After years of heat damage and poor airflow, we decided on a full roof replacement. Sam, Fred, and the roofers removed everything, replaced the decking near the ridge, and added new intake and ridge vents for proper circulation. The new shingles are reflective and seem to hold up better in the sun. They also restructured a sagging section above the attic where the rafters had started to bow. The roof looks sharper than it has in years.

Our cabin’s roof had seen better days; the asphalt shingles were cracked and moss-covered, and several spots had rotted beneath. We chose to go with a standing seam metal roof. Thompson Roofing tore off everything, installed new decking where needed, and laid down a waterproof membrane under the metal. They attached the panels, locked the seams, and sealed the ridge. It changed the entire look of the home. More importantly, we haven’t had to think about it since. Rain, wind, sun handles well and rolls right off. The metal is quiet, cooler in summer, and looks cleaner. I wish we’d done it five years ago.

We had three skylights integrated into our new roof installation. Good job. Mark and his team made sure all curbs were properly flashed and sealed. They removed our old asphalt roof and replaced it with new dimensional shingles. The entire 4,000+ sq. ft. project was wrapped up in under a week.
