What a never ending nightmare These people have been in our brand new home on more than 4 ocassions, issues have still not been fixed. I have seen 4 year olds who can finger paint better than these guys. Plastering work is absolutely disgraceful. Whatever you do - steer clear and find a company that actually cares about quality and your house!

Good solid workmanship and very good prices on a new roof. Great recommendations on shingles and various options by Greg. I had some fascia board repairs that they did a great job on. Greg is very knowledgeable, honest and hard working. He honored a couple of verbal commitments that were not included in the contract - that is rare these days! If Greg says he will do it, he will do it! Plywood shortages caused a slight delay, but that's not unusual these days. Excellent punch list performance! Overall, a very good experience from start to finish.

Bought a house a couple years ago from the bank. This company did the repair work in the house. I have the invoices from the real estate agent. This company takes shortcuts and makes questionable repairs. Their work is on the shoddy side of things. They painted over tape (so now that's peeling), did not seal the molding or the floor, did not remove things before painting (painted with the adjustable shower rod on so completely did not paint the spot the shower rod was on), just missed places (painted parts of the wall and got paint on the sink but not the wall next to it), and made weird installations (they put the sink faucet in but did not seal it so it leaks).

Took 2 1/2 weeks to have an estimate appointment. Finally arrived and measured. At that time on a Thursday, was told I would have an email with estimate either Saturday or following Monday. No email on Monday so I called on Tuesday. Spoke with young women who was distracted and who had no customer service skills and actually rude. She stated that she had no information and would look into her files and have an estimate sent by email by Thursday as she needed two day to “type up”. On Thursday, no email so I called again and had to leave a message to return call Friday morning. No call Friday morning so I called and the same young women said she had to look in her files and type something up. She said she could have to me by end on day; end of day and no email with estimate. It is now Saturday morning and no communication. Too bad for me as it appears that I will have to find another contractor. Poor service, lack of responsiveness and overall unprofessional.

Done Right Home Repair is a Class A contractor with highly trained and talented technicians. They installed 26 windows and a new roof on a 3100 sq ft home I just purchased. The owner Greg is top shelf! Easy to work with and communicated and worked well with my needs. When I sold my previous home, he fixed a few items in short notice. Replacing small pieces of support wood and flashing. I highly recommend them!!

I've had Greg and his crew at my home on three occasions, re-tiling a bathroom and installing a new toilet as well as replacing a post on our front porch and putting in a new mailbox out at the street. In every occasion, we were happy with the results and their prices were very reasonable. The owner and crew were always courteous and respectful and conducted themselves in a professional and respectable way at all times.

I saw another review that appears to be someone with an axe to grind and it's a complete distortion of this company, it's owner and it's workers. I can't say if any of the crew are felons, but folks that have served time and paid their debt to society certainly deserve the chance to make a living, don't they? I never observed any sort of misconduct from these folks when they were working in my home. And for goodness sake, if someone is taking medications for any reason isn't that their business?

If you are a member of Angie's list, take a look at the 84 reviews for Done Right Home Repair. They have an overall average of A. That should tell you everything you need to know. I highly recommend them. And frankly, it disturbs me to see someone with an apparent grudge against one of their employees publicly smearing this company. In my opinion, that's quite shameful and spiteful behavior and I'm surprised that Google would allow it.

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
