Thompson & Thompson 3rd Generation

We just had our roof, gutters and siding on one side of the house replaced. We chose Thompson 3rd Generation to do the job and we couldn't be happier. From the initial contact with Seth to job management with Steve they were first class in my book! The roof looks great! I wouldn't hesitate to use them again!

I was referred to TT3 by a co-worker, & his father, & I couldn't be happier! This is my 2nd roof replacement in 13 years. The last time I felt like I settled. This time I got the roof I wanted. The minor details put the look over the top. Details like gutter work and re-direction, color of vents, the addition of bathroom vents, and the installation of a special membrane on a certain roof location to prevent interior flooding were over the top. Thank you TT3!!!

The TT3G guys have proved themselves honest & trustworthy. After storms in '21, '23 & '24, they could've pushed a new roof on me, but instead gave me honest feedback on what I did, and didn't, need.

When a larger storm hit in Spring 2025, I was finally in need of a roof replacement. TT3G was quick to visit, work up an estimate, meet with the insurance adjuster, and get the work done.

The roof and gutters were done expertly. I am upset by the roofers marring my siding and breaking solar lights when throwing the old roof to the ground. The roofers also opened a propane line with old roof and must have closed the valve without saying anything, my propane tank that was supposed to be at 49% full went empty a week later. The gutter guys had to come back and gutter the south side of my garage, after it had been asked for in the assessment. The gutter guys also left cigarette butts in my yard. It was a good thing the roofers didn't smoke due to the propane leak. My wife picked up a roofing nail in one of her tires, and I keep finding nails in front of my garage and around the house. The Air Conditioner was crooked, but I straightened out and there is no damage.

Thompson & Thompson crews did outstanding installs, they stayed within the time allowed per install. it made it easy to schedule other activities and the clean-up was fantastic.

We have used Thompson and Thompson multiple times over the years for storm damage repair. All experienced good folks from the initial evaluation, repair and office staff.

I am so sorry! I have no idea how the 1 star review was placed! I have had no work done by this organization, nor have I ever heard of them.

Great experience all around! They were in and out within 2 days. Replaced the roof and gutters and did a wonderful job! Great at communicating throughout and left no mess! Will definitely recommend to family and friends!

Poor communication.

We have been waiting weeks for Dan Evans to give us a quote. He doesn’t answer his phone line. He only responds via email. We ended up finally calling the main answering service to set up a time for him to come out. He said that he would send us a quote for partial siding/roof and only sent us a quote for a full sighting of our house. If it takes us this long just to get a quote who know how long the service would take

We tried contacting another roofing company three times last fall to come out and give us an estimate through their website. We had heard good reviews about them, but received no response, via email or phone call. I had heard of Thompson and Thompson, and was passing by a house with their sign in the front yard. I thought I would give them a try. Sure enough, not even a day later, I got a phone call. Dan Evans came out on February 4, 2025. He gave us an estimate on our house and garage roofs damaged by last summers storms. They completed the work on February 26, in one day! They delivered the materials on the 24th, and placed them neatly in our yard. The trailer came on Tuesday night, and the team was here by 7am on the 26th. They went out of the way to protect the windows and ground surrounding the house. The team was efficient and neat! They cleaned up after their work was completed, no nails or debris left in the yard, and no lunch break trash! The estimate was right on target! They also sent a nice thank you gift in the way of cookies and a gift card that could be used for future work by us or passed on to family or friends. I would highly recommend them! FYI They also do siding, gutters, attic insulation, and ventilation too! And the driver delivering materials was extremely impressive, the way that he managed to back the lift truck with the material into our driveway on this tight street!

Install team very efficient and cleaned up the yard as best as they could. Dan kept us informed of the status. Overall, we had a great experience.

Once the day was scheduled, they had my roof paneling and tiles replaced by the end of the day. Very fast and professional. A few hiccups, but they got them sorted quickly. Plus, they were extremely helpful in getting my insurance to pay out, including a couple extra thousand they hadn't intended to cover.

I have worked with this company twice for roofing siding and gutter repairs and replacements after major storms. They are great to work with and make thing very easy. I will use them again if I need to and would recommend them to any one looking for the types of services they offer. Everyone I came into contact with this company was friendly and respected us and the property. Customer service was wonderful. Could not ask for anything better in a company.

I needed some information for a client at my job. They were very timely in getting the information to me. Then there was a bit of confusion on the date on the form, but they took the time to let me know it was correct & why.

Jim came and assessed our roof after the summer of several storms. Fortunately there was no damage requiring replacement. He did find a few issues that needed repair. Repairs were done so we should be waterproof for next year.

As a first-time home insurance claimant, Thompson helped make the storm damage repair process smooth and comforting. They did a great job of walking me through the process, providing quality work and ensuring support with communications through the whole repair job. They were recommended for me, and I will be doing the same for others moving forward!

Thompson and Thompson the 3rd Generation Roofing co, was extremely professional, communicative, cleaned up nails and other Roofing items, finished my half roof in one day. They had to replace some plywood, coz of holes from the fallen trees. The "worker bees" were as professional as the owners. They were wonderful and I highly recommend them.

The sales process was very easy. Jim is very knowledgeable and they were recommended to me by a family member. I noticed roofing materials being put up that did not match with what the contracted specified. I tried to talk to the people who were at my house, but none of them spoke English. I called and Thompson came out and, painted the mismatched drip edge. The language barrier continued with the crew doing the window wraps. I called and Thompson came out and corrected the issues that I noticed. The guttering work that was done was of good quality. It just was not the color that had been specified in the contract. When the crew came, I was told this is the color we have. Overall, Thompson did correct the issues I had with the work that was done. I was told several times that they have a lot of work to do because of the recent storms. The next time I need work done on my home I will not be contracting with Thompson & Thompson third Generation.

I had a problem with leaking flashing.Dan came to inspect and instantly found the problem. Cost, how to repair and timing happened exactly as he said it would. Very satisfied with the experience.

We had our roof, gutters and some siding replaced after a recent hail storm. They were fair, communicative, efficient and easy to work with. We were happy with the end product.

We have worked with Thompson and Thompson Third Gen a few times and they’ve always been absolute top notch, but this time, they went above and beyond. Seth D was super responsive, came out right away when we had part of our roof torn away, and patched it until we could get the roof replaced. They did our roof, gutters, downspouts, and replaced some siding. They worked with our other contractors (painters etc) and navigated everything well. They did an amazing job, cleaned up after themselves, finished quickly, and I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Construction projects get difficult with different people working on the bids than those that actually do the work. Renovation projects can get messy, as you also don’t know what is there until you tear off the old materials.

I would say that when there were some disconnects in my project, Dan Thompson got engaged, as the owner, and stepped up and came through to get to the bottom of the issue. I strongly believe that this customer service is why they are a 3rd generation construction company which is very impressive.

I would recommend them to anyone!

Second time depending on Thompson &Thompson 3rd Generation for post-storm repairs and this time was just as great of an experience as the first. Seth is a major asset to the company--professional, knowledgeable, great follow up, friendly and courteous and dependable. Several crews came to do their parts of the projects and all did their work quickly and accurately. We have appreciated working with them and they will be a top choice for future work.

Thompson and Thompson are my "go to" for roof repair. They are known for quality work. I was able to get Dan to check my roof after a storm one week after I called them. I had no damage except missing about a dozen ridge shingles. However, it took them several weeks to do the repair after I paid for the work because they were busy on other jobs. Fortunately, the weather was mild and the delay was not an issue. The repairs were done while I was at work and appear to be good.

My builder suggested Thompson and Thompson third generation would be the best company to look at any issues with roofing and I have stuck with them through thick and thin and they have there for me. Some of their friendliest people in the business.

They were great to work with. They explained everything that I would need. Did the work in a day and the roof looks great. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Very professional job looks awesome . They had alot of patence from helping me pick out shingles and working with what insurance gave me. They finished when they said they would and everything was cleaned up perfectly. I didn't find even 1 nail on the ground. Definitely will call them again if I need it.

Had our roof re-shingled and after some months found out we had a vent that leaked during a strong storm. Thompson & Thompson came over and checked it out and fixed our vent with no out of pocket expense on our part.
