Being in the restoration business for over 35 years and now retired I can confidently say that this is the only company I would let near my property when being struck by disaster. Trust me do yourself a favor being in this space as long as we have unfortunately there are a lot of bad actors out there that will sometimes try and take advantage. TRG is the only logical choice when you may find yourself in need or in a tricky situation.

The estimate/quote was perfect for the amount of work they completed (mold removal, air cleaning, and sealing). Doug and Chris were very accommodating by showing me pictures of the process instead of having me go up and down the stairs for every action. The inspector, Tim, was knowledgeable and amiable; he made sure I was also happy with the job before signing off on completion. I would fully recommend TRG to my friends.

They came quickly when we had a flood, found all of the water, and dried it all out. They left the equipment and kept checking on it until all was clean and dry.

4 years ago I had a major roof failure. Including major water damage. TRG came out and did a complete assessment. Temporary protective measures. When the job was finished you couldn't tell I had such major repairs. To this day it's as though nothing ever happened.
So, this week I found an unknown water problem in the ceiling of my dining room.
TRG came out and again did a complete inspection. Now waiting for final repair. I have complete confidence. Not worried at all.

We recently had a plumbing failure that caused significant damage. TRG came in and handled it! Great local company that kept us informed through out the entire process. My wife and I contracted with TRG to restore our kitchen and master bathroom after succumbing to water damage from the tenants unit above. Scott R. from TRG worked directly with our insurance company, which was a lifesaver, John M., completed the initial site inspection, while Justin E., managed the project, ensuring that we were made whole. Yes, the process took awhile, no fault on TRG'S part, but TRG stuck with us throughout the entire process. They even collaborated seamlessly with the company who completed the water mitigation process, effectively and efficiently. My wife and I were so impressed that we even asked TRG to complete an additional project for us as well. Without question, if needed (hopefully not), we would immediately reach out to TRG again. In a stressful situation, TRG helped lower our overall anxiety and assisted us in all aspects.

Our home suffered extreme heat damage due to a huge fire in the house next door. The vinyl siding on our house which faced the fire had completely melted and was hanging in shreds, along with cracked windows and other damages. We were very concerned about further damage in regard to the coming rainstorm.
Shortly after calling and speaking with the representative, Roxanne Murray, a team was quickly dispatched to our house wherein they removed the damaged vinyl siding strips and applied protection sheets to all the exposed wood. Marvin and his crew were quick, efficient and skillful.
From the first on-site meeting with Scott Reynolds he was straight forward, people friendly and knew how to skillfully assess and handle the situation as well as explain the process to us.
We were very impressed with the speed and efficiency of everyone involved and would highly recommend The Restoration Group to anyone who finds themselves in a similar situation.

We were looking for a contractor to put insulation in the crawl space at a rental. After searching the internet for insulation contractors we finally got a couple of people to look at it. One left the crawl space door off and it was snowing. Needless to say I would never get that contractor and the other never got back to us. I signed it and the following Monday they were there and completed the job. They texted when they were finished. Wish I had known about them sooner. It would have saved much frustration and stress. The Restoration Group showed up at one of our lowest points, after we had lost nearly everything to a house fire. From the first meeting with Tom he was straightforward and his knowledge about dealing with insurance companies was extremely helpful. Over 18 months we got to know Tom, Josh and a number of people on their team as well as a bunch of their subcontractors. Each one of them took pride in their jobs, communicated with us, were empathetic to what we were going through, and were professional. James became a friend, and looked after the entire project as if it were his own home. It's hard to describe what it feels like to be in such a vulnerable situation, and yet we always felt like we were in good hands. Josh was always responsive, helpful, professional and went above and beyond to help us out whenever and wherever he could. When Roxanne was called in to action, she orchestrated planning and details like nothing I've ever seen. For going through something so devastating, we were fortunate to have TRG on our side. Not only did they put our house back together, but they went out of their way to make sure our expectations weren't just met, but exceeded.

Exceptionally pleased with the service and attentiveness of Luis from TRG!

I called because of a leak in my ceiling, and Roxanne assured me she’d have someone out ASAP to see what was up. Luis came, explained the situation fully, told me the plan for addressing the issue, and then came back every single day (even Sunday) to monitor progress.

The one downside is that I couldn’t get a solid estimate in advance of the work due to it being an emergency, however I was provided with a list of the cost for the daily use of each piece of equipment.

I highly recommend TRG for when (not “if”) the unexpected happens in your home!

This group did work when I had a bathroom leak requiring removal of a cabinet, mitigation, and building a new cabinet. The bathroom was painted and baseboards replaced. Excellent work. Arrived on time and was notified when they would be here. Care was taken to protect carpets and area was cleaned each time.

We had a terrible accident involving 4 vehicles leaving our business showroom open and unsafe with glass/debris strewn out for 100ft. I called TRG and they had a crew out next day. They went above and beyond and got our area safe, clean and protected within 24 hours. HIGHLY recommend..

This was a complicated restoration as the water damage to the laundry room and master bathroom occurred just before we left our beach house in Ocean View, DE for Tulsa, OK last October. After a prolonged assessment and final decision by the insurance company, we communicated with Justin Estes long distance with the help of our children. They are located in Georgia, New Jersey and Delaware. Justin juggled all 4 of us to keep everyone in the loop. He and our daughter planned and executed the details of purchase and installation with input from me, our son in DE and daughter-in-law in NJ. Justin went out of his way to work with her to find items that worked with our budget and choices. The results are really lovely and and updated.

I'm updating this review after a call from the owner. I was impressed that he monitors his reviews and reaches out to customers who may not be fully satisfied with the service they received and would work to make sure the next experience meets their expectations. This is an owner that wants to do right by his customers.

The Restoration Group was very responsive and helpful. They did a great job responding as quick as possible, completing services, and answering all my questions in an honest and professional manner. Luis and Abel worked hard to ensure great quality in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend The Restoration Group and look forward to their help in the future.

I contacted this company as a result of a water damage. Initially I was impressed by their prompt response. They came in on a Sunday morning, took the floor apart, set up a dehumidifier and fans. They checked the moisture level the next day. The situation progressed so I was told we would have to keep the equipment on the site . On day 3 the floor made no progress. The workers were estimating that it might be the glue since it’s only in certain areas.
The workers were making their decisions based on the supervisor’s decision (once the workers submitted photos). They insisted to have the equipment one more day. I agreed despite seeing no progress in the moisture level. On day 5 they agreed to take the equipment out but the worker wanted me to sign a form from HR that was vaguely stating I assume responsibility for the moisture in the floor.

I have not received a report with the progress or the timeframe of the project. I asked to talk the boss who has been giving directions to the worker based on photos submitted.

The supervisor mentioned that there is no deadline for the work he needs to complete and it is not my business how long they will have the fans and dehumidifiers in my house.

Then, the supervisor called my insurance adjuster to justify they did everything they could. As I write this I am still in the process of learning what is the next step and if they will finish the mitigation process

. From my perspective as a customer, when you see no progress, you come up with another plan. You don’t milk the customer and the insurance adding one more day with no end in mind.

The supervisor is rude, unprofessional and uncooperative. When you have your home upside down the last thing you need as a customer is a hard time. If you choose this company think twice.

Josh Muncy was my contact that I used with the The Restoration Group. Josh came out and crawled under my house and within hours got back to me with an estimate. Josh was very professional and seemed like he took a lot of pride in what he does. Josh walked my wife and I through the whole process step by step. The Restoration Group did an excellent job performing the restoration work for my house. They provided prompt, good quality service and completed the work according to my requested timeline. Scott was very organized, professional, and responsive, and I appreciated that Justin put in the extra effort to finish the job on time.

We had a water issue in our crawlspace and called The Restoration Group around 6:52 pm. We received a callback from Scott within 10 minutes. He sent his best technician, Luis Hernandez, who was finishing up another job, which was about an hour from our home. Luis arrived at our home around 8:20 pm and started immediately removing the water that had accumulated in our crawlspace. Luis was able to remove all of the accumulated water and set up large fans to dry the area. The fans ran for three days and our crawlspace was completely dry and areas were treated with an antimicrobial disinfectant to deter any mold growth. Everyone we dealt with was professional, responsive and pleasant. We would call The Restoration Group again should the need arise.

With nearly 10 inches of rain in the month of April our new construction crawlspace had an issue with mold. Josh was responsive within minutes of leaving him a voicemail. They were out in two days and his crew did an excellent job.What a relief for us knowing the issue was handled in one day. Thank you!

TRG is an absolute gem! My parents home received major damage from a recent tornado, and we were devastated at the ravage done. I recently had a broken pipe due to freezing in a property that we use as a short term rental. Due to the circumstances the loss was not covered by insurance. I contacted Alexis and scheduled an inspection of the property. I live 2 hours away so I could not readily be on site to meet them and had to trust that they had my best interest in mind. Upon inspection they set up drying equipment and kept me informed along the way of the progress. I asked them if I could do the repairs once it was dry and they worked well with me on that. As it turned out Scott and his team only pulled up the flooring needed to properly dry the premises and did so in a way that it could easily be repaired. I was a bit hesitant to write a “blank check” to them but they truly worked with me, the customer in mind and did it all for a fair price. Words cannot express how pleased I am with the entire process and would recommend them to anyone.

The Restoration Guys came in timely fashion and removed wet insulation, vapor barrier, and ductwork that had become extremely soaked due to an unknown waterleak. They came in removed and replaced everything within two weeks time. My 86 yr old mother-in-law was informed along the way of each step and is very pleased. I checked with several companies to come in to our home after mold required part of a wall to be removed. TRG was the only company to quickly come out, provide an estimate in a timely manner, and then have a crew there within a week to perform the work. The crew was professional as was the work they completed. They replaced part of a wall, baseboard and window frame and also repaired many holes and issues in the walls and ceiling of the room and painted the ceiling. We were away while they did the work and when we returned everything looked perfect and there was no mess or debris left behind. I strongly recommend this company and will be calling them back to look at a bathroom remodel project.

Wow! This company is fantastic! We had a water leak and water damage in our basement. We started with a different company and got the runaround. We had a car run into one of our commercial properties in Milford DE. I called TRG immediately and they had a crew on site within minutes. They oversaw the entire project from cleaning up the accident debris, securing the property, and doing all the reconstruction. The service provided was restitution following water damage, also coordination with replacement of three areas of flooring at the same time.
