Jeff, Jorge, Valerio and his team at Tidewater Home Improvement removed and replaced all the crawl space insulation at my home in one day. The truck rolled up on time at 9AM and by 3PM they had everything cleaned up neat, I inspected their work and all was exactly as they said it would be. I was very happy.

I cannot recommend Tidewater Home Improvement enough! I found them from a simple google search and within a day Jeff came out listened to my concerns and came up with a game plan. He was open and honest about what we needed and fair priced! He even recommended things that we had not even thought of. His guys came in on a Monday afternoon and worked like crazy to make sure the job was done that evening. Both Jeff and his team were super respectful and made sure everything was cleaned up and taken care of. Any questions I had Jeff was quick to respond or give me a call to let me know what was going on. Very punctual and solid work ethic. They went above and beyond with my craw-space repairs and kept me informed every step of the way. They also took before and after pictures to show me progression. It snowed 2 of the days they were working and they showed up and accomplished a lot still. Great company and they are 10/10 recommend. Also, Jeff Wilson was awesome. He’s honest and a subject matter expert. I can call or txt him today, even after the work is done and I’m confident he would respond with answers for me!

Lack of attention or caring. Highly disorganized.

I had an appointment last Monday to get a quote and some issues I wanted fixed on my house looked at to have a plan forward. Insptor shows up looks at my floors and mentions wanting to look at the craw space I agreed however he then stated he had to go to the store as it was about the end of the day and he didn't bring a poop suit so he didn't want to get dirty. My first thought was ok maybe you shouldn't have worded it that way, you after all are an insptor and work for a business that specializes in foundation so figured you would have that on hand.. He then said he would be back Thursday that week and I asked if I would have to call to reschedule or if he would just show up? "I will be their the same time slot I had today" is what I was told. Now mind you Thursday was the day after Xmas, so I again asked you'll be here Thursday he said yes. Thursday came and went found out they were closed so I figured maybe he just got caught up in the moment and forgot no biggie. Called the next day friday told the lady answering the phone what had happened and she didn't have him on the schedule to come back to my house which he said he would add me to his schedule when he got back to the office upon leaving my house the first day he was here, last Monday. So she rescheduled for Monday, which is today and said he would be there between 1 and 4.
It is now, quarter to 6pm Monday and they are closed I received no calls if he was backed up which I would have compleatly understood, I have wasted 8 hours of my time waiting between the original appoitment and for them to come back and do something that should have been done the 1st day they arrived to look at my house.
This is a problem and is showing a pattern of lack of attention and to detail. It is also quite concerning if they show the same lack of caring when the do any service to YOUR HOME and to me shows they only care about bottom line money not providing quality care to their potential customers.

I will not be recommending this company to anyone and if I hear that anyone wants to do any work on their property that they have worked hard for I will share my experience and strongly recommend they look elsewhere.

I have given this company plenty of opportunities and they fell short.

Jorge and his team led by Valerio did an amazing job on my subfloor, joists, and two beams. They worked diligently and thoroughly cleaned up after themselves. My bedroom floor is now level and ready for our hardwood install. I would definitely work with him and his team again. Thanks!

I am very satisfied with the company. I contacted them online and within a half hour they called to schedule an appt for an estimate. It was a pleasure talking with Jeff when he came to give me an estimate. Price was fair and we were able to schedule to have insulation installed under my home the following week. A 3 person team came and knocked out the job quickly and left the area clean after the job was completed!

I purchased a house that in 2019 had THI LLC incapsulate the foundation, we had heard of this but not seen it. The work THI did was impecible and we were impressed with the look and peace of mind the air controlled foundation added to the home.

We had Tidewater Home Improvement do our crawl space. From the time we talked with Jeff about what we wanted done to the crews leaving after the job, it was a great experience. I had many before photos sent to me. The install was great-the space looks phenomenal and the dehumidifier they installed is doing its job. The crews that did the work were polite, professional, and hard-working. You could also tell that they enjoyed working together and that makes a difference when a job is being done. I was shown photos before they left and they were also emailed to me. I would highly recommend them.

Jeff Wilson, the field engineer, thoroughly explained the process. He was very helpful and answered all of our questions. He was very knowledgeable and easy to work with giving us options to fit our needs.
The technicians were very professional, removed old vapor barrier and insulation, as well as, trash and debris left by the builder under the house. Overall they did an outstanding job!!
After the technicians completed their work Jeff came out and performed a complete inspection of the job.

We are completely happy with the service provided! We had recently moved and k ew our crawlspace needed some help. We got an honest assessment and great advice. The work was superb. Since then, our pest company and a plumbing company (who added a spigot recently) both commented on how well sealed and clean our crawlspace was...something they said they don't often see. Tidewater Home Improvement LLC are prompt on time the day of the job and very respectful of our home. I highly recommend them to anyone. Crawlspace is the foundation of our home and it's condition matters. Note: the dehumidifier added has made some difference in our power bills over the past year. Overall it makes me feel better knowing that our homes foundation is healthy!

We just moved into a home with a crawlspace and weren't sure how to take proper care. We contacted Tidewater Home Improvement LLC on the good reviews, both personal and online. It was well worth it! We saw the pictures of the 'before' from our home inspector and compared them to the 'after'. We were VERY pleased. We also elected to have a dehumidifier installed. It was a bit of a wait for the electrician (a week), but the electrician was very professional and did a great job as well!! Even in light of the one-week wait, the company deserves 5 stars for the process from the beginning to the end. Thank you so much!!

Just had a full encapsulation done by Jorge and his crew. They did a great job and for a fair price. They kept me up to date as the job progressed, cleaned up after they were done, and kept their word. Very happy with the job and would recommend them to anyone who needed any foundation or encapsulation work done.

Tidewater Home Improvement did a full encapsulation in the crawlspace beneath our house. This company is professional, on time, responsive and hard working. If you have not had your crawlspace encapsulated, you should! We had no idea that we should have done this. Due to living in a humid climate, the joists and subflooring beneath the house were damaged. TWHI fixed this too! That could have been avoided, had we encapsulated the crawlspace in the first place.

The company was excellent from beginning to end. The crawlspace project came out really well. We’ve used them before for other projects and have been very pleased each time. We can’t recommend them more highly.

I can't say enough good things about this Company. From the Salesman, to the owner, and every worker they sent to my home. These guys are 100% Customer focused. The workers were friendly, fast, on time, and professional. They kept their work area clean from start to finish. I was 100% impressed and satisfied with their work . I had a moisture problem, and expected a quote twice as high as theirs was. The owner worked with me to be here at my convenience. The work forman took pictures of every area under the house, and it looks great. You'd be amiss if you didn't get a quote from this Company. They realy were amazing to work with.

We needed to get our crawl-space cleaned up and put down a new moisture barrier and they did just that. There was no hassle and no issues with any of the sales or installation professionals. The house now smells better and I can get into the crawl-space without getting covered in dirt. The price was acceptable as well. Good work at a decent price is sometimes tough to find around here, but these folks delivered.

Jorge and the team are great. They have great attitudes, punctual, worked seamlessly. They have done several jobs for me and in my opinion are the best at Encapsulations. The prices are fair and most importantly, the work is amazing. Thanks fellas!

Jorge and his team did a very poor job of encapsulating my crawlspace. The vapor barrier was not sealed properly and moisture was seeping in from beneath it. They did not insulate the rim joists at all and said that it was not necessary for moisture control. Bad and unregulated workmanship. It got to the point that they had given me more problems in my crawl space than what I had started with. The problem is that Jorge does not expect you to go down to the crawl space and look at the job after his team finishes. I did and took photos that left other contractors speechless. If you want a cheap price, they will give it to you. But then expect REALLY cheaply done work that you will pay someone good money to redo.

Jorge's team are hardworkers. Jorge is current, punctual, and excellent at small business. He has a small team who do a job most of us either can't or won't. He and I discussed, full encapsulation for a 75 yo war house in tidewater near the water is about useless and overkill. We did not aim for pristine perfection, but instead, preservation and improvement.
His efforts with a local partnered pest control service saved me money big time, worked great as a reality check on my multi year termite "protection" plan with Universal, which I will be cancelling because the warranty on damage not found is worthless IMO. His selection of materials, install, fixing of three new joists in a very tight crawl, discussion of order of performance, sealing of rim joist and all penetrations through floor deck was more than sufficient and met expectations. His materials exceeded those in quality and quantity of my next bid and beat them soundly in cost. I consulted another local under home big company, and they started at the high end of 15k trying to sell me on this and that and talking me down to things that would work for me....craziness...beyond need...high end engineering for a home that has 25 years left to it at best. Great value. But remember, Jorge is a small business. He has to do a lot of juggling with folks who don't know what they need and what they want and who are better off spending far more than they need with big box, big advertising companies. That being said, it's still on the owner to check and inspect their work and to let any contractor know that their work is complete or not. Jorge, thanks to you and your team. I'll be looking forward to working with you again. The rest of you services, stop overcharging and selling work that's not necessary and is not effective.
