later, again absolutely nothing. I call 3 weeks later and leave a message on their main line, again, absolutely no response. Unprofessional, unresponsive, I wouldn't waste your time...

These guys are excellent. We had two patio doors installed by them and couldn’t be happier with their workmanship. The guys that did our install are top notch.

Their sourcing of the doors and everything is in house which REALLY makes the process simple. And really no bs to deal with at all. And that’s important, especially after being blown off by a prior contractor. With these guys, I just called, the estimator came out to measure and write it up. Then one final measurement was made and off the order went to the manufacturer.

A few weeks later they received the doors and scheduled the install. Again, couldn’t be more pleased and am looking forward to hopefully getting the house sided later this year.

TJ Exteriors goes the extra mile for perfection. Tom, Denny, Ed, Sean and his crew worked on doors and windows for my home. The craftsmanship of their work speaks for itself. Their work ethic is over and above for all projects regardless of the size. Very respectful to me and my financial limitations. Excellent customer service from Katie; always patient and helpful. I highly recommend TJ Exteriors and the products they use to replace doors and windows of any home.

I had a relatively small job, but Tom still took the time to personally come out and quote the job. I had a difficult time finding someone to come out and give us a quote. He was then out the following week to complete the repair and it looks great. He definitely takes pride in his work, regardless of the size of the project.

Tom Gestach is awesome. Our garage service door was awful to close due to the garage foundation/threshold moving. Tom was able to fix the threshold and install a service door and now it closes like a dream! Thank you Tom!

This is our second experience with Tom's company. Very reliable, professional and would use again in a heartbeat. The installers accidentally broke a figurine which had no identifying markings.
