Nate and his team were fantastic, we had to replace our roof and they came across some unexpected damage and they got it all properly fixed and replaced. Throughout it all Nate was very up front, honest and worked with us as much as he could to keep it within a reasonable budget. He also suggested a great masonry guy that came out and replaced our deteriorating chimney. I would highly recommend Nathan James Construction, it was a seamless and trustworthy experience from start to finish.

The installer of the gutters and gutter guards worked in 90 plus degree heat and high humidity from 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. to complete the work in one day. It was a particularly difficult job because the previous contractor used nails and adhesive to fasten the old gutter guards to the roof. This made removal much more tedious and time consuming. Work was scheduled two business days after I accepted the quote so I was very happy about that. You rarely see a contractor schedule a job that quickly. The work was top quality as the installer took great care not to damage the roof when removing the old gutter guards. Very happy with the results.

I bought a new construction home, with several dirty trees hanging over dropping matter into my gutters. After attempting to keep them clean, (2 rain storms), I called Nathan. Within just a few days of him coming and giving me an estimate, his crew covered my gutters. I am so happy to not have to continue to clean out or watch the water flow over my gutters! My journey with Nathan James Construction started several years ago when I had a leak in the roof of my garage. I had two roofers come to the house to repair the leak and they were unable to find where it was leaking. One of my neighbors had a roof replaced so I asked her for the name and # of her roofer. She gave me the name of Nathan James Construction whom I called regarding the same issue. Nathan came to my house within a few days to observe my problem which he then proceeded to repair what he thought was the issue. However, he refused payment and just said, remember me in the future if you have any future roofing needs.

Well, needless to say in 2023 we had a hail storm that brought a total roof replacement along with downspouts and gutter damage. I called Nathan James Construction company to evaluate the damage, and he worked with my insurance adjuster, and explained in full detail all of the necessary items that needed to be repaired. Once the insurance adjuster approved the work to be done, Nathan James Construction team took action and completed in 2 days. I cannot say how wonderful they were to work with! The site cleanup was outstanding and the employees are so respectful and skilled at their job. If it were not for the detailed cleanup, we would have never known that we actually had a gas leak which they noticed as they were cleaning up in that area. Thankful to them we were able to get a utility company in time to remedy issue.

When I had a surprise of water spots in my ceiling from our arctic temps warming up and thawing out condensation, I was pretty worried. I called Nate and was surprised that he answered the phone right away vs. calling an office and not dealing with someone directly. It was great to talk to him one on one and he was super knowledgeable and easy to communicate with. He was thorough setting up an appointment to come check things out a couple days later, and was on time for the appointment. He didn’t charge us for the visit and shared some pointers for the future. He was also kind enough to head up the street to my friend’s right after who was experiencing the same issues but didn’t call in advance. His willingness to work with our schedule and help our friend out as well speaks volumes, and his demeanor even on the phone left me feeling very at ease. Nathan James did all the work as described in a timely manner (one day) even having to go get more material to fix a problem that wasn't seen from original inspection. He was also very understanding when there was a problem with the insurance company and mortgage company delaying in their payments telling me not to worry about it because he has dealt with these types of company's before. His work was efficient and they cleaned up all the mess afterwards.

Nate and his crew were excellent to work with. Very timely and thorough in their work. We greatly appreciated their attention to protection of our wood deck and landscaping during the replacement of our entire roof due to prior year hail damage. Nate reviewed our roof in October 2022 and due to the upcoming winter months, he recommended that he put us as one of his first roof replacements on his 2023 spring schedule so that the roof would be better set with warmer temps spring into summer. We also had to replace guttering and when the color of our current gutter was no longer available, he provided us with options in consideration of our roof color. Again, he worked with us for the right selection. We appreciated his communication and integrity so much, that we provided his name to our daughter when they experienced roof leaking around their fireplace flashing. I really appreciated them helping me pick a shingle color that was more modern and really good looking. The garage has two parts to its roof - they added a metal flashing (that was not part of the original roof) to the smaller roof for added protection. And finally, they priced the job low enough that the insurance covered the cost completely.

Nate and his crew did a great job fixing our house siding. Had rotting issues around our 2 windows and chimney. After tear down, Nate noticed some additional rotting issues. He had some great ideas that made the new repair better than the original build! Nate was great to work with. He was punctual and within the quoted price.

We have used them twice now. Had roof replaced and soffit repair with new gutters, then this year they repaired a shed under our deck. Great work at a fair price both times.

After the last two rains resulted in our garage leaking, our insurance told us we needed an entire new roof. We got Nathan James' name from a co-worker who had used him for her roof replacement. We received four bids all about the same and quickly narrowed it down to Nathan James and one other. My husband was most impressed with Nathan because he answered all his questions and "he wasn't pushy". He also worked with us on color. (We have green shingles and did not want to change.) When his crew removed all the old tar paper we were all surprised to find about 20 holes in the roof decking that had been covered up (not repaired) by tar paper when our last roof was installed in 2001. Nathan kept us informed and gave us options on how to fix. His crew was thorough in both the work and in clean up, leaving our yard nail and debris free. We are very pleased with the work and highly recommend Nathan James Construction.

I have alot of trees around my house and they installed gutter guards to help prevent them collecting tree debris. I am very satisfied and would use them again! I cannot wait for it to rain now!

I used Nathan James Construction company to replace my roof and gutters that were damaged when a tree fell on my house. Nate was happy to work with me as I waited for insurance to get everything in order, and he came in right on budget for my roof project. The crew was timely, finishing my (small) roof in one day, and they did a wonderful job cleaning up at the end!

What impressed me most was how responsive Nate was after the project. We experienced some wind 3 months after our roof was done and one shingle came loose on the north side of the house. I mention this because due to our own timing (roof put on in November) and the way the sun hits the north side in the winter, some of the sun-activated glue on this shingle must not have had the chance to fully activate. I sent Nate a message, and he got back to me right away; then he came out to fix the shingle on the next work day, and didn't charge me for tacking it back down.

We have had no other leaks or issues at all, and I'm certain if we had our roof done in the summer this would not have happened in the first place. Hopefully nothing falls on it again, but if it does we'll absolutely call Nathan James construction back out for any of our roofing needs.

I would recommend them. I was given a bid but was not pressured in any way. They got my gutters removed and new ones installed in one day. I had to have a small change later and it was done without any further charge.

Nathan called us back within a short time to schedule an appointment for an estimate. At the appointment he was very professional and friendly, and answered all my questions about the project, including ventilation requirements. We had some new materials from a previous roofing project left over which were of good quality and could be used.

Since our job was small, the company was able to work us in the same week. The roofing crew workers were friendly, hard-working, and very capable. Our new roof was on and in good order before the next rain. We are quite thrilled with having the roof and ridge vents done and prepped for the next phases of work (adding wall vents, caulking, painting, gutters).

Paying for the job was very easy as well. Nathan submitted an invoice by email through Quickbooks, and I was able to pay electronically. Any opportunity to avoid fiddling with envelopes, paper checks, and stamps makes me very happy.

We met Nate through a referral from our neighbor who was very pleased with his roof install. He gave us a very competitive quote & established a very professional rapport. We developed that in the fall & even though it was too late to do the installation, we were able to get it done in the spring with the same quote (even though prices had gone up). He provided his insurance certificate & all documentation that we requested.
Materials arrived day before work was to commence & the crew & Nate were here to begin early next morning & finished that day! His crew cleaned up & he came back the next day for a final inspection & we were thoroughly pleased with the work (he even cut a few tree limbs that were overhanging the roof)! We cannot say enough good about Nate. I truly think he may be the kindest person on the planet! Regarding his work, he is an expert communicator, his work is quick and very well done. Showed up to do the quote and was very honest, knowledgeable, and professional. It took them only one day and they did a great job and even helped remedy some pre existing conditions. My roof, shed, and garage were all finished in one day. The crew that came out was very nice and they also did a great job of cleanup and haul away, I would Highly recommend!

Nate was very thorough in explaining our roof/chimney flashing issues and also recommended that we should replace our roof turbine. We weren't aware that it was a very old model and wasn't working (spinning) properly. He gave us a great quote, showed up on time, cleaned up any debris (old shingles, pieces of flashing, old turbine, etc.) from our yard, and provided very professional customer service. We'll definitely contact him for annual roof inspections and any future roof/gutter repairs!

Nate was amazing! The wind storms a couple days ago blew off some of my facia on the side of the top peak of my roof. I have a pretty large pitch on my roof so I was unable to get up there to take care of it myself. Nate answered on a Sunday afternoon and was out here that next morning at 0900 to fix the issue. Went above and beyond and noticed that a few other nails in some other areas were loose and went and knocked those in for me too! Finally, his price was WAY below what other were wanting to charge for this simple 20 minute fix. I will be hiring Nate for all my stuff from now on and would highly recommend him to anyone else!

After 30 years, my house needed a new roof. This team was awesome. The bid was very accurate, and clearly stated available options and costs. There was no decision pressure on us to pick the options. We literally took 2 months. Once we decided, scheduling was easy. The first person on-site was the boss, and the last to leave. The crew was very efficient, conscious of the flowers, and cleanup was perfect. I absolutely recommend this company.

We needed work done on our eaves and new gutters all around with leave guard on one side of our house that can't be easily reached. Initial contact, setting up an appointment for a free estimate, receiving the bid and finally installation of aluminum fascia and soffit as well as gutters -this was a great experience! After the work was done, they cleaned up so well, you'd never have guessed anyone was here to work on our house other than the fact that our roof looks fantastic now! I bought my house 15 years ago and have had recurring leak issues above my fireplace the entire time. I spent lots of money trying to get it fixed, probably 5 different contractors who just caulked around the flashing or did other things just to put a 'bandaid' on it. Nate was the only one who did the job correctly, by tearing off the old flashing and replacing it and some shingles. I couldn't be happier with the quality of his work at a reasonable price. I wish I'd found him earlier.
